Don’t miss the next book in the classic Stanislaskis series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts. Frederica Kimball has three goals now that she’s moved to New York City: find her own place, become a Broadway lyricist and get Nick LeBeck to fall desperately in love with her. Though Nick has always treated Freddie like a little sister, he can’t help but notice the strong, … strong, passionate and head-to-toe-gorgeous woman now standing in her place. Perhaps everything he’s ever wanted is closer than he could have imagined…

If I had known this was a romance novel, I would not have bought it. I started to read it nonetheless, and I almost quit it. I ended up thoroughly enjoying it. Nora Roberts is obviously a great writer and I am glad to have read one of her novels. I shall read more.
How would a woman handle getting the guy she’s always had a crush on to notice her other than as his pal’s little sister? An all to frequently used plot but Nora Roberts gives us a delightful rendition! It’s a part of the siblings each finding true love and a sweet read, to boot!
This book was fine. I can’t find fault with the writing, but I just didn’t connect with the characters as I usually do with Nora Roberts’ books. I had liked the Nick character in an earlier book, but was put off by him in this one. The lead female was also not a favorite. Disappointing as I had really enjoyed other books in this series.
I enjoyed the sense of family in the story. The characters were most entertaining.
Classic early Nora Roberts; not compelling enough for me to want to read the entire series, either.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was the hardest of this series to find. But, it was worth the wait.
I always enjoy reading Nora Robert’s series. Can’t wait to read the whole series.
Loved the serie of 6 books with the same family, highlighting a different person in each book!
Did not grab me like many of Nora Roberts do. Seemed to sugary.
Easy to read, a happy couple hours
All of Nora Roberts books are among the most well-written books I have encountered, She uses words well to build verbal pictures of her characters and situations that occur in her stories; not to mention that her stories are superb!
I find it difficult to put her books down, and I’m always sorry to finish the book so quickly. Luckily enough, I …
Loved the characters…
Good solid romance….and that’s getting harder to find these days. Liked it.
Any book about the Stanislovskies is a good read.
I had read the series when it was new and now am reading it again. Enjoyed it just as much the second time.
What a fun read. We are now meeting the second generation of the past heroes/heroines.
Love the whole series!
It has been several years since I read this book, but I always enjoy Nora Roberts’ books.
It’s Nora Roberts. I always enjoy her stories. This story is no exception. 🙂
I really enjoy this author.
