Love westerns. These fit the bill!
Great old fashioned western fun!
all but one of the authors had proof read their work. one had characters leading their ” burrows” and other dragonspeak errors. made me want to look at the other writers longer works by contrast.
A collection of western stories some better than others. An introduction to authors that might be new to you.
If you love westerns you will like this read that you cannot put down.
Some of the writing was sophomiric and poorly researched location settings. However it was good escapism and sometimes that’s all that is really important.
good book
Good entertainment reading here. I found the stories by Brad Dennison, Lou Bradshaw, and Tell Cotten the more enjoyable in the collection.
Get rid of RJThomas. No story. Characters are lame. Main character has PTSD with suicidal tendencies. Other characters are crast bully and soft sheriff. No closure. The other authors are amazing writers with enjoyable stories to share.
a good selection of westerns keeps your interesst
I liked all the different stories. It is a good way to see if I like way author writes
Good western stories
Fun reads that make you want to keep reading.
Good short westerns
Excellent westerns!!
Several good Westernstories
First time I’ve read westerns, and I enjoyed the change. Contained several short book/long stories set in the 1800’s west. Each could be read in an hour or less. The format allowed me to read a few of the stories, set the book a side while I read “Killing Patton”, and come back to it. The stories are by different authors and are unrelated.
great introduction to a lot of new authors
All western short stories. That are well written and a good way to spend a day.
I am normally not a fan of short stories but this was fun reading.
