A billionaire who wants a perfect wife…At thirty-five, Marcus Carelli has it all: wealth, power, and the kind of looks that leave women breathless. A self-made billionaire, he heads one of the largest hedge funds on Wall Street and can take down major corporations with a single word. The only thing he’s missing? A wife who’d be as big of an achievement as the billions in his bank account.A cat … billions in his bank account.
A cat lady who needs a date…
Twenty-six-year-old bookstore clerk Emma Walsh has it on good authority that she’s a cat lady. She doesn’t necessarily agree with that assessment, but it’s hard to argue with the facts. Raggedy clothes covered with cat hair? Check. Last professional haircut? Over a year ago. Oh, and three cats in a tiny Brooklyn studio? Yep, she’s got those.
And yes, fine, she hasn’t had a date since… well, she can’t recall. But that part is fixable. Isn’t that what the dating sites are for?
A case of mistaken identity…
One high-end matchmaker, one dating app, one mix-up that changes everything… Opposites may attract, but can this last?

OMG, I love love loved this book!
This is not Anna’s unusual dark read. NO it’s much much more.
Marcus is a billionaire Hedge fund while Emma is struggling editor who works at a books store and lives with her 3 cats, surviving day by day.
This is a case of opposites attract. Their first encounter was hilarious.
I’m dying to see what happens in the 2nd book of the duet.
This book! This book! Has left me with one of the biggest book hangovers of the year!!! 5+ Fantastic Stars!
Anna Zaires’ writing hooked me from the get go! I couldn’t put my kindle down.
I LOVE Marcus and Emma. Their unexpected meeting, chemistry, attraction and intensity consumed me. This story is so much more than the cliché poor girl – rich boy, opposites attract story. It’s cleverly written, well developed and has some off the charts chemistry!
I CANNOT WAIT for Book 2, Titan’s Addiction!
The billionaire and the bookish cat lady!

Character development:
The heroine: Emma – works in a bookstore and has three cats that she treats like children. She hasn’t dated for a while and her best friend talks her into signing up for a dating app. Emma gets a message from a guy named Mark who also has cats that he loves and agrees to meet him at a restaurant for a date.
The Hero(es): Marcus – a billionaire hedge fund owner who spends most of his life working on growing his business. He is thirty five and wants a wife that will fit into his life and lifestyle with ease so he consults with a matchmaker who works with wealthy clients. She sets him up with a beautiful high society woman named Emmaline.
The Story: I’m sure you can guess what happens when Emma meets Marcus at the restaurant. Neither is what the other expects and they immediately rub each other the wrong way. Though when Emma storms out, Marcus can’t stop thinking about the feisty redhead.
The story was good and the audiobook seemed to be over too fast. It doesn’t help that it ended in a cliffhanger, but I did enjoy the give and take between the down to earth Emma and the New York power broker. Marcus had a set of characteristics he is looking for in the perfect wife and Emma doesn’t fit so he is dumbfounded by the fact that he can’t get Emma out of his head.
Marcus becomes a bit of a stalker and after finding out nearly everything there is to know about Emma, he is determined to get her into bed thinking that once he does that, he can move on to Emmaline or someone like her.
Emma on the other hand, also is thinking and dreaming of Marcus but she has some hang ups after growing up with a mother that was a user and a gold digger. So the fact that Marcus is so wealthy is not something she wants at all. While her best friend keeps pushing her to go for it.
The narration was terrific. The book was dual POV and the narrators were Sebastian York and Ava Erickson. Sebastian has a deep gravelly voice that is perfect for a dirty talking Hero. Ava Erickson has a very pleasant voice which fit Emma to a T.
I voluntarily listened to & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
A feel-good story with all the alpha male hotness I associate with Anna Zaires!
VERY BEAUTIFUL ROMANCE : surprising, funny, addictive !
Emma Walsh, 26, is a young single bookstore worker, found of her three cats, to the great despair of Kendall, her best friend.
Registered on a dating site, Emma picks up an appointement with a man.
Marcus Carelli, 35, is a wise businessman, going straight to the point, and having hired someone to find him the wife of his dreams.
Emma and Marcus are unknowingly having a date on the same day, at the same time, in the same place, with suitors having a similar first name…
Delays, quiproquos, Emma and Marcus get to know each other without expecting that they aren’t adressing the right person…
————————–
But what a lovely reading !
The author’s writing is emotionally addictive, the book’s scenario is funny and the characters are ideally found : the exact opposite of each other.
What a delight to read their exchanges !
If I immediately loved Marcus’ character, it wasn’t the same at all for Emma’s.
She often annoyed me by her mind-boggling behaviour.
Sometimes I just wanted to shake her (to put her ideas back in place 🙂 ).
There it’s a surprising book as I love them.
I will not have guessed it when I began the book.
This romance is a true treasure to read !
The cliff hanger end is absolutely unbearable !
Fortunately Anna Zaires has already planned a sequel : “Titan’s Addiction”…
I’m litteraly bubbling with impatience at the idea of knowing the rest of the events.
This is an absolute MUST READ (for fans).
For the sake of all cat ladies out there! What an utterly addictive billionaire romance is Wall Street Titan. I really don’t know why I haven’t read Anna Zaires’s books before. Her writing is flawless and so addictive. She is one of those authors who can pull the right strings to make readers fall in love with the story and the wonderful characters, adding all the elements that make you want more and more.
Finding new authors is a sport I love practicing and thanks to Give Me Books and a favourite author of mine I was introduced to Anna Zaire’s books and what an introduction ladies. It blew my mind and left me speechless! This book is the epitome of a billionaire romance. A dangerous blend with funny touches and steamy moments that made me blush. *they were so sexy* and the slow-burn-romance plus out of the charts chemistry added a special bonus that had me drooling over it. It was impossible for me to put down this book until I devoured each chapter that lead me to the most EPIC cliff-hanger of the history. My heart almost came out of my chest!
Everything screams perfection, from the sexy cover, who doesn’t love a handsome guy in a suit? To the tantalizing story that consumed me whole. I was owned and deliciously ruined by it. The pace is fast and the plot is brilliantly developed. The character are unique and intense in their own kind of way.
This is the story of a Wall Street billionaire and a cat lady, two opposites who are intensely attracted of each other. Their story is a funny and earn-it-your-way romance, unique and refreshing. Here, the heroine made the hero work harder for her love, and the process was a BIG tease. Marcus ad Emma make a very unique couple. Their interaction was astonishing and explosive! From the moment they met, sparks flew and the attraction was undeniable and strong. Both looking something safe and in their ‘comfort zone’, nothing like they found, a passionate affair born from a mistake thanks to a ‘dating app’. Attraction, love for cats, finding a wife and a series of funny and steamy moments made this a journey full of possibilities, a playful romance with enough drama and the angst relatively light until the last part of the book!!!!
I absolutely loved Wall Street Titan and I think Anna Zaires has outdone herself yet again. This book left me with the biggest book hangover that took me several days to get over. Everything about this book was 5 stars to me, the storyline, the characters and the overall feel of the book. I found myself laughing out loud and then yelling at the book, it sure made me run through a gamut of emotions. The way Anna Zaires writes her compelling characters has me falling in love with them, Marcus and Emma were no exception. It was such a pleasure to read their book and I can’t wait for the next book to come out, I already miss them. I highly recommend this book to everyone, it has it all.
Marcus is a man who has it all but there’s one thing missing in his life, a beautiful and successful wife. Emma works in a bookstore and loves her three cats. She hasn’t been on a date for longer than she can remember, so she tries a dating site. When they accidentally go on a date, they have nothing in common but their attraction is undeniable! Emma is a distraction Marcus can’t afford. He has dedicated his life in becoming a successful businessman and Emma is not wife material. All Emma wants is a good guy, who’ll make her feel safe. Marcus awakens desires she never thought she’d have! But can their relationship last? A romantic comedy that has it all, emotions, humor and witty dialogues! I loved Marcus and Emma, they are real people, with insecurities and a deep need to feel love and acceptance for who they really are. I can’t wait for the next part of their story!
What a read! I love when a story grabs you so tide that you don’t want it to end. Marcus and Emma story did that to me and now I’m just here wondering how soon can we get the next one. And what will become of Marcus and Emma. You Mrs Zaires just left me hanging so I hope we get them very soon.
Have you read Anna Zaires before? Then you know how well she can see the dark in this world and spin some intense tales around it. Now she has strayed from the dark to the light and sweet—and she did a great job!
Meet Emma, bookish cat-lady extraordinaire, and Marcus, big-shot workaholic CEO in search of a trophy wife. They nearly have a date, but soon find out that the universe played some intricate prank on them. Their short encounter is enough to light their instant attraction, which leads to some real dating.
Withstanding the constant judgement from Emma’s cats (those three fluff balls have a lot of opinion) and her immunity to his wealth, Marcus fights his way into Emma’s bed and her heart. But Emma is painfully aware she isn’t what he’s looking for—or is she?
In her usual excellent style, Anna Zaires delivers a tale of opposites attract with lovable characters, lots of humor, and a ton of crazy hotness. This book is sure to warm you up on a cold day.
Wall Street Titan is not a stand-alone, the story will continue in Titan’s Addiction—and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Anna Zaires is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
Wall Street Titan was an opposites-attract kind of love story with very high heat quotient between the lovers. This story featured some of my serious weaknesses. An alpha male with delicious arrogance, confidence and sex appeal. An adorable and sweet girl with attitude and spine. A slow burn yet scorching hot passionate love story.
Billionaire Hedge Fund manager and Wall Street hero Marcus has nothing common with Emma, a common nerdy and proud mama of three very annoying yet cute cats. Yet after their first meeting by a miraculous accident, Marcus cannot get her out of his head. Even if she is far away from his concept of his ideal wife. Emma feels immensely attracted to him even though his uber rich lifestyle makes her uncomfortable. And both of them are willing to take risk on a path written heartbreak all over it. This story ends with an evil cliffhanger and I cannot wait to read the conclusion.
Marcus is my kryptonite man. A super rich, super sexy, hundred percent arrogant and totally ruthless when he chases something he wants. And he wants Emma and he attacks his mission wholeheartedly. He can be incredibly sweet and caring in one moment. And the very next moment he will remember the reality of his career. Emma is someone unexpected for him. She may not be wealthy with shiny status. But she has values and morals. And most importantly she never wants to take advantage of Marcus. I am absolutely in love with this somehow shy, reserved, simple and honest girl. And I loved her even more when her sassy, strong and adamant parts came out. Their chemistry is red hot and every time they try to take it slow, it only intensifies. It was a fairy tale love story but the happy ending is not here. Yet. Their fundamental differences will make things difficult and I left the story heartbroken.
Wall Street Titan by Anna Zaires was steamy, passionate, emotional and intense. It was a modern day fairy tale with twists and turns. The dreamy vibe with edge of angst and heartache made this an amazing story.
Received ARC for Honest review
This book is fabulous! It is warm, funny and unexpected. It has such a great pairing in the aloof, determined Marcus and the wonderful, kind but strong, Emma. Marcus has a heart ready to be found and cherished and Emma deserves to be loved completely! Smart banter, hilarious mishaps, cats, books and emotional doors swinging open and you have all the makings of a perfect read. I cannot wait to find out what further delights are in store!!
When bookstore clerk Emma Walsh realises she’s a bona fide cat lady who hasn’t had her hair styled professionally or gone on a date in a year, she logs onto a dating app and makes a date with Mark, a guy who’s exactly her type .. kind, shy, self-deprecating and intellectual. Self made billionaire Marcus Carelli has it all except for a trophy wife, which is why he enlists the services of a match-maker for Wall Street’s elite to find him a smart, elegant, stylish woman with no pets who takes care of herself and goes to Sweet Rush Café to meet his match Emmeline. An excited Emma arrives early for her date at Sweet Rush Café and mistakes Marcus for Mark. What happens when Marcus turns into a caveman when he sees the curvy and beautiful Emma and orders her to join him? Note: this story ends on a cliffhanger.
Wall Street Titan is a funny, angsty and steamy story that’s absolutely unputtadownable. I can’t wait to read Titan’s Addiction, Book 2 of the Alpha Zone series
Emma Walsh, a recent graduate and still retaining her job as a bookstore saleswoman, that at the time she was still studying was a great one, kept her close to her big dream – to be a renowned writer; now all dreams seemed more like nightmares.
And to make matters worse, her best friend had warned her of something sinister: Emma had become the Cat Lady.
All because her life was all about pampering those three kitties she had adopted.
No real work (she also did some freelance as an editor); no dating; no adventures.
Ready to prove that her friend was wrong, Emma resumes her profile on a dating app and manages to make a date at a Café with a very interesting candidate. And the cool thing: he also had a cat and would probably understand why her clothes were full of cat fur.
But upon arriving at the Café and introducing herself to him, a shock. He was nothing like the blurry photo guy on the site; he didn’t like cats; he had a grumpy personality… but he made Emma feel things she’d never even imagined…
Marcus Carelli was an investor. He was not born rich and was very close to using his intelligence in favor of the criminal world, but thanks to a teacher who saw his potential, there he was, several times Forbes magazine cover as one of the millionaires of NY.
At his age, he missed having by his side a classy woman who knew how to host the big investors/clients of his office. And since he had no time to look for a woman of his own, he turned to a famous high society matchmaker.
She got the perfect candidate for him, and the meeting was arranged at a Café.
He arrived a few minutes before her and when a woman approached him, surprise! Not only she didn’t fulfill a single requirement he had asked the matchmaker, but she made his blood heat in places not good for a public place.
Emma was short, curvy, with curly hair and a surprising strong personality. And to make matters worse, her clothes had cat fur. And she had not one but three beasts.
Still, the attraction Marcus felt was immediate and before he found the perfect candidate to marry, he was going to taste some of Emma, get her out of his system and get on with his life.
Once was not enough and now he would have to deal with cats, a perfect candidate who came on the scene and a storm… all to make sure Emma wouldn’t get out of his life.
———-
WALL STREET TITAN is a hilarious romantic comedy; and for those who like cats, will identify yourself in many scenes of how these kitties can be moody and the truly owners.
5 stars
This was sweet, funny, sexy, and a great read with a hopeful cliffhanger ending! I loved the chemistry between the characters, it seeped off the pages. I could picture the cats, hear their purrs, and see their floofiness. It was easy to picture Marcus’ growls and confusion. Emma’s determination and vulnerability was so clear. I loved it and can’t wait for the next book and see where this goes!
She’s ready, it’s time to remove the rose tinted glasses and see her life for what it is.
He’s ready to take the next step and look for a suitable partner.
Enter one dating app, and a matchmaker service. What could possibly go wrong, … right?
Oh wow so much hotness behind the cover of one book, I think I need an ice bath!
One case of mistaken identity and the fireworks are lighting up the sky!
Fate intervened and destiny drove them back together when they both could simply of walked away.
She’s the crazy cat lady (stop imagining the Simpsons character right now!).
Her three fur babies are her life and she felt safe in the bubble they created.
But harsh words, and her big girl pants on means it’s time to step outside of the comfort zone.
He’s not looking for true love and this saddened me a little. He just wants an appropriate lady upon his arm.
I loved it, and chuckled quietly as the storm approached. Wild and untamed, to destroy his carefully thought out plans.
Two amazing characters that are worlds apart, but with a history in common come together to sieze your heart and lay claim to it.
Anna Zaires stole my virginity and ran off with my heart! Amazing!
I absolutely adored this book and I can’t wait for more. Yes, this is only book one in Marcus and Emma’s story and it does end on a cliffhanger. I thought that this book was simply terrific. In my opinion it delivers on everything you’d expect from reading the blurb but also delivers so much more. It is emotional, dramatic, funny, romantic and freshness. I loved these characters and I thought that they made an awesome couple that was almost too easy to root for. Trust me, You need to read this book.
Oh my gosh! I was hooked on this book from the very beginning! Emma made Marcus work for every inch forward and the process was a tantalizing tease.
When Emma has to face the fact that she is indeed a cat lady, she decides to dip her toe into her dating app possibilities. But when her date ends up being a real jerk, she high tails it out of there PDQ. Things are not exactly as she first assumed, however, and despite the attraction she feels for her the man she mistakenly thought was her date, things can’t progress. He’s looking for a sophisticated wife and she’s everything but.
I connected with Emma on so many levels. She is your girl next door, your best friend, or your book buddy. I loved her conversations with her cats and the way she generally processed what was happening and worked them out in her head. She may not have always been right, but I could totally relate to her reasoning. The fact that she stuck to her main dating rule made me love her all the more. Mostly because it was one of the things that drew Marcus even further into her sphere. She was cute, bookish, a bit shy, and absolutely perfect for this hero.
’With that dimpled smile, the little redhead looks so … adorable I want to lick her like an ice cream cone.’
Marcus’ criteria in a wife was by far romantically ideal and I immediately knew he was going to be twisted up by what this author was offering instead. I loved that he had to chase Emma and he did so in such a way that I fell deeper and deeper in love with him. A “mine” mentality is not part of his makeup, but the more he gets to know Emma, the more that part of him emerges.
’It’s impossible to be suave and seductive with the vilent hunger beating at me, demanding that I take her, that I do whatever it takes to make her mine.
If these were more primitive times, I’d have already thrown her over my shoulder and carried her off to my cave.’
This isn’t insta-anything, except perhaps attraction and I was completely engaged in how this couple went about developing a relationship. There is no deny the sizzling chemistry between them and while some might consider this a bit of a slow burn, it never felt that way to me. And once this couple come together, holy fireballs! Things are absolutely explosive! Whew! Talk about steam!
I loved every single thing about this story. The characters are each developed in such a way that I couldn’t help but cheer them on. The drama never heavy and the angst relatively light until the last part of the book. That’s when things take a decidedly anxious turn for both Emma and myself. I found myself keeping an eye on the percentage mark left in the book and them BAM! Gah! How did I not know this ended in a cliffhanger? And while I want so much more of Marcus and Emma…I’ve gotta wait for it!!! But no problem, I’ll just stalk the author until that time.
What happens when two people both mistake the other for their first date? Dating apps and/or matchmakers may be the key to getting a date but when Marcus and Emma meet for the first time they were not supposed to be each others date. Sparks were apparent but were they good ones? Marcus is a billionaire hedge fund owner and feels the only thing missing is a wife for social functions. His solution is to hire a matchmaker. Emma has been communicating on a dating app and finally they decide to meet and while waiting for her “date” to show Marcus sits down across from her. It is a case of opposites not attracting or is it. This was a fun and spunky look at how opposites can find a way to coexist and find a way. Will they make it for the long haul?
