Serena us the daughter of a mafia boss and when her life is turned upside down who will she turn too? Durga thought he list everything when his father was killed but he found comfort in serena. Saving her life once from a sex trafficking ring can he save her again before it’s to late? Full of twist and turns and suspense.
This book left me speechless, I was glued to it. Diego and Serena were great to begin with and as I got deeper into the book I couldn’t believe everything that was going on. Diego fell for Serena the second they met and he couldn’t believe that she had vanished. Serena went from being in the limelight to living in the shadows. She felt as if there was no escape, where ever she turned there was danger. But lucky for both of them Diego was the guy that saved Serena from the shadows. What they both wanted was to have forever with each other and they did. I received a free copy from the author and reviewed voluntarily.
This was such a great read and action packed from the beginning. Diego is the enforcer for the Marcone family and Serena is the princepessa and only child of the Vitales. Diego has been taking out the people responsible for his father’s murder. Serena is now a voice for women being trafficked. She wants to help stop it and has a new foundation. She is a very strong-willed and feisty woman who speaks her mind. In their quests, both have managed to catch the eye of a certain man and that man wants to put an end to all of them. We met the Marcones in Vengeful, the Severnov’s books. However, you don’t need to read those to understand these. Diego and Serena are cut from the same cloth. They are both in mafia families and they both have guilt a mile high. These two had such a strong and instant connection. They were fated to be together. This has suspense, lots of action, deceit, trust and twists and turns. Diego is willing to put his life on the line to keep Serena safe. This is another great start to a new family and I can’t wait for more. I love the story and the characters are fantastic. War has started again. Who will come out on top?
I could not put this edge of your seat book down! Wanted is the first book in Kristen Luciani’s new Men of Mayhem series featuring Diego, younger brother of the leader of the Marcone Mafia family, and Serena, the daughter of Franco who is the head of the Vitale Mafia family. This book brings both Italian mafia families together but Franco is protective of Serena and does not want Diego involved with her. When this couple meets again it sets off a rollercoaster ride of events. Once again Kristen Luciani has written another perfect read with its intriguing characters and fascinating plot full of suspense, danger, twists, passion, and romance perfect for readers who enjoy mafia love stories.
I received an arc in return for an honest and voluntary review.
Although Mafia stories aren’t my favorite, somehow this author makes me want to read them! I get sucked right in every time!
Diego and Serena had so much chemistry! The danger that those two made it through had me sweating bullets! Great story, that I didn’t want to put down once I got into it.
I just love a good mafia romance and this did not disappoint. Serena and Diego are amazing and together they had me wanting more. I loved how Diego was protective, but evil lurks. This book had all my emotions rolling. It’s full of suspense, drama, danger, chemistry and romance. Super excited for more in this series!
This is the 1st in a new series from this talented author, and what a fantastic introduction this Serena and Diego’s story is. This is a well written flawless story which is a dark and intense read and filled with drama, secrets, danger, twists, suspense, and with witty banter and humour which all lead to a steamy and all-consuming page turner, which had me on tenterhooks throughout. I highly recommend for all readers and look forward to reading the 2nd book in this awesome series.
Dramatic Action Amidst Romance
A good story of murder, mystery, intrigue, action, adventure and guns; lots and lots of guns. This is a story of the Italian Mafioso and we get it in spades in this story. There is a romance going on in tandem to this with both the main male character and the main female character each feeling a strong connection to one another. The difference with their romance is they just need to stay alive long enough to see how their connection will play out. This story ends on a cliffhanger as this is book one in a series.
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel from the author and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
I love me a good mafia tale, and here we definitely have one. This is the first in the Marcone family series, starting with Diego. The Marcone’s are connected through marriage to the Severino family, the bad a** Russian mafia family. So we’re completely surrounded by the all the baddies. And they’re gonna need it. Because in avenging his fathers murder, Diego ends up getting himself (and his family) on the hit list of some even badder guys. But in between bullets flying and betrayals happening he meets his princess, Serena Vitale, also mafia royalty. They have a connection that can’t seem to be broken, no matter who tries. I’m so excited to read more of this series! I loved this first one, am totally in love with Diego , and loved how it started off with a bang!!
OMG! What an amazing start to the Men of Mayhem series. Kristen luciani is always on top of her game. This book primarily revolved around two powerful mafia families, the Marcone’s and the Vitale’s. It told the story of Diego Marcone and Serena Vitale. The characters were great and I can hardly wait for the next book that follows. This book is a must read and I highly recommend.
Serena is determined to make her own way, without the influence of her mafia boss father Franco. But being a Vitale, she knows there are dangers. The big night of her charity event proves how close the dangers truly lurk.
Diego sees her in person for the first time at her charity event. When she comes to him, he is taken – knowing they have a connection, but her father makes it clear that he should keep his distance. Diego’s brother taking over the family business after their father was killed, he can understand Vitale’s protectiveness since he and his brothers are the same.
After months of hiding, Diego and Serena’s paths cross once again. Little do they both know, it happened sooner than planned. As they grow closer, the danger escalates and when Serena is taken will Diego be able to save her?
Holy crap – Kristen will take you on a ride with this fantastically written mafia romance. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop until the end. It has all the nail biting suspense that I love, had me questioning who sold out to who, and the chemistry between Diego and Serena is off the charts! I loved how Kristen pulled me in and kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end – the cherry on the pie was the lead in to Ant’s story. I can’t wait to see where Kristen takes her Men of Mayhem series.
****I received an ARC of this book directly from the author in exchange for my honest review****
Wanted blew me away. Just when I thought it was safe to turn the page, the author came at me with a vengeance. Wanted is intense, dangerous and kept me on the edge of my seat. Who thought grabbing a cup of coffee would be life changing? Diego took one look at Serena a year ago and has never forgotten her. Serena’s life changed in an instant and she is no longer the woman she thought she could be. Two life changing moments give her a second chance at life but being with Diego is dangerous. These two need each other and they’ll have to figure out if love can survive the most dangerous circumstances. Kristen Luciani has written an outstanding mafia book. I am ready for more from this series.

I’m a huge fan of this author and of mafia romances so when I heard about this book I knew I was going to need to read it…..and I was so right. This book had a little bit of everything. It was dark & full of suspense but also had some lighthearted moments & a bit of humor. Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Although I am normally not a Mafia romance reader, I am well acquainted with the work of Kristen Luciani. I decided to give Wanted a try. I was not disappointed just on the edge of my seat for the entire ride. Serena is a mafia princess however she has a heart for the every day woman after experiencing fear and pain at the hands of the scum of the earth. Diego and his brothers are putting the pieces together of their shattered family business after the death of their father a couple years ago. When they are at an event sponsored by Serena’s family and foundation, Diego falls under the spell of her laugh and her smile and her spirit. Sadly both families have their enemies and they have vowed to destroy both their families. It’s so difficult to live a life on the edge, constantly looking over your shoulder, trying to protect the ones you love. I loved this story even though the anxiety level is high through the entire book. Be prepared for a marathon read.

Wanted is fresh, exciting and really really good!!! The Mafia drama is intense, the Marcone family camaraderie is hysterical and the passion between Serena and Diego is alluring! They made such an impression on me. I love Serena and Diego! These two are so alike in their stubbornness and antics I was captivated.
I learned that Wanted is a spinoff from a past series, but I was never lost, all it did was make me want to read every book having anything to do with these mafias.
I really enjoyed the suspenseful storyline of Wanted. I really fell in love with the characters and am so looking forward to more Men of Mayhem. SO Thrilled I read it!

WANTED: Men of Mayhem Book 1
I am a huge fan of this author so ordered the paperback of this book as soon as I was able to. From the beautiful cover to the very last page this wonderful story.
While this is a darker story, it has a sense of humor and lightness at times. The banter between the H and h made me chuckle a full times. This story is full of suspense and redemption. There is family (“You’re the one I want with me. No offence to your family, buy I’ve made my choice.”) and a few things that just come out of left field. Each turn of the page kept me on the edge of my seat.
Mafia isn’t my favorite genre, but the way this story is written makes me a fan.
I will absolutely be reading the rest of this series. Is it written yet?

This book is a dark roller coaster of emotions. We get action, suspense, mystery, and of course some hot chemistry between the two main characters. Serena is smart, classy, and a little bit like a lost cub in the woods. She is determined to make it on her own, and to stand on her own two feet. She has been through something horrific that her family has kept under wraps. Diego has demons of his own. He carries the guilt of past actions, and is just as determined to right his wrongs. When he meets Serena the instant connection they both feel can not be denied. With constant outside forces determined to not only tear them apart, but possibly kill them they need to stay ever vigilant. Follow along on their journey to see if they can overcome the malicious forces out to destroy them.
This book is about the daughter (Serena) of a mafia boss named Franco. Serena wants to be a fashion designer and also rescue young women who have been trafficked especially since it almost happened to her. Diego is the enforcer of another mafia family and falls in love with Serena. Yet a third mafia family is responsible for the death of her mother and is after Serena and her father, so Diego starts to protect her. Then things get tricky due to all the plots and plans of the three mafia families. How can Diego and Serena possibly have an HEA in the midst of all this danger and suspense? I highly recommend this book!
