Celeste
Our young love was marred by violence.
Our guilt destroyed us, fate tempted us but, it was he who broke us.
They say time heals all, but all time did was dull the ache of his abandonment.
Now, dressed in leather, covered in ink the boy I mourned is now a man—a man tormented by his demons.
In another life we were everything to one another.
In this life we’re strangers.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Wanderer is the second book in Janine Infante Bosco’s Nomad Series. The first book is Drifter but you don’t have to read it to read Wanderer. With that said my question to you is why in the world would you not want to read Drifter. All these characters play a part in each book and they are absolutely amazing. Wanderer is Cobra and Celeste’s story.
Cobra has lived two lives. One full of innocence and one full of sin. He had the perfect life as a teenager until it was suddenly taken away from him. He vowed to chase the phantom that sole his life. Revenge, mayhem and loss are all he knows. He is the wanderer, the lone man. His two worlds were never suppose to collide until they do and he finds himself face to face with the girl who got away. The girl he let go. The woman he will ruin if he stays…..Celeste. Their young love was marred by violence. Their guilt destroyed them, fate tempted them, but it was Jagger who broke them. They say time heals all, but that simply is not true. Time has done nothing to dull their feeling or their guilt. Now Jagger is dressed in leather wearing a cut and being called Cobra. He is a man tormented by his demons. In their past life they were everything to one another. In this life they are total strangers.
I am always happy to step into the Nomad world. A world that includes the Satan’s Knights MC too. How could you not want to escape into this world. After the bonus epilogue in Drifter I could not wait to get my hands on Wanderer. Cobra was a mystery and I knew he had a missing sister. Now you get that story and wow what a story it is. Cobra and Celeste, who was his sisters best friend, fell in love when they were teenagers and it was pure bliss. Oh my goodness they were so perfect for each other. He was a football player who wanted to go pro and she had dreams of being a journalist. They were so deeply in love until an act of violence tore their entire world apart and the chaos of it all affected them. Jagger changed, Celeste stopped living for herself as guilt ate her alive, until one day Jagger just disappeared. Left. Gone. Never to be seen until one day there they both were in the same bar and their worlds collided again. Now however Jagger is Cobra and Celeste isn’t the same innocent girl she once was. Her eyes tell it all and her grief is eating her alive. One night, a final goodbye and two years pass. Determined to not run into Celeste and now no longer a nomad but a member of the Brooklyn Chapter of the Satan’s Knights, tragedy brings the two together again.
I make it no secret that I am obsessed with Janine Infante Bosco. All of the books I’ve ever read by her have been absolutely amazing. I was hooked from the first book and in love with the world she has created that is one in which the mob and the MC are friends. And, Jack Bulldog Parrish is king. I could stay lost in this world for days and days. I never fail though to be surprised at how sucked into these books I get. Carla and I generally read the same books and review them. Bless her heart she reads a lot faster than I do and has to live though the Renee is having a freaking meltdown moments as I message her. I’m sure these conversations are hilarious because you would think this stuff is actually happening to me. You have to love a book that sucks you in so hard your in that world so deeply you feel it all. This happens to me every time Janine Infante Bosco releases a new book. She never ever fails to suck me in and just when I think I’m in this safe place…bam the rug is pulled out from under me and my entire world is flipped upside down. Wanderer is a book that had me in tears, like bawling my eyes out one minute and laughing the next, then the heart failure comes. I swear when you read this book and you don’t fall in love with Deuce you and I need to have a serious talk. He is hilarious. Cobra is so much more than I expected him to be. They way he loves Celeste is the way every girl in the world hopes and prays she is loved. Their story isn’t one that is pretty and wrapped up all nicely in a bow but it is the story that makes them who they are. A journey that spans their lifetimes and shows you the payoff is so worth the risk.
If I could give this book a million stars I would. I am going to be in a Wanderer world hangover for days. Just as soon as my heart decides to return to my chest and beat regularly again. Go!! Run! Grab this book. Find your sweet reading spot. I promise you will not be moving from it. You can thank me when you finish because there is absolutely no way your not going to love this book. You too will want to be Property Of Parrish. When it comes to MC books no one writes them quite like Janine Infante Bosco.
These Nomads are not your typical regular bikers, they’re raw, gritty, rough all the way through. They don’t conform to society like normal people, they don’t love like normal people. Their love is beyond consuming, you’re either in or you’re not, their loyalty to their loved ones does not compare, outstanding work Author Janine Infante Bosco
Wanderer is amazing! This is the second book in the Nomad Series by Janine Infante Bosco. This book tells the story of Cobra and Celeste. I didn’t think a love story could get any better than Stryker and Gina from the first book. However I was so wrong. Being fair to those who have not read this yet all I will say is that yes there is such a thing as a soul mate. Cobra and Celeste find this out the hard way. I found myself laughing, crying, screaming and then laughing again. This story like the first is about a biker and his club called The Satan’s Knights so it’s plot is full of suspense, drama, tragedy and violence but more importantly love. The characters you love and hate from book one are also in this story and you will feel like they are family. We meet a few new members who I am sure will be sticking around for book three. I know I will be waiting!!
4.5 stars for me. Second book in this series. This one can be read as a standalone but book 1 was also 4.5 stars for me.
This one covers the lives of Cobra and Celeste who were thrown together at 14 because Celeste was best friends with his twin sister. They experience young love that never dies even through pain, time and a lot of tragedy. There’s a ten year absence that isn’t solely due to Cobra walking off. This book made me sad and gave me hope because Cobra never lets Celeste push him away. This is not a light fluffy romance but the writing, the words and the emotions will drag you in deep. This book does take place at the same time that book 1 action was going on. So if you read this one before book 1, you’ll know all the spoilers for the first book.
Looking very much forward to the next book in the series
Wanderer is the second book in Janine Infante Bosco Nomad MC Series and it was awesome. It was action packed, and full of danger, suspense, and the twists will keep you glued to your kindle from start to finish. I liked the characters. I liked seeing some past characters from The Tempted Series. This was a such a great read.
OMG Janine, I thought you blew it out of the park with Drifter, to me Wanderer blows Stryker away. This whole book was so heart wrenching to me, it kept me on my toes & my heart in my throat. Cobra is a such a tortured soul that you can’t help but feel for him & fall in love with him. Blackie was my favorite but sorry Cobra is my new favorite. You will totally fall in love with him. There were so many twists & turns that I didn’t see coming. You can’t help but feel the pain all go through. I laughed, I cried & everything in between. Keep up the great stories, I hope this ride with Satan’s Knights never ends. Can’t wait to see what you come up with for Deuce & my boy Linc. I will be patiently waiting.
I loved this book!! While this is the second book in this series, it can easily be read as a standalone. The characters are so likeable and easy to connect to. It definitely pulls no punches and will have your emotions front and centre the whole time!
Jagger and Celeste had everything until his sister/her best friend gets taken. Jagger then with the death of his parents, Celeste blames herself for swapping shifts, and Jagger decides to get his own revenge on Yankovich, although this changes him into Cobra who is cold hearted. When going to meet a target he never expected to see Celeste, sitting with his target, he changes his plan to quickly get Celeste away from her date. Celeste thinks she’s seen a ghost when she sees Jagger who is now Cobra, after a heated reunion, where their chemistry is still there, Cobra tells her that she has to believe that Jagger is dead, and her life depends on it.
The two continue to meet and the chemistry is there, although Cobra needs to help his club with revenge for the bombing, but he wants to fill the days before trying to make Celeste smile. Thinking the Cobra is going to stay Celeste decides to let him know what happened last time they were together, and his reaction isn’t one she expects, and he has leave to go on a ride he doesn’t know if he’ll return from.
Cobra is a man set about revenge and making the woman he never stopped loving smile. They have a lot of obstacles between them, and they end up going through the worst and best pain that someone can go through with the club there to support them through.
Realising that he now has a reason, Cobra sets about living again. Then a meeting at the club changes everything when he hears the name of the one person on his list for revenge, and also has a new reason. This time though Cobra isn’t going alone for revenge he has his brother behind him and a whole lot of reasons to want it to end. Before they can even consider their own happy ending they go through the worst pain they have ever had, relying in the support of the club to get them through.
Although the story focuses on Cobra and Celeste, there are also other characters that are familiar, you see the story from a different version, you go through their joy, pain and heartache. Your kept wondering what is going to happen at the end of the book until the final page and can’t wait to see what happens next.
Let me start off by staying that this is a new author to us and we thoroughly enjoyed reading our first book by her.I recently discover MC romance and we are definitely loving it so far .We will be adding this author to our to be read series for sure.We loved Wanderer and we are looking forward to reading Drifter Stryker’s story.
I really loved these two main characters they were a lot of fun to read about.I loved this couple Cobra and Celeste and how they had a past together.I loved that these High School sweethearts got a second chance at romance and a chance for a happy ever after.
I always pick a favorite character in my current read and mine is going to Cobra. He just touched my heart as he had experienced so much heartache is his life that I only wanted something good to come his way for a change. My heart broke for him as I could not imagine losing a sibling let alone your twin sister. Then losing your parents within a small amount of time.I loved how he was withdrawn and dark and then tenderly sweet.I enjoyed his interactions with his friends and MC brothers and how supportive they were in his vengeance to bring his sisters killer to justice.I loved how he was toward Celeste always in protective mode.I loved how her carried a torch for her all those years they were apart . Cobra never stopped loving his soul mate even when they were apart.I thought that this was his most endearing quality he had.My heart bleed for him for the pain it brought him to do the right thing by her always pushing her away just to keep her safe.I loved the chemistry this couple had it was explosive right from the beginning pages.Celeste and Cobra’s sexual encounters were intoxicating and super hot!I enjoyed seeing the bad boy and the dangerous side of him but he melted my heart every time he just looked at his women and his daughter.
My favorite scene is with him and Celeste when they are waiting to see if their pregnant or not. These two were so cute together with their banter back and forth waiting that they made me smile.I found myself smiling quite a bit throughout this story.
Celeste on the other hand I found to be a bit of a fire cracker.I loved her sense of humor and how protective she was about those she cared about.I loved how she fought back and stood up to Cobra even when he was being an a** she never took any of his crap. This gal definitely held her own. These situations had me chuckling as these scenes played out.I loved how she mourned her lost love Cobra all their years apart.Celeste never stop loving him even when they were apart.I loved how she interacted and how protective she was toward her daughter Skylar.I admired her character she was a strong and independent women.I admired the choices she made regrading Cobra even after all the heart ache he caused her with all their years apart.
This story was a page turner for me from beginning to end with lots of little twists and turns. It had love ,romance, vengeance , secrets coming to light ,second chances, pain and suffering and the MC life element all the things that make for a exciting read.I loved it.I enjoyed getting to know each and every character and their different personalities.I loved how I was able to connect with these characters and relate to them.I loved being on Celeste and Cobra rediscovery and that was once lost was still worth fighting for.I loved how their love stood the test of time. They were such a cute couple that had some amazing sex that added that bit of erotica to the story to cause a girl to get heated a just a bit. (lol)Looking forward to reading the stories to come and getting to know the rest of these MC brothers of Cobra’s.A recommended read to all romance lovers.
5 stars. It was and amazing read we loved it!
P.S Would also have to point out that this story has one hot book cover and we love it!
After reading the first book in this series Drifter, I didn’t see how it was possible for you to write a book better than it, well Janine you proved me wrong. I will go as far to say that Wanderer is one of the best books I have read. This book made me cry, it frustrated me, it made me laugh and at times I just wanted to yell at you, the characters and the world for the hurt that this book was putting me through but then you gave me hope, faith and a love so big between two characters it was hard to contain in the pages. Jagger AKA Cobra and Celeste will worm their way into your heart and that’s where they will remain, you will feel both their heart and soul connect no matter where they are. Some characters stay with you forever and these two are those for me. If you want to read a book that will destroy you through heartache but in the end will make you whole this is the book for you. This book makes you feel every emotion known to man and then some. I literally cannot praise this book and the author enough for what she made me experience and there are not enough stars in the universe to rate this book. After reading this book I am happy to open my arms and be “Property of Parish”.
OMG that was out of this world. Wanderer is book two in the Nomad series and by far the best. young love, lost love, forever love. Cobra ( Jagger ) and Celeste story well have you balling, pissed, screaming and falling in love with them. And the Satan’s Knights has you back because your the property of Parrish.
Cobra and Celeste quickly have become one of my favorite romance couples.
This is a couple that when life keeps throwing obstacles at them they push through and come out the other side.
In this second installment of the Nomad series, Janine once again waves her magic writers wand and brings us a heart-stopping action-packed loved story. Cobra and Celeste’s story is not for the faint of heart, it’s gritty and unapologetic. Cobra is a badass biker seeking retribution at the cost of his own happiness. Leaving Celeste his childhood sweetheart and love of his life behind he will wander the world searching for the man who torn his family apart when he kidnapped his twin sister. The quest for revenge consumes him, letting Celeste go was for her own good. They meet again and passions ignite in one night of hot sex and tearful goodbyes. But it’s not over folks…no the universe and Ms. Bosco have plans for this couple that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
When they meet again years later, secrets are revealed and promises are made. Cobra and Celeste were born to be together forever. The true definition of soulmates. Cobra realizes quickly that he doesn’t want to let Celeste go again. He wants to leave retribution behind and have her in his arms. But our girl Celeste isn’t going to just fall at his feet, she makes him work for it. I adored her and I want to be her friend! She was awesome.
Janine really hit a grand slam with this one. Wanderer will bring you in and never let you go. At times you will cry, other times the steam coming off this couple will be too hot to handle. I felt every emotion possible while reading this book and I loved every minute of it.
If you are a fan of the Tempted series you will adore being able to meet up with the Satan’s Knights again. If you haven’t read the Tempted Series go and get it you will not be disappointed.
Every chapter flows, every word leaps off the page, twists, and turns, love, and laughter this book has it all.
5 stars!! Absolutely loved Wanderer. Celeste and Cobra were amazing. The history and heartache they shared at an early age, would they ever be able to make it stick? Could they finally fit the pieces together and make it work, or would life tear them apart again? Janine did an amazing job with this story. I already want Deuce’s story! (hurry up Janine lol)
Wow could this story have gotten any better then what it did. I loved it and couldn’t but it down for anything. The characters are super great. AS with any story from Janine I was shocked to the bones on how this one played out. I think from reading the other stories before hand I kinda knew of the characters and really couldn’t wait to see how their story was gonna turn out. The love and anger you could really feel come off the pages. The last few chapters of this story had me on edge waiting to see what was happening with every page turn. To say I was completely shocked with the ending and what happened leading up to the ending was WOW. Like not enough words can go into how I feel for what has happened. I was sad that this story ended I really could of had more of Celeste and Cobra, I fell like there story was just starting!! I loved it and have to mark this story as a MUST READ!!! Cover to cover every word needs to be soaked up.
