I love mail order bride books because they show both sides to the story and they are always so well written and the characters are so involved that I just had to get to the end to see if Tobias and Elena would make it. Awesome book.

Elena and Tobias promise each other for better or for worse. However, their marriage is in name only, because problem childhoods have soured both of them to the idea of marriage.
I enjoyed the fun Wild West quirkinesses of the book. Tobias had a John Wayne quality about him. This book is a good throwback read. I liked the strength of mind and will that both displayed.
They both admire, value hard work and an honorable system of personal values.
However , for better or for worse is an apt description of this story. The author wanted to leave you in NO doubt of how much each of the main characters despised the other sex with sweeping generalizations. Their whining monologue on the subject was over-the-top and annoying.
Also, it is hard for me to picture someone with the personality of Mace Thorne not taking Elena immediately. There is nothing in his character that seems to say he would have the patience, mercy, or will-power to wait for something he wants.
However, overall I loved the characters in the small town of Silverpines, and hope that I can read more of their stories.

The seventh book in the Silverpines Series is well written and part of the series I have wanted to read. Elena Somersville puts out an ad for a mail order husband. Tobias Clayborne answers as he wants Mace Thorne a man who killed his best friend and the friends wife. Mace Thorne was promised Elena through her brother who is now dead, but Elena does not want him. What happened kept me turning pages. This is a quick, clean story to read.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
If you’re looking for a quick read that’s sure to make you smile this one is it. I like the characters and flow of the plot.
My free opinion. Thanks.

Can a marriage that starts for the wrong reasons be a success? What will happen when secrets got revealed? Can Elena and Tobias make their marriage work?
Every book in this series is a fun read. I ready enjoy reading the ‘mail order groom’ concept. Looking forward to read the next in this series.
Intriguing from the first pages!
I was immediately drawn into this story! I’ve enjoyed the whole series so far, and this one is definitely one of the most memorable!
