From USA Today bestselling author Kristen Luciani comes a pulse-pounding, edge-of-your-seat gripping, mafia romantic suspense. Caffeine. It’s why I stumbled into that sidewalk cafe in Palermo.Serena Vitale is the reason why I left with a target on my back.Since I met her, she’s been the star of every single salacious fantasy. With a body built for sin and heart of gold, I knew I had to make her … body built for sin and heart of gold, I knew I had to make her mine.
Except she’s a princess and,
I’m no knight in shining armor.
A fact her ruthless father made pretty damn clear
When he ordered me to stay away.
Now we share a common enemy,
One that won’t rest until we’re both eliminated.
I know I can save her.
Her father knows it, too.
And he doesn’t care that sparing her life means I’d have to give up my own.
WANTED is the first book in the new Sicilian mafia series, MEN OF MAYHEM, by USA Today Bestselling author Kristen Luciani. Be prepared to lose yourself in the dark, dangerous, and deliciously deviant underworld starring the Marcone family.

Loved it brilliant love all her books
This book was full of action, definitely keeping you on your toes. Serena and Diego were both born into the mafia. When bullets fly and Diego saves her, he finds that they have common enemies.
I enjoyed reading this story.

Disappointing and NOT dark
I didn’t realise this was a sweet story. The only vaguely dark aspect was the mafia angle. So disappointing as I was hoping for a dominant alpha who takes control, not a nice guy who is wishy-washy.
I guess if you want a nice vanilla read this will probably tick the box.

I love Diego Marcone and Serena Vitale! These charismatic characters might be members of the Mafia world but they are likable and interesting. They have enormous chemistry from their first conversation and it’s obvious that they are fated to end up together. This book has action, danger, steamy romance and a great story. It’s the first book of the series and the first one I have read and I want to read them all! I loved it.

Wanted is book one in the Mafia Men of Mayhem series and is Serena and Diego’s story. Serena and Diego meet in a coffee shop and from the moment they meet they are instantly attracted to each other. One problem Serena is the daughter of the top Mafia boss and he doesn’t want his daughter with Diego. This is a page turning mafia romance with intriguing characters, danger, suspense, steam, and unexpected twists that pulled me into the story. I look forward to reading the rest of this series.
Love reading mafia romances and I can’t wait to read more in this series. Serena is a mafia princess. Deigo and Serena have great chemistry.

Wanted is the first book in the Men of Mayhem series by Kristen Luciani, and is a love at first sight, mafia romance. There was plenty of drama, suspense, deception, chemistry and steam to keep the story intriguing.
In Wanted, Serena is the only daughter of the most powerful mafia family in Italy. Her beliefs and work ethics has stirred up the unwanted attention of another mafia family, causing the death of her mother. Tired of hiding, Serena risks going out for a coffee, only to be nearly taken out by a would-be assassin.
Diego is from the Moreno family. After the death of his father, he blamed himself for missing all the signs and went on a violent rampage, seeking revenge on all those responsible for his father’s death. He’s always had a crush on Serena, and meeting her in person only heightened those feelings. But he never saw or heard from her again after the gala, until two months later he feels her in a coffee shop and stops the attempt on her life.
This story was everything that a mafia romance should be, while also relaying a message on human trafficking and the dangers as it is real and a lucrative business in the black market skin trade. I’m intrigued to hear about the rest of the Moreno brothers now after seeing how tight and family oriented they are.
Slow burn that delivers a lot of satisfying fireworks
Wanted is the first book in the new Mafia Men of Mayhem series. This is a darker story about Diego Marcone and Serena Vitale. Diego is twenty-seven years old and a dark, dangerous and deadly man. He works in the family business….the Sicilian Mafia. He and his brother now run the family with death and destruction following in their wake as they have exacted vengeance on those responsible for their father’s death. Serena is twenty-four and was brought up as a spoiled and isolated Mafia princess. She does have a brain though also as she has a degree in fashion and wants to become a designer in Milan. But her father refuses to allow her to leave Naples as he wants her close to keep her safe, after all she was almost kidnapped six months ago. So instead she has started a foundation to help fight sex trafficking of women and children. This puts an even larger target on her back by her father’s partners and enemies, as it is going against some of their business. When Diego and Serena first see each other at a fundraiser it is fireworks and explosions. But when her father warns Diego to stay away from Serena will he be able to? Or will he risk his life to get the woman he is obsessed with?
This book is nicely written and has a wonderful story-line and characters. It is a bit Romeo and Juliet with a modern spin and some dark Mafia based twists. My only issue is that the story was a bit confusing a few times. But overall this was a great first book in the new series and I am looking forward to reading the next.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy….check
Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check
Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
This is book is part of the Mafia Men of Mayhem series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Okay a little back history on what’s going on the father/head of the Marconi family, Sicilian was murdered, his sons have worked for three years to rebuild their family after their father’s death. Vince being the oldest took over as boss. He doesn’t trust anyone, can see the big picture and rules with an iron fist (sort of). Next in line is Cristian who moved to Monaco to run their shipping business with Alek Severinov (whose father was also murdered) making him the surviving partner in the business. Up next would-be Anthony and Tommy they work the specialty foods, imports, exports and nightclubs/bars. Leaving Diego who can do it all which was his training he make sure all business are running smooth as silk, level headed and headed home after taking care of ensuring their father’s murder was taken care of permanently and oh yeah no women (yeah right). Serena Vital is a mafia princess, known as a fashion icon followed by many young girls, lives life with the paparazzi but she isn’t happy because she worked hard for her degree in fashion and want to be a fashion designer but daddy says no (in not a nice way either) Serena has heart starting a foundation to aid in sex trafficking bring awareness upsetting his business partners but he stands behind in support of his daughter. While attending a fundraiser Serena and Diego see each other and it is like a lightning bolt the chemistry is instant and intense, the magnetic pull can’t be ignored. Her father isn’t having any of it when it comes to the two of them warning him to stay away but after a crisis bring them together will they continue to fight the attraction, is there trouble headed their way, will her father agree to allow them to be together, will their enemies come for the two of them and can they have happiness?
This is the first book in the Marcone mafia family. This is the story of Diego and Serena Vitale. Serena Vitale is a mafia princess who was kidnapped and almost sold in the sex trafficking ring one of the other mafia families was running. After that, she wanted to fight for all those other girls and women who were forced into sex trafficking. She started a foundation to help the victims of sex trafficking. She wants to do more and doesn’t want to be helpless anymore. Diego is the enforcer in his family. He let his emotions rule him when he wanted revenge for those responsible for killing his father. He started his own event production company and has vowed to stay away from women. When Diego and Serena meet, they are both instantly attracted to each other and feel a connection when they start talking. Of course, Franco Vitale will put a stop to anyone he doesn’t feel is worthy of his daughter. When Diego hears Serena talk about her foundation, something changes in him and he just wants to protect this woman.
This is filled with deception, betrayal, revenge, tragedy, passion, trust, family and loyalty. I am looking forward to reading more of this series and will definitely be going to purchase the other books to find out what happens with Anthony, Tommy and Vince Marcone. Great start to the series! Another really great dark Mafia romance from this author. ‘Wanted’ is the first book in the new series, Men of Mayhem. Although this is a dark Mafia romance, I found it to be light hearted and sweet in places. The story is well written and easy to read. The plot is fast paced with plenty of twists and turns to keep you riveted. The characters are well developed and likeable, the chemistry between them is hot.
Overall, a great story and start to a new series. Can’t wait to read the remaining stories of the hot Marcone brothers.

I really liked Diego and Serina’s story. I have read other books by Kristen Luciani but none in this series or the series it spun off from, but I didn’t feel like I was missing information. I am genuinely curious now and will most likely go back and read those.
I loved the banter between Serina and Diego, they both had a very cheeky sense of humor that made the action in the book fun. There were mentions of sex trafficking but it was not graphic. I love when the mafia has a moral compass, it makes the very bad men seem more likable. I don’t know how she did it but Kristen made a book about criminals sweet and romantic.
3.5 stars, it was a good read. I did not keep me engaged as other Mafia stories I have read but a good read. I have not read anything from this author before but I will try out another book of hers maybe even in the series.

Loved the book, the story was written well and the characters were incredible. This story is about Diego and Serena. Serena is a mafia princess a pawn to the family. Diego has been told he will be marrying Serena, but he has no desires to marry they start having some feelings for each other. Will they get together or will they both ignore their families.

I love this authors writing, I like the way she writes her characters and the plotlines.
Yes, you could say that it’s the same story but with different names and places but that wouldn’t do justice to her books. They all interweave with each other and, if read in the right order, you can follow the ongoing stories of previous characters. In essence, it’s a world of families and friends and how they connect with each other – or not, in some cases.
This was the story of Diego and Serena and how they got to their happy ever after, or as happy ever after as mafia romances go!
I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
Serena Vitale and her father hoped Diego would be the guy. In a battle against human trafficking Serena finds out they hoped right.
There’s a ton of chemistry between Serena and Diego. This book is filled with action scenes, angst, betrayal and heat. You won’t be able to put it down.
On the slower side of medium burn, heat level 3/5, no cheating but you do get an on the page description of a flashback with a trashy OW attempting to seduce H again the morning after they had sex the night before, no cliffhanger and an HEA.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I had heard about this new series that Kristen was writing and I knew I had to give it a try and I am glad I did. I got so much out of it. It was suspenseful and riveting and so much more that I started reading it and could not put it down. Serena and Diego really did make the book.
Diego and Serena are in the mafia and are wanted by an enemy. Diego knows he is to stay away from her as her father has made it known to him but he also knows that he can save her. The only thing is how to make her understand that he can help her out. Will Serena let Diego help her or will they both be doomed to die?
This is a one click series and needs to be read in order to get the full effect of it. So go on and one click this bad boy!
Serena is the princess of a crime family and Diego is a son in another family; the two are in the same circle but don’t really have anything to do with each other. Diego has always been attracted to Serena and at an event he does actually get to speak with her for a very short moment. Months later (I believe its months, was kind of not clear) Diego ends up saving Serena’s life in a coffee shop, from there its a fight to stay alive for both of them and as they are unsure as to who is hunting them they aren’t even sure what direction to look. Will Diego and his family be able to keep Serena safe, or are they all in danger?
Seeing as this is a mafia style story, I expect the H to be the uber alpha male type. Diego was not this type, in fact there are times where I felt that Serena was more alpha male than he was. I found this to be missing something, I can’t even tell you what, I keep wracking my brain as to what it is that I’m not getting. In the end I found this to just be an ok story, and give it 3.5 stars.
