Dear Taron,I should have told you this a long time ago… was ponytail-pulling, ice down your shirt teasing, throw you in the lake screaming…
Strong, tanned arms and blue-green eyes over a heart-stopping, naughty grin…
Did I mention his tight end?
I gave him my first real kiss, my heart, my everything.
I said I’d wait for him…
I’m still waiting, because Taron Rhodes is still the man of my dreams,
And I have a secret that has his blue-green eyes.
Noel LaGrange stole my heart when she was only eighteen—pushing me off a flatbed and calling me a city slicker.
Her brother Sawyer would kick my ass if he knew how many times we made out that summer, how close we got.
Everything changed when Sawyer and I joined the military.
We were honorably discharged, but I didn’t go to her.
Instead, I went back to the city… where no amount of money, no amount of pills can heal this wound.
Only her whiskey eyes and dark hair, her slim arms and her sweet scent, give me hope.
I broke her heart just as surely as I broke mine, but I’m going back to make it right.
If she’s still waiting…
(WAIT FOR ME is a STAND-ALONE second-chance, military romance with a guaranteed HEA. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)

Taron and Noel have a connection that can’t be denied. Crossing paths at such a young age means forever is a difficult thing to expect. The thing is both of these characters definitely seem more mature than their ages when they first meet. Unfortunately, events that occur while Taron is deployed cause his life to take a more difficult turn for a number of years. When he finally arrives back at Noel’s door, everything for both of them changes. This book has it all, sweet young love, sexy intense attraction, heartbreaking angst and especially humor. I found myself smiling, laughing and sitting on the edge of my seat many times throughout this story. A fantastic book with characters that are so well developed! I cannot wait for more from this series!

Endlessly sweet and absolutely heartbreaking all at once Wait For Me is the kind of book that romance addicts dream of. Filled with swoon, laughter, tears and love this read is one you won’t be able to put down! I loved how with this second chance we get to fully experience both the past and present. Tia Louise did a beautiful job of bringing that together in a way that felt completely natural. Getting to see every side of Taron and Noel’s story made this book truly complete.
These two have that kind of instant chemistry that rapidly grows into a connection you just know is going to last forever. Their love is so sweet it almost hurts. Even when the worst happens that love still holds on and keeps you cheering for them. I honestly could not get enough of these two!
The prologue! The words are crazy powerful and descriptive! It’s like seeing color!
This story was so refreshing. Take the businessman out of the city and place him on an orchard for some manual labor and it’s perfection! In the process of trying to help out one of his closest friends before they leave for duty, Taron falls in love with a Peach Princess (well she almost was). Noel is a sweet southern girl who loves all things peach. I seriously wanted this book to have a scratch n sniff option to smell all the amazing things she makes throughout the story. Tia’s words are that vivid!
Things go south on their tour though and Taron comes back a broken man. He doesn’t want to make Noel go through his pain so he pushes her away. Little does he know a few years later what he’s walking into when he decides to leave the business world behind and try to win back the love of his life that he left behind…
This book is filled with so much love it’s crazy! You can feel it seeping from the pages. I wish I could read it over and over to feel all those first time reader feelings again!
I always love her books. They’re always so good. I love Taron! And his name! The story was such s great one and i loved that it was brother’s best friend. I cant resist those!

This small town, brother’s best friend romance will have you flipping the pages. The secret glances and touches, the fast fun fall in love, the long distance relationship, and the sheer pain of love lost. Tia puts you through an emotional wringer.
Noel is not a stranger to pain and heartache, losing both her parents way to early in life, Having to learn to step up and do her share to keep them together and help run the orchard. But she dream of love and the beauty it can bring with it once you have it. Determined to expand the orchard success with her new beauty products she has a mission, finish her business degree and open a store. She certainly wasn’t ready for the turmoil meeting Taron would bring to her life.
Taron didn’t grow up with much but he made his way through life without to many issues. Finding great friends was a help for sure. Making the decision to serve with them for his country was easy. Aside from his buddies, he always kept relationships light, knowing he was going away and didn’t think that was fair. That is until he met Noel and the pull to her was more than he had ever experienced. He tried to keep his distance, to keep his friend happy, but the chemistry had other ideas. How could he ask her to wait for him?
The fast connection between this couple is sizzling with chemistry. But the author does a good job of adding depth to the story with the reality of what military life can do to someone. The true challenges they face upon return and the hurt that it can cause others. Will love wait? Is it too much to ask? Will Taron let her help him back to the light?

Ever since reading Boss of Me, I’ve been curious about the rest of the men Patton served with in the Marines. Marley and Taron were secondary characters in that story. In Wait for Me, we get to meet a young Taron and the fourth of the group, Sawyer.
After getting to know preset day Taron a little bit in Boss of Me, it was a pleasure to get to spend time with him as a young Marine just getting started in life. I enjoyed watching him meet and fall in love with his best friend’s sister, even knowing how things(at least temporarily) were going to work out.
Noel, both past and present, was a breath of fresh air. She was a strong character who had survived and managed to thrive. I appreciated how she pushed for what she wanted and pulled herself up by the boot straps when push came to shove.
Second chance stories can be tricky. There is a fine balance of dealing with the past while trying to move forward and Tia Louise walked that line as close to perfect as I’ve seen in a while. Taron and Noel both handled their reunion and the surprises that came with it gracefully. It made me root for them to find a happy ending.
Wait for Me is strongly tied to Boss of Me, but is very much a stand alone. There are a few references that may not make sense to someone just joining the series, but they are fairly minor. I am very excited to see what is in store for Sawyer when we get to read his story in 2020.
Sexiness and thy name is Taron Rhodes! Noel LeGrange met her brother’s (Sawyer) best friend, she was not prepared for Taron’s hotness. Taron’s life in Nashville was not easy, so when Sawyer invited him to help at his family 100 acre peach orchard in Louisiana, it was a easy choice. Taron and Noel could not fight their sexual attraction for each other. Taron and Sawyer’s deployment is stressful for everyone. Noel and Sawyer know they have a connection that would last longer than the brief time they shared together. Taron returns from the military a different man after a tragic event. Heartache and disagreements tore Taron and Noel apart. Taron is back after seven years and he now knows how much he loved Noel. Will she be able to get through the biggest heartache of her life? Will he be able to show her that they belong together and will he get past the secret child he never knew existed? What a roller coaster ride of emotions but it was so worth it!!!
YES! Wait for Me is classic Tia Louise and I devoured it. This second-chance romance had it all. Some sweetness, some longing, some steam, a touch of the forbidden, some danger and a whole lot of feels.
I loved the first half of the book. The warm gushy feeling of falling in love for the first time. The hopes and dreams. But time was against Noel and Taron from the start. I liked that despite the circumstances they were facing, they made time for each other. Communicated. Stayed connected. Until that moment that changed everything…
Flash forward a handful of years and Taron is finally making plans to keep his promise. If only Noel will let him. Man oh man, was he ever thrown for a loop when he rolled back into town. But he was not to be deterred. I liked how he pursued Noel. Reminded her of all they were and could be. What’s more than that, is I loved how Noel made him work for it.
Full of feels and friendship, family and forgiveness, Wait for Me was a treat a minute. Noel and Taron’s second-chance romance had me yearning for the moment they would give into what they both wanted. And that ending…left me feeling lighter and smiling from ear to ear.
Starts with a prologue about Noel what happened to her in the past. ( I had tears after reading this section). Then you learn about Taron and what is happening with him. You learn how Noel and Taron meet and how their relationship builds and what they go though. It took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions! The story drew me in and I could not put it down till I finished it! I highly recommend this Book!!!!!!
Wow. I was blown away from this beautiful love story. I was drawn to these characters from the beginning of this story. Hell I fell for Taron Rhodes when we met him in Boss of Me. I loved the story that Tia weaved with romance, angst, heartbreak and second chances.
Tia gave Taron and Noel such a beautiful love story that will make you believe in soul mates and forever love. And we can’t forget that beautiful little girl Dove. She was so cute and sassy and just had me wrapped around her little finger just like her daddy!
You will be taken on a journey of lasting love and second chances. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll sit on the edge turning those pages faster. You’re kindle will heat up. You will love this book and will not want to wait to read it!
Another amazing stand alone romance by Tia Louise. Taron and Noel, what an amazing story, their meeting was coincidence but that changed Taron’s life and turn it completely. Being Sawyer’s sister has them keeping their relationship a secret, but Taron has to leave soon, would she wait for him… A must read, such a beautiful story.
Wait for Me is another Tia Louise gem! I loved Taron and Noel. I loved seeing the beginning of their story, how they broke and how Tia Louise put them back together!
This book gives all the feels and pulls at your heartstrings! Taron and Noel fall in love before he leaves to go on assignment for the marines. Noel’s brother is one of Taron’s fellow Marines. While Taron is away, Noel and him still have an incredible connection until something horrible happens to Taron’s team. When arrives home, he doesn’t go back to Noel because he is broken. She goes to him and he pushes her away.
From there Noel goes back to her life without Taron…. as Taron heals himself… he knows he needs Noel in his life. And he goes back to get her. And wow- what a story!!!!
This book is about forgiveness and loving others. It is about knowing your mistakes and growing from them. There a few twists and turns through the book. I could not put it down. I loved the characters and the story kept me wanting more of all of them!
First and foremost Tia Louise did an amazing job with the story-line and just the story of this book. This second chance romance was one of the best I have read this year! Having a military aspect in the story as well as forgiveness made this book all the better.
Noel is the middle child of three and also the only girl. She is ready to take over the family peach farm as well as expand it into something more. She has her mind set on the goal and only gets derailed when she meets Taron. The connection between this two is almost immediately and only grows.
Taron is one of Swayer’s (Noel’s brother) best friends. He wants to make something of himself in this world and figures that there is no better way than serving his country.
Will these two survive all that Taron goes through? If they do what about what Noel has been keeping a secret all these years?
I loved all aspects of this book and had to keep reading until I finished it. Can’t wait to read more of Tia Louise’s books.
Summer love has lasting repercussions for two strangers that had only just begun. I had high hopes for Wait for Me and Taron and Noel proved to be everything I thought they would be. Louise takes the heart on an emotional rollercoaster ride that can sometimes feel like sensory overload, but once you start the ride, your heart refuses to let go. From hello to goodbye, it’s a long, turbulent, angst filled road to where these strangers were meant to be, but by journey’s end, you may want to take the trip all over again.
Wait For Me was another great read by Tia Louise. I loved it. Second chance romances are one of my favorites and this book did not disappoint! I loved loved Taron and Noel. Taron was so swoony and Noel was sweet. Dove was really adorable! Definitely recommend this!
Taron’s plan is to go help his Marine buddy with the peach harvest before they are deployed. He doesn’t expect his buddy’s kid sister, who isn’t a kid at all. Noel is all sass and beauty. He can’t possibly get involved with her and ask her to wait for him. Or can he? But what happens when everything comes crashing down? Will she still wait for him?
OMG!!! I absolutely loved this book! Taron and Noel’s journey is full of passion, love, heartbreak, and forgiveness. I loved every single word of this exquisite book. My heart broke for these characters. Seeing their strength and everything they overcome in life, is inspiring. This is an absolute MUST READ!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Dear Taron,
I should have told you this a long time ago..
Dear Taron,
Is there a time limit on forgiveness? Is there is, I haven’t reached it…
Dear Taron,
I still love you…
A letter never sent. Heck, I never even finished it. Taron Rhodes was my brother’s best friend. He was sexy as sin. But he was more than that…He as a ponytail pulling, ice down your shirt teasing, throw you in the lake screaming…Strong, tanned arms and blue green eyes over a heart-stopping, naughty grin… Did I mention his tight end? I gave him my first real kiss, my heart, my everything I said I’d wait for him.. I am still waiting, because Torin Rhodes is still the man of my dreams. And I have a secret that has his blue-green eyes.
Noel LaGrange stole my heart when she was only eighteen. pushing me off a flatbed and calling me a city slicker. Her brother Sawyer would kick my butt if he knew how many times we made out that summer, how close we got. Everything changed when Sawyer and I joined the military. We were honorably discharged, but I didn’t got to her. Instead, I went back to the city… where no amount of money, no amount of pills can heal this wound. Only her whiskey eyes and dark hair, her slim arms and her sweet scent, give me hope. I broke her heart just as surely as I broke mine, but I’m going back to make it right. If she’s still waiting.
I am going to go ahead and just say that I loved this book. Y’all need to get it and read it as soon as you can. I am a huge fan of my brother’s best friends book and this one has everything that I love about them and so much more. Tia Louise has blown this out of the water and had me hooked on every single page that I read. This book will break your heart. However I promise that it will be mended and put back together and everything will be ok in the end. You just have to go through it with these characters the same as they are and the book is so well written there is no trouble doing that. Just as much as it breaks your heart, your going to be laughing and falling in love. I loved it and can’t say enough about it. If you are a second chance, brothers best friend loving book reader like I am, you do not want to miss this one.
OMG! Tia slays me with her stories!!! She makes me an emotional mess!! And yet I keep coming back for more!! This book is amazing! This is the story of Taron and Noel and it will take on a roller coaster ride of emotions!! It’s full of love. Love of family. Love that stands the tests of time. It’s full of mistakes. Mistakes made in times of despair, when everything seems hopeless. It’s full of hope, hope for forgiveness and hope for a future. You will laugh and you will cry and if you are like me you will wonder how you are going to make it through this story with your heart unscathed!! Loved, loved, loved it!!
Wait for Me by Tia Louise is the story about Taron and Noel, and this story was really good it is a second chance romance (which I LOVEE so much).
Taron is the new friend of Noel’s brother Sawyer and they met when they are young and starting a new stage in their life, he is in the marine life and she will start college soon, but they cant denied their chemistry and their feeling, so they start a relationship in secret because they are not so sure Sawtyer will approve it. is a relly good relationship where you can see they love each other for real, but the marine has a mission for Sawyer and Taron and they have to fly to another country and stay there for months. When they go away Sawyer know about their relationship and he is okay with it because they see their love is real.
Unfortunately something happened in that mission and things changed for all of them, so when they go back to the US they are different, and when Taron sees Noel he tells him he doesnt want to see her anymore, so she goes back home with a big secret.
Fastforward in the present Taron finds himself back in the farm helping Sawyer like in the past, but what he doesnt know and expect is to find out about noel secret. so now his mission is to have Noel back in his life and have their HEA their deserve with their family.
This story was so perfect and beautiful, i really enjoy it so much!! Cant wait to read Sawyer story.
