The smart and sexy Garner brothers have turned Glory Junction into California’s hottest extreme sports town—and a thrilling adventure of the heart is always part of the deal . . . The savvy CEO behind his family’s outdoor sporting empire, TJ Garner has his choice of women. But the only one he wants is way out of bounds. Deb Bennett has been his brother Win’s on and off girl since they were … since they were teenagers. And Deb’s still waiting for Win to quit fooling around and realize she’s The One . . .
Deb carves the ski slopes and rides the rapids like a champion—it’s getting her every day life in order that’s the real challenge. When she turns to Win’s big brother for financial advice, TJ spontaneously offers the hard-working waitress an executive job at Garner Adventure. To Deb’s surprise, the job is a blast—and so is working for TJ. She always knew he was a heartthrob, just like all the Garners, but he’s charming and attentive too. Of course, given the choice between him and Win there’s no contest—or is there? . . .

TJ has liked Deb since high school. Deb has liked TJ since high school. So what’s the problem? Misunderstandings between the two abound, and the very thing that makes them most suited for each other – fierce family loyalty – also is the trait that most stands in the way of their happily ever after. As with all of Stacy’s books, the characters are amazingly alive and real. Deb’s desperation over her finances, JT’s growing dissatisfaction at being the CEO of his family’s business, it all rings so true that it can just make your heart soar – or ache. The sparring and horseplay among the brothers is utterly engaging. There is a side story going on with JT’s baby brother Win, as well, that is compelling, and provides a level of complexity that is really unusual in a romance novel. I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this wonderful book in return for my honest review, and I devoured it in about 13 hours (with very little sleep along the way).
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I have read all of Stacy Finz’s Nugget and Garner Brothers series. While each book is a standalone, I highly recommend reading them all. I love how each book can be read as a standalone, but if you’re lucky enough to have read all her books, you notice characters from other stories popping in from time to time. The story of TJ and Deb was a long time in the making. TJ has had a crush on Deb since they were very young. Her family used to clean at his families adventure business. Unfortunately, Deb always thought TJ was way out of her league, but she thought she had a connection with his brother, Win. Deb and Win had been an on again, off again, couple since they were in high school. Eventually, Deb realized her feelings for Win had changed and decides she needs to move on. TJ hires Deb to help with a position at their company that she’s not qualified for, but he thinks she could be great at. Convincing themselves they aren’t attracted to each other when they’re working so close together turns out to be harder than they thought! Win, of course, has his own issues going on in this book. You can’t help but have such a strong reaction to his finance in this story. And not in a good way!
If you enjoy reading stories that draw you in and make you feel a part of them, then Stacy Finz books are for you. I really enjoyed TJ and Deb’s story. It was sassy at times, and steamy at others! It made me laugh, and made me just feel good! I highly recommend this book to everyone!
Loved, loved, loved! These Garner brothers are all so swoony and TJ seems to have it all. A little bit geeky, a whole lot rugged, and hot as sin. As the CEO of Garner Adventures he could have his pick of women but the only one he wants is Deb. Too bad she’s off limits. TJ’s brother Win and Deb have had a sometimes on again, mostly off again relationship of years and TJ has had to watch from the sidelines. Now Deb is working for Garner Adventures and staying away from her is getting harder and harder.
I absolutely adore this series and even though each book can be read standalone I recommend you treat yourself and read them all. I’m sure you will fall in love with the little town of Glory Junction and all the characters that live there just as I have. I definitely recommend this one.
Finz is the mistress of small town romance, and Want You does not disappoint.
Glory Junction is the setting for adventurous characters you will fall in love with. TJ and Deb’s story will keep you turning the pages and rooting for their happily ever after.
I highly recommend this book to fans of the contemporary romance genre.
I loved TJ and Deb’s story! TJ is now my favorite Garner brother. It was fun catching up with Colt and Delaney & the other characters from Glory Junction. The Garner Brothers series just keeps getting better! I’m looking forward to Win and Darcy’s story. I can’t wait to see what Stacy Finz has planned for them. 🙂
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy.
Want You by Stacy Finz
The Garner Brothers #2
Glory Junction feels like a small town environment although it is flooded with tourists, skiers and people looking for adventure when on holiday and Garner Adventures has been lucratively helping people have fun through their business for decades.
In this book we are told a story of a woman who has always thought she was not good enough for one Garner brother so settled for another. After fifteen years of hot and cold it seems it is finally time for Deb Bennett and TJ Garner to not only see they are meant to be together but act upon that fact. There is some indecision on TJ’s part due to the bro-code as Win has been “with” Deb for so many years BUT eventually he overcomes not only that but a few of his other issues. What issues you ask? His touchiness about not making an Olympic team, his drive to make the company succeed at the expense of his own personal life, his mixed feelings toward his brother(s)…and perhaps a few other things.
This was a story that had many men seeing Deb as HOT but not acting on it because it was always assumed she would end up with Win. It was a story of Deb being in a bind due to her commitment to family at the expense of her own needs. It is a story of past beliefs and personal issues impacting the present. It is a story of coming into one’s own when finally given the chance – and taking it – to work to full potential. It is a story of friendship and community. And, it is a story of family and all it can and should be.
I am interested in Win Garner, the supposed womanizer and flake with a heart of gold, and who he will end up with. I believe it just might be Darcy after a few things that were mentioned in this book 😉
Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington-Zebra for the ARC – This is my honest review.
3-4 Stars
Deb Bennett is in need of some financial advice and with T.J. Garner being a CEO he seems like the perfect candidate to turn to, not only does he help her with her problem, but he also offers up some unexpected butterflies. At first she was a little reluctant to take it, mixing business with pleasure and all, but she soon starts to fall in love with her work, and maybe a little with T.J. too, which puts her in a tricky position, since he is the brother of her off again on again Win. Now she must decide if she should continue to wait around for Win to decide she is the one, or if she should explore the sparks bouncing around her and T.J….
T.J. Garner has never had an issue landing a lady, but the one he currently has his sights set on may just be the hardest one to land yet… mainly because at one time she belonged to his younger brother Win. For the last few years her and Win have had a little fling here and there, and she seems to want more from Win, but his brother doesn’t seem to be feeling too serious about her, and T.J. does. But is he willing to cross the line, and possibly put a wedge between him and his brother?
Between the pages of “Want You”, you will find two people who were brought together in a business sense, but soon learn there is more there than just a boss and employee relationship… they have some serious chemistry too. But exploring said chemistry could drive a wedge between brothers, ruin a possible future between long-time lovers, and complicate the lines drawn between business and pleasure. This newest offering in the The Garner Brothers series from Ms. Finz is sure to treat you to literary escape filled with angst, passion, drama, and some toe curling romance that is sure to leave you seeing stars!! I thoroughly enjoyed this one, the moment I cracked the cover I was pulled into this spicy little love triangle of sorts, and found myself quickly becoming addicted to the enthralling story line, and these wonderfully crafted characters, I just wasn’t ready to leave them until I had devoured every last word! I highly recommend you pick this one up, you will not be disappointed with what you find!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title
This is the first book I have read by this talented author, and it definitely won’t be the last one.
Yes, it’s a story about TJ Garner, son, and CEO of a sporting empire, and Deb Bennett, the on again, off again girlfriend of his younger brother, but it’s more than that.
Intertwined in the well developed and engaging plot and story of this couple , we get a story about family, honor , dedication doing the right thing, opportunities, responsibilities and of course love.
The author’s description not only of the town and the slopes but also of the all the characters and their interaction, draws you into the storyline and you feel that you are actually there with them.
My only regret is that I missed book one since even though it’s a stand alone, we get to know there must have been a good story to tell about Colt and Delaney.
Definitely an author to add to my list of favorites.
I was gifted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
I was really unsure whether I’d like the Garner Brothers series or not, considering how much I love Stacy’s Nugget series. HOWEVER, 3 books in — I’m HOOKED! I think I like “Want You” the best in this series, mainly because Deb is so easy to relate to — she’s taking care of her parents, struggles to make ends meet, and has her own set of insecurities that keeps her real. We saw bits and pieces of TJ in the first two books, but Stacy does a wonderful job of bringing him to life as an AAGG (all-around good guy) here. Can’t WAIT for the next book!
I have to say I wasn’t sure I was going to be happy leaving Nugget, but the Garner Brothers have won my affections. This latest book in the series was in my opinion even better than the first, but that could be because I was so glad to see TJ get his HEA.
I love the brothers and their relationship with each other. They may tease and argue, but they always have each other’s backs. I can appreciate that kind of family loyalty.
Can’t wait to read the next book in the series
I was given an ARC paperback copy of this book, and have a Kindle version on order.
