A charming British hero, the woman who tempts him, and a hands-off arrangement that’s oh-so-hard to maintain. My bags are packed and I’m ready to go. All I have to do is board a plane, and I’ll be on my way to fulfilling a promise I made long ago. Bonus points — my last week in Paris looks to be even better when I meet a gorgeous, clever American woman and make plans to take her back to my flat … back to my flat that night.
But before we can get together for what would surely be a fantastic final fling, my boss hits me with a double whammy. My previous client didn’t pay, so the trip’s postponed, and the new client I now desperately need is none other than the tempting American I’m about to take home. Time to keep my hands to myself. And as I do, we get to know each other while we wander the streets of Paris together, where I discover she’s witty, kind and has a delicious zest for life. Trouble is, I’m taking off for the other side of the world any day now.
What could go wrong with falling in love in Paris? Everything, if one of you is leaving…

They say Paris is the city of Love. Well move over Paris because Lauren Blakely can conjure up love with just a few strokes of her keyboard! She creates love and magic with Wanderlust with a little help from two terrific narrators, Richard Armitage and Grace Grant.
I swooned, I blushed, and I felt like I was walking the streets of Paris with this audio. The story is the most romantic story that Lauren Blakely has ever written. Griffin now holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite heroes in recent memory. He’s real, a bit fragile, and a lot swoon-worthy. Joy is delightful! I adored her as a character. She’s vulnerable yet fierce. She’s a woman who knows herself, can be uncertain, but still takes the leap. Together Joy and Griffin are magic. The slow burn from friends to more was perfectly paced. Their chemistry was unmistakable and made the build up so much hotter. The best part was that their story left me with a smile on my face and a warm buzz of happiness in my heart.
I don’t have much to say about narration except that it was flawless! Richard Armitage blew me away with the way he fluidly transitions from English to French to American accents! He brought Griffin to life in the best way. Plus, his voice! *Le swoon!* Grace Grant as always was superb. She’s one of my favorite female narrators because she always nails all the emotions and gives the heroine a special spark only she can bring to the character. She also happens to have one of the best ‘male’ voices a female narrator can have. Whoever was in charge of casting for this audiobook deserves a raise. 5 Stars.
