Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!! I freaking love these ladies! ‘No Wallflower gets left behind!’ The bond that these women share is not only touching but funny af!! Be who you want to be and don’t change for anybody, but the right person can enhance you, not change you because they will love EVERY facet. That’s the message I get from this……that and the fact that trouble seems to follow these ladies wherever they go!! However, they will fearlessly step in to help each other and those in need, in a heartbeat.
Bo. Bo. I just need a minute! This man, holy fudgesticks, this man, by his own admission, his life is grey, ordered, structured. Controlled. It how he likes it, how he guards his heart……and then he meets Sienna. Dark and light collide. The chemistry is off the scale but both are determined to protect themselves from the fall out, but at what cost? This one truly got me in the feels!
This book and the events that are in this book follow directly after the first book in this series.
So while each book features a different couple, I do think that the series would be more understandable and enjoyable if read in order.
For Sienna Miller she has spent her life chasing after love. The love of her parents, the love of her siblings, and most recently the love of a boy. However, after making a fool of herself and confessing her feelings for said boy on the wake of his engagement she’s determined to live through the characters in her beloved books.
But when the Wallflowers get together there is no living a quiet life. With these 3 girls danger seems to follow them around and make for a very adventurous time.
Bo Strawn has made a living in law enforcement and lives behind the law and organization. He never realized that the meeting of Calla, Poppy, and Sienna would turn his quiet and organized life upside down. To make matters worse, his attraction to Sienna is a problem he doesn’t want or need, especially when her behavior reminds him of his wayward mother who walked away from him and his father.
For Bo he will have to overcome his past and the fear that women who may act like his mother aren’t the settling down kind of woman. On the flip side, Sienna will soon have to discover that Bo may come across as bossy and domineering, but it all comes from a place of care and love… 2 things she grew up without.
Shit ton of stars. Such a great series, I honestly cannot believe it took me this long to read it. Wow, I have been totally missing out. I freaking cannot wait until the new one releases. This is the book about the second wallflower, Sienna and Bo, the hot detective. These two have so much chemistry, they were burning up my kindle, with her fun personality and his intense one….whew.
This book picks up where the first one left off. To say these three women get into some trouble is an understatement, they have the worst luck and they are the nicest women. But I’m not gonna lie, it makes for a funny and kickass book. Thank you C.P. Smith for that. These three have a little trouble find them, so Sienna and Poppy decide to head to a ranch of some friends of Bernice and Eunice, and unwind for their vacation…and that my reading peeps is where the real fun begins. Bo ends up going out to make everything right between he and Sienna, thank goodness our man’s kind of a badass…at everything. Eventually the whole crew ends up on this ranch because everything that could happen does.
Damn did I love this book. It was a safe read. No ow drama, tiny bit of om drama, just wrapping up loose ends. An alpha badass and his virgin wallflower. Funny af, with the same great supporting/secondary characters. I flove this group of people, they are amazing. Also loved the Helena Hunting reference, because I floved that series too. Some great action and suspense. And the ending of this book had me saying “I need the next book nowish”, cannot wait *grabby hands*.
Awesome series, it just gets better with every book
I couldn’t wait to read this book in the Wallflower series. In typical CP Smith style, the couple falls in love quickly, loves passionately and lock horns often. Wallflowers have a penchant for finding trouble and needing their alphas to rescue them. The couples in this series are stubborn and feisty but loyal to their friends and the love of their lives.
Sienna is broken because she’s never quite fit into her family, and when she finds out why her world is shattered. Couple that with the unrequited love she had for her brother’s best friend and the reader finds walls around her heart to rival Fort Knox.
Bo’s abandonment by his mother and the subsequent loss of his father keeps his heart locked up tight, but the headstrong Wallflower calls to his soul. A girls’ vacation at a dude ranch should have been relaxing but turns out anything but. Danger and suspense hijack the story and Bo, Devin, and Nick are determined to keep the Wallflowers safe, in spite of themselves.
This book hits all the emotions: passion, honesty, humor, trust, loyalty, suspense, and above all else love. Bo and Sienna’s story is steamy but emotional, and with the ending, I’m certain there will be more feels coming for all of the Wallflowers. I can’t wait for Nate and Poppy’s story.
