Lindsey Becs sure knows how to pack a punch in a book. Holy cow!! These characters gets will resonate deep in you and make you fall in love!! I love her writing and the emotion you feel behind every word and every scene.
The sweet and sexy combination will make you read this book over and over again. The insecurity and overcoming obstacles is one that stays with you long after. Lindsay astounds me because she definitely writes from the heart.
Jade and Harry are quite the match. They are an unlikely pair that are perfect match for each other. They are so broken and together they complete each other. The obstacles are big, but they overcome them with love and devotion. I loved Harry and his ability to overcome his past for the one he sees for his future.
This is an amazing 5+ star read you will fall in love with!!
Harrison and Jade’s story blew me away!! Harry’s been through a lot after a tragic accident that has left him in a very dark place. Jade has been through a lot in her life and she’s fought to make life better.
When they first meet things don’t go well eventhough there’s amazing chemistry. Harry’s not open to letting anyone in. Their paths cross a couple years later and Harry’s determined to hang onto Jade this time.
This story is filled with such raw emotion and my feelings were all over the place. The characters are amazing. Watching one full of darkness be pulled back into the light and all that these two go through broke my heart and then made me smile. This series keeps getting better!! It’s a phenomenal read and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves a heartwarming story!!
This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Harry and Jade’s story. Harry is in a dark place and is living with guilt, and he believed that he is not good enough for Jade, and believes that she is the lights to his darkness, and despite the push and pull between them she disagrees as she feels they are soulmates. When the connect again 2-years later, Jade is teaching him sign language, and he is determined to prove himself and get his girl. This is a beautifully written tale which is emotional, intense, and is a riveting and all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.
Ruby story is more than I could have imagined for her. Ruby is a strong person with her rough road to the end.The author made me feel every emotion ruby endured. I was shocked at who her romantic interest would be . I was so happy that Ruby got to have her perfect/ not perfect life in the end .
Where do I even start? Lindsay Bec has once again just left me thinking WOW! Want Everything is just perfect! I feel in love with Hate Nothing from the very start and it left me needing the next book in the series with some very high expectations. And Becs nailed it!!
Lindsay Becs doesn’t hold anything back with this book. It’s a sweet, steamy read and the perfect follow up to Hate Nothing. Harry and Jade are the perfect match, and I loved every second of their journey.
Oh, Harry, how I love him. He’s the broody, jaded man, with the heart of gold. You just need to find it first. Jade is sweet and sassy and brings out the good out of Harry. Jade is the light to Harry’s dark. Harry doesn’t believe he’s good enough for Jade, and of course, she doesn’t agree.
Harry’s growth in this book is amazing to read. He goes through so many ups and downs and still manages to come out on top. I truly believe without Jade he may not have come out okay. When Harry pushes, Jade pulls. She is his star shining bright and showing him all the things he can be and deserves.
Lindsay Becs gave us an emotional rollercoaster of a book. Want Everything had me hooked from start to finish. Becs doesn’t write a fluffy book. She gives us so much depth. I wanted to hug Harry and tell him he would be okay more than once. I also maybe wanted to punch him in the throat because I needed him to see he deserved happiness.
Want Everything is a 5 star must read! Want Everything was the perfect follow up to Hate Nothing. It’s clear that Lindsay Becs is holding nothing back with these books. She’s going straight for our hearts, and she’s not giving them back.
This gave me all the feels and put my heart through the wringer. I loved every minute of it but my heart is still trying to recover.
I’m at a loss for words to describe how good this book is. I loved every single second of it! Want Everything is the second book of this series but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone.
This book touched my heart.
Harry (Harrison) had it all. loving successful family, girlfriend, good looks. The sky was the limit…till bad judgement and a fateful night changed that, Then he shrouded himself, both physically and emotionally. Scarred both inside and out, he became a self loathing recluse, hiding behind masks and hoodies…feeling even more withdrawn cause he was also losing his hearing…the only thing that made him feel something was his DJing…enters Jade, a girl Harry remembers from his sister’s dance recitals, an elegant dancer. She was beautiful, enchanting and deaf. Even though their next meeting was a setup by his family to encourage Harry to learn ASL (American Sign Language)… upset as he was… there was something about her…something that woke him up inside… Fighting the attraction, torn between having her and pushing her away … But Jade saw him beyond his scars, making him feel normal again…Harry yields to her, letting her teach him sign… And their story goes from there…Harrison and Jade, despite issues, is a wonderful love story.
I really loved this book! Lindsay definitely brought her game and seemingly stepped out of her comfort zone to write Harrison and Jade’s story. I simply loved the characters. Harrison, aka Harry, aka Frankie, is so good in so many ways! He is a young man struggling with a severe life change. What do you do with yourself when you can’t even stand to look in the mirror? Harrison’s struggle is heartbreaking and complex. He is young and smart and talented. He has an extremely successful family who loves and only wants to see him happy again. Harry is angry and doesn’t have room for anything but that anger and self hatered. In walks Jade, a young dancer who is supposed to help Harry when he is at his lowest. Harry wants no part of it and pushes her away. There is a 2 year gap before they meet again. Jade has advanced in her dancing career and is still energetic and fun and kind. She has always seen the beauty in Harry and has always wanted to stand by his side and help him see it too. Harry cannot deny his attraction, his draw to Jade and seeks her help, which she kindly agrees to. Their intense attraction and shared disability take them deep into a love that seems to heal open wounds they both have. Jade is unbelievably supportive and understanding and loves Harry in all his forms. This book really shows readers that love can heal and love can save. I couldn’t put this book down and I applaud Lindsay because she really did her homework and made this a story you can live and breath. So many special and sweet moments will keep you smiling throughout.
This gave me so many feels especially for Harry. You can literally feel his pain throughout the entire book and it makes you hurt inside and just want to help him. Jade is literally meant for him and meant to be the person to help him truly heal I believe. The way that they are together and that they connect is what HEA’s look like. They both have their struggles, but together they can fight and battle it all. I can’t wait for the next book in this series which is Ruby’s story!
Harrison has a dark sole after a tragedy he was faced with. Jade is a kick ass dancer that loves a dark sole. She falls hard but being denied by Harry she decides to focus on dance. But after much fight Jades sunshine opens Harry’s eyes to the true person he is.
Lindsay gets me EVERY DAMN TIME! I don’t know how she does it, but I think her writing evolves more and more with every book. Want Everything was a lot different than the others, although this whole series is a tad different I think. But, different in so many good ways!
One of my favorite things about Linday’s writing is it’s depth. There is this something about it that almost makes her books feel more profound. And let me tell you, Harry’s book needed that. When we are reintroduced to him at the beginning there were so many things going on. We didn’t know the full story of what happened, but we knew there was a lot. The way she wrote him and his life, you felt what he did. But not just felt it, you felt it deep in your bones. Like you were one with the words and experiencing everything through his and Jade’s eyes. And Jade, wow this woman. I loved how Lindsay developed her character. These two were the perfect couple! I really loved Lindsay’s use of light and dark for them, because it was unbelievable apt.
The amount of darkness, sexiness and hope, absolute hope, in this book was astounding. She wrote about some very sensitive topics and did so in prolific ways. Everyone has a struggle, but the struggle that Harry had is so hard. And then of course Jade has her own, different struggles, and it was just so perfectly written. And holy crap the chemistry!! These two were so explosive! I LOVED that about them! I think this book had more heat than the others, and it was just so perfect for Harry and Jade.
Now, I am even MORE curious about Ruby and what comes next with the King family. There was so much growth in this book, but know there’s so much more to come with Ruby. Ruby is going to need her own healing and I can’t wait to see what Lindsay decides to do with her story!
If you have read any of Lindsay Becs books you will know she is absolutely an amazing writter! Although this book is amazingly different then her other books, this one involves a very troubled boy named Harry who has gone through a lot of struggles and still is and a beautiful girl name Jade who is deaf so we have sign language as well in the book!
It was such a hard and beautiful story of two people who definitely had life challenges and who are determined to come out on the other side!
Love seeing another side of Lindsay’s writting, I just get sucked in with all of her books and the characters she writes!
I hope this is not your first foray into Lindsay’s books. If it is, I highly recommend you start with the Always series, as you’ll appreciate this book that much more. It’s good regardless.
Harry is a complex character. Once gregarious and outgoing, a tragic accident leaves him a mere shell of himself. Hiding in the shadows and full of self loathing, he spurns his family’s efforts to love him. Unwilling to see beyond his pain, he pushes Jade off in a moment of anger. Jade is a friend of his sister, and is deaf.
Years later, the two meet again. Both are in a different place in life. I love how both characters have darkness, yet Jade focuses on the light. She is the perfect balance to Harry’s tendency towards the dark. Their journey is not simple. They have so much to work through. But the feeling, is intense and beautiful. A wonderful story of how to perfectly imperfect people find happiness despite all odds.
I read an Advanced Copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.
Want Everything is the unforgettable, un-put-downable love story between Harrison King and Jade Archer! He’s the former bad-boy son of the King family who’s sidelined by a horrific accident that changed his life in a split-second and she’s the beautiful, almost shy, graceful dancer who captivated audiences (and Harry) who sees him for exactly who he is (or COULD be!)
First off, I fell totally in love with Jade! She’s sweet, funny and knows who she is, where she wants to go and how to get there! Underneath all that sweetness she’s made of steel….and she has to be to deal with all the baggage that comes along with one Harrison King! When Jade is asked to “help” Harry to try to overcome his issues, the ensuing angst and emotion had my heart hurting and my eyes tearing up when he finally started to let her in! The contrast between his darkness and self-loathing and her light and joy is startling, to say the least!
The journey to Harry and Jade’s HEA is twisted and filled with road blocks but Ms. Becs did an amazing job of taking the reader through it all….and I LOVED every single thing about this angsty, steamy coming of age love story I can’t recommend highly enough! A MUST READ, for sure!
Want Everything is Harrison and Jade’s story, and it’s one you won’t soon forget. Something catastrophic happens to Harry when he is 16 and it changes him, fills him with self loathing, and a lot of guilt. He’s in a very dark place, and sees himself as all dark…then he meets Jade, she is a friend of Ruby’s and was asked to help Harry, well he doesn’t take to well to that, but there is instant chemistry between them. He doesn’t believe there is anything to like about him, so when Jade shows interest he keeps pushing her away..yet he can’t get her out of his head…fast forward 2 years and Harry and Jade’s worlds collide when they see each other again and this time Harry has no plans to push Jade away, as a matter o’ fact he slowly lets her in, and shows her the Harry he used to be…and that is all I’m gonna say about this book other than Lindsay hit a grand slam with this book and I’ve been able to think of nothing else since I finished, so do yourself a favor and read this AWEMAZING story!!! You will love it as much as I did!!
You will WANT to read this one!
Let me start off by saying this story can be read all on its own. BUT, you will have already meet this family if you at least read Poppy’s story. (Which is an awesome one!) Poppy is Harry’s sister.
This one brings forth all sorts of emotions…. Harry believes he is darkness. He also believes Jade is light and she’s too good for him. She doesn’t agree. In fact, Jade believes in soulmates and believes he’s hers.
So why does he keep pushing her away?? She can only take so much rejection from him.
Two years later there roads cross again. They start with friendship and with her teaching him sign language. Harry isn’t stupid though. Harry has finally decided to grab ahold of what he wants.
He wants Jade.
This one does have a happily ever after!
I HIGHLY recommend you read this one!
Want Everything is the story of Harrison King, brother of Poppy whom we met in Hate Nothing. While Royal King Racing in motorcycles, Harrison is more into the illegal street races until a tragic accident left him feeling like a monster. He has severe scarring and hearing loss, but has still made a career out of being a DJ.
Jade is a dancer at the same company as his sister Ruby. He’s met her previously in an ambush by his family to help him lesrn ASL. He sees her again at a recital for his cousin and he wants to get to know her.
This story shows two characters who strive to thrive despite their disabilities. It shows the emotional toll all of the family dealt with after the accident. It definitely grabs your attention and tugs at your heart strings!
**Spoilers**
Loved this story.
Lindsay had me turning the pages to see if there would be a happy ever after or not. I can’t wait to see what she does with Rubys story. I liked the little bits throughout the story hinting about Rubys story.
Harry was a very silly teenager who made a mistake and thought he would be forever dead inside. He hated himself. It was great to see him change so drastically and find happiness. I was proud of him.
And she does it again! Lindsay Becs knows how to write a story. The story of Harrison and Jade is just beautiful. Watching Harrison come back to life not for Jade but because he could finally see what she saw in him was poignant.
I loved getting to visit with the family and seeing how they are all doing beyond their stories. I think the thing I like most about this book and all of Lindsay’s writing is the importance of family, it is a common theme throughout all of her books, it’s done well and not sugary sweet, but honest and sometimes raw.
When all is said and done, Lindsay Becs knows how to write a great story, with drama, laughter and plenty of steam.
