Dear Taron,I should have told you this a long time ago… was ponytail-pulling, ice down your shirt teasing, throw you in the lake screaming…
Strong, tanned arms and blue-green eyes over a heart-stopping, naughty grin…
Did I mention his tight end?
I gave him my first real kiss, my heart, my everything.
I said I’d wait for him…
I’m still waiting, because Taron Rhodes is still the man of my dreams,
And I have a secret that has his blue-green eyes.
Noel LaGrange stole my heart when she was only eighteen—pushing me off a flatbed and calling me a city slicker.
Her brother Sawyer would kick my ass if he knew how many times we made out that summer, how close we got.
Everything changed when Sawyer and I joined the military.
We were honorably discharged, but I didn’t go to her.
Instead, I went back to the city… where no amount of money, no amount of pills can heal this wound.
Only her whiskey eyes and dark hair, her slim arms and her sweet scent, give me hope.
I broke her heart just as surely as I broke mine, but I’m going back to make it right.
If she’s still waiting…
(WAIT FOR ME is a STAND-ALONE second-chance, military romance with a guaranteed HEA. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)

Tia Louise stole my heart once again in Wait For Me. My heart is so full of intense emotions, sweetest love and angstiest feelings. An epic love story that will make you cry, swoon, sigh and smile. The warm and fuzzy feelings will be right there along with heartbreak and suffering.
Taron and Noel has the perfect dreamy start of their relationship. They meet in the picturesque small town of Texas when Taron visits their farm her elder brother and his Marine brother Sawyer. Even after knowing he has to leave for his deployment soon, they fall hard for each other. But that tour broke Taron and changed him into this bitter, angry and vulnerable version. And he thinks he does not deserve Noel. So he breaks her heart. Now six years later, he is ready to fix his mistakes. Only he does not know a princess is waiting for him in the peach farm.
I am in love with Noel. She is such a kind, honest, simple and sweet soul. She holds beauty and compassion in her heart that lights up the darkest places. She is hardworking. She have so much to give and she gives unconditionally. My heart aches for her heartbreak and pain and the loneliness. And my heart is breaking for Taron. He was such a brilliant, charming, swoonworthy, sexy and full of life man. And then the trauma changed him and I can feel every ounce of his pain. I could not help but fall helplessly in love with him over and over again. And I have no defense again the doting, adorable, caring and awesome father in him. Tara Dove is one of the sweetest and cutest and smartest kid. I “awww”d and “ooooh”d so much. The chemistry between Taron and Noel goes through an intense evolution. It has the playful, exciting, soft and steamy vibe initially. And then comes the pain and tears. I am so glad Noel and Taron had the second chance as they are perfect for each other. Noel and Tara Dove healed Taron’s bleeding heart. And Taron made all their dreams come true. Their love runs deep and stand against all tests of time.
The words of Tia Louise will wrap you in the blanket of love, friendship, family bond, small town miracles and journey of self actualization. The soothing yet intense feeling is everything I crave in romance!
Received ARC for Honest review
Wait for Me is a phenomenal youngish love, second chance, brother’s friend, military read. You will just love Noel. She is strong and determined to show her older brother she can handle the responsibility of running the family orchard while he is gone. I love Noel’s bond with her brothers. She is just the sweetest and knows what she wants out of life. Taron is Noel’s brother Sawyers Marine friend. He is just has this way that will make you love him. There is that sweetness he has with Noel that will just steal your heart and wont let it go the entire read. I love that this is set up in the past and but takes you to the present and doesn’t just jump back and fourth. You get to see Noel grow not only as a strong women but and amazing mother and business owner too. Taron is incredible after everything he goes through and comes out on the other side all because Noel is always in the back of his mind. She makes him a better person. He is just so swoon worthy how he builds back Noel’s trust and forms a new bond with the entire LaGrange family. This book just steals your heart and doesn’t let go. You really need to experience Noel and Taron for yourself.
5 angsty, 2nd chance stars.
Wait for Me is the second in this new series of connected standalones by Tia Louise. I say connected because some characters from the first book show up here too, but you don’t necessarily need to have read it before this one- although you should, just because, Boss Of Me is that good!!!
Wait For Me is a second chance romance that’s set in the same world as ‘Boss of Me’, obviously, lol.
You can always count on Tia Louise’s amazing storytelling and it is displayed well here.
This is Taron and Noel’s story.
After having enlisted in the Marines with three of his best friends and completed their basic training the four now have some time off before being deployed, so Taron is spending the summer at Sawyer’s farm. Sawyer lives with his younger sister, Noel, who has just finished high school. Noel loves the peach farm and intends to make it even better once she finishes with college. She’s not prepared for how she feels when Taron steps into the farmhouse and into her life.
Everything changes at that moment, but Noel has no idea just how much it will continue to do so.
This was an angsty, at times heart-breaking story, but just when I thought I couldn’t take any more, Tia made it all better. Taron and Noel are a sweet couple who compliment one another well. I loved reading their story even if it did wreck me in places.
Fate drew them together, then tore them apart can circumstances bring them full circle and mend both of their broken hearts?
Can untold secrets and missed chances be turned on their heads? Will there be true forgiveness? One-Click this fabulous book and you won’t have to Wait For me, to tell you.
So, if you’ve read Boss of Me (which I have & loved), you’ll know exactly who this book is about. If you haven’t, you’re still good, it’s a stand alone, but why haven’t you? You’ll love it. Anywho, this is about Taron Rhodes. You get to see what his story is before he started his life in the military (and his life changed). He decided to spend the couple of weeks at Sawyer’s peach orchard, helping out with the harvest before they both deploy, when the love of his life quite literally fell into his arms. Noel LaGrange is Sawyers little sister, but quite a hard working amazing beauty. She’s family oriented, she’s dream driven, and just like that she steals his heart. I’m going to stop here because you need to experience the rest. There are heart warming & heart breaking moments in here. There’s second chances, hard work, and an absolutely adorable 6 year old little girl named Do e who will melt your heart!! I wanna tell you everything, but I don’t want to ruin it for you. You have to read this! You’ll love this!!!
Where to start and what to say to do about this fantastic read……
I loved everything about this book and it’s certainly one of my top reads of the year.
We first met Taron in a previous book Boss of Me and I was excited to find out he was getting his own story and if you haven’t already guessed this book was everything I expected and so much more.
I really don’t want to write a review that gives you the whole story because I believe you will get so much more out of this second chance romance if you read this story with no preconceived ideas, so I’m just going to tell how this book made me feel…..
Taron and Noel’s journey ticked all my boxes , it’s a beautifully written romance that had me connecting with this adorable couple on so many levels, it’s a love story that captivated me, drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat and it’s an emotional entertaining read that I recommend to all romance lovers.
Please one click this must read because I’m sure like me you will love everything about this book.

Wowza!!! Tia’s books are always amazing. Taron and Noel’s story did not disappoint!
A bestfriends sister, second chance, military standalone romance about destiny and the fight in finding (and keeping) your one true love, with loads of surprises along the way. Absolutely unputdownable! All the feels loves so grab your tissues and enjoy the ride. I loved this book! Full five stars and beautifully written.
Destined to be together…..
Throughout life if you are lucky enough you will meet that one person who is unlike any other. Even if obstacles have blocked your way to be together, if it’s meant to be you will find each other again. This is the story of Taron and Noel beautifully portrayed by Tia Louise. Their story is emotionally charged and it took my breath away.
I have always loved 2nd chance romances and this one was very powerful. Taron was everything Noel wanted. He was genuine, steadfast and very sexy. But he left Noel to join the military and came back a broken man. Taron could not return to Noel in this state, he loved her too much and he needed to get himself whole again before he could come back to her. When Taron did return to her there were a few surprises he was not prepared for. Would their undying love for each other get them through this or cause them to be apart once again. This story had me captured from the very first chapter.
A lot happened in this book. You have young, first love, brother’s best friend, military, second chance romance and one more I don’t want to say as some might view it as a spoiler.
I loved the setting of this story. I mean a peach orchard in a small town, what’s not to love?! Wonderful first and secondary characters (who I hope get books too!) Taron, Noel and their story was so well written. I laughed, I cried, my heart melted.
So many different tropes. Brother’s best friend, first love, second chance, with bits of military, this book is all of the above. Taron and Noel’s story has a lot of emotion, the ache of the siblings left alone in the world, the sweet, first love through Noel’s eyes, heartbreaking goodbyes, the integrity of the main characters, soul-wrenching loss, new beginnings and second chances worth fighting for.
Well written and paced with good character growth. Well worth the read.
This is my very first read by Tia Louise. I really enjoyed it. I’ve never read a military/second chance romance and wow, it’s full of angst, makes your heart clench, and has you in tears. Taron and Noel meet by chance because of Noel’s brother, Sawyer. Taron and Sawyer serve as marines in the military. One look between Taron and Noel and that’s all it took. But not everything is what you would hope that it would be though. Their journey brought on a roller coaster of emotions and I didn’t know if I would recover from it. Its beautifully written and worth every second of reading it.
Omg Tia has done it again. Another phenomenal read that will give you all the feels. Taron and Noel are a couple you won’t forget and Taron will definitely make you swoon. Dove ugh she is too sweet a definitely a show stopper. Brilliant story, with brilliant characters that everyone must read.
Woah this really hits you deep in your heart.
I love these second chance romances and this author really knows how to tell a great one.
At times it was heartbreaking to read but so real that I couldn’t put it down.
This is a very well written in depth story that will wrap itself around your heart right from the beginning and hold on tight until the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and if you love second chance romances, you will too.
I received an advanced copy of this story for an unbiased review.
I loved it!
This book was just peachy
I was really looking forward to this book. I was dying to know more about Taron. After meeting him in Boss of Me which is also an amazing book I just needed more of him. Wait For Me is an second chance and best friend sister romance. I luv both tropes so I just knew this was goin to be good plus anything I read from this author is brilliant.
Taron and Noel are amazing together they met while Taron was helping at there family peach orchard. Sawyer Noel’s brother and Taron were in the marine’s together and were heading out for duty. Things between Taron and Noel moved fast there attraction was insta. After spending a few months together they had to say goodbye. It wasn’t forever but they didn’t know what was around the corner for both of them.
I really enjoyed this story Noel is a great character I luvd how strong she was. Having 2 protective brothers around she held her own great she looked after them just had much has they looked after her. She worked her backside of to get what she wanted and when things were goin right she would fight some more. Noel just needed Taron to fight for her she couldn’t fight on her own.
I would highly recommend this book everything about it was great. I alway find that this author melt my heart with certain characters in her books and this book was no different. The story flowed really will I couldnt put it down once I started. Taron and Noel are brilliant character. There was an appearance from a few characters from other books which I really liked. There are a few characters I would really like more of them so I hope they get books. This gang is becoming one of my favourites from the author. I’m looking forward to seeing what she does next.
Wait For Me is a second chance love story that draws you in and captivates from the first to the last chapter. I have been intrigued with Taron since he appeared in Boss of Me and I couldn’t wait for his story and I was not disappointed in any way.
Noel and Taron’s story gave all the feels. It had love, angst, heartache, internal struggles, depression, and moments that had my heart bursting. I loved how we were able to read about their history and how it came to be. It added an additional layer to the story as we saw them grow and how the past impacted their lives. I very much enjoyed reading about these two and their journey to happiness.
Tia Louise is fabulous storyteller. This was a beautiful story of second chances and forgiveness mixed with an unbearable trauma. Heartbreaking and hopeful and full of captivating characters and smart dialogue. It’s richly layered, superbly romantic, and quintessential Tia Louise with that extra special dose of southern sweetness that truly sets it apart. I adored these characters and their second chance romance.
Ok, so I really loved this book. I loved the love story, the romance, the chemistry and the characters. I don’t want to give away too much of their journey together but its definitely a page turner. This book gave me all of the feels. It had love, angst, heartache, internal struggles, depression and moments that had my heart bursting. I loved reading about these two and their journey and will be reading future books in this series.
Tia Louise has given us a beautiful and poignant story about true love, everlasting love and overcoming heartbreak to be together again.
Taron knew the moment he saw Noel in her kitchen that she was special and deserved to be treated like a princess. She was an angel to him when he needed one the most, and he knew she was made for him. He tried not to fall for her because he was being deployed soon, but he hoped Noel would wait for him because he vowed to come back to her. Their courtship was magical, romantic and innocently passionate. Taron wanted to know everything about Noel’s life and he was her biggest cheerleader. He knew Noel would be successful in anything she pursued and he wanted to be by her side when she did it. He could see a life with Noel on the orchard and nothing would stop him. But what if something did?
No one can predict the future, but Taron knew in his heart that Noel was his future and the answer to his prayers. He was coming for her, and he hoped that she would welcome him and give him a second chance.
5 star Review Wait For Me by Tia Louise
There was nothing I didn’t love about Wait for Me. This was a great read and one of my favourites of 2019. This is a second chance at love story that will draw you in and captivate you from the first to the last chapter. I have been intrigued with Taron since he appeared in Boss of Me and I couldn’t wait for his story and I was not disappointed in any way.
Taron Rhodes, oh what a man, he’s brooding, a man struggling with PTSD, an alpha and he ticked all the boxes for me. Noel LaGrange is the perfect heroine for Taron, she is feisty, strong, sassy and not afraid to stand up to him when it is needed.
Noel should have been off limits, after all her brother is his best friend and yet there was something so intense between them that they took the risk. Until he and Sawyer, joined the military, left town and broke their hearts in the process. Now Taron is finally returning home, will Noel still be waiting for him? Or has she forgotten him and moved on?
Throughout this story, Tia Louise kept me absolutely on the edge of my seat as I read and cheered for Taron and Noel to get their happily ever after. An entertaining read that was also smoking hot and emotional. I loved how we were able to read about the history of their love and how it came to be, it added an additional layer to the story as we saw them grow and how the past impacted their lives.
Such was the strength of the writing and the fabulous characters, I was so engrossed in Taron and Noel’s story that before I knew it I had read until the early hours of the morning,
There were plenty of swoon worthy moments throughout Wait for Me as well as some drama and angst.
This book is a little gem and I loved it.
A second chance, emotional romance, unlike any other you will read.
Right from the beginning of Wait For Me Tia drenches you in big feelings. Her words rolled over me and I was completely drowned in Noel and Taron’s story. I knew immediately I did not want to be revived until the very last page was turned and trust me, the ups and downs of this story were so worth losing myself in one entire sitting.
From the very beginning you get the sense that Noel and Taron will fall in love and you know there will be heartbreak. What you don’t know is the magnitude of emotions that are going to hit you and the depth of which these two people truly love one another until you read it for yourself.
Noel and Taron have a young love – all encompassing – can’t think of anything else – whirlwind kind of romance. They go into it with their eyes wide open knowing that Taron is leaving for the marines, but neither have ever felt these kind of powerful feelings before so they decide to wait for each other, even knowing the danger he is embarking upon.
Even as they stay connected through today’s means of technology and through older means of letter writing and gift boxes, the terrible happens and they both are changed forever. I will leave the rest of the anticipation for what Wait For Me entails because you need to read this story yourself and get swept away like I did.
Wait For Me is both a story that is heartwarming and gut wrenching. It is filled with so many emotions that will pull at every heart string and keep you enraptured until the very last page.
