Dear Taron,I should have told you this a long time ago… was ponytail-pulling, ice down your shirt teasing, throw you in the lake screaming…
Strong, tanned arms and blue-green eyes over a heart-stopping, naughty grin…
Did I mention his tight end?
I gave him my first real kiss, my heart, my everything.
I said I’d wait for him…
I’m still waiting, because Taron Rhodes is still the man of my dreams,
And I have a secret that has his blue-green eyes.
Noel LaGrange stole my heart when she was only eighteen—pushing me off a flatbed and calling me a city slicker.
Her brother Sawyer would kick my ass if he knew how many times we made out that summer, how close we got.
Everything changed when Sawyer and I joined the military.
We were honorably discharged, but I didn’t go to her.
Instead, I went back to the city… where no amount of money, no amount of pills can heal this wound.
Only her whiskey eyes and dark hair, her slim arms and her sweet scent, give me hope.
I broke her heart just as surely as I broke mine, but I’m going back to make it right.
If she’s still waiting…
(WAIT FOR ME is a STAND-ALONE second-chance, military romance with a guaranteed HEA. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)

This is Taron and Noel’s love story, and what a story it is! OMG this book is the best, so far for me it’s my favorite. The raw emotions that the author put into this book surprised me. This is a fantastic book, it had me balling my eyes out. I couldn’t put it down.
I highly recommend it to anyone that loves a emotional, sexy, gripping romance novel! The characters in this book were so good, little Dove will steel your heart.
Now we wait for Sawyer’s turn at finding his HEA in “Here With Me” It comes out in April 20. I’m so freaking excited….I just love this author hooray to Tia Louise
Wait For Me was a summer-sweet romance. I was looking forward to Taron’s story after reading Boss of Me and this was it.
I loved Taron and Noel. They were so adorable together. From their first meeting to falling in love to all the messy parts that followed after, I was in for the ride.
And while I love Taron and understood the hardships he was going through, I am really happy with how Noel handled everything. That said, I was rooting for their HEA.
Wait for love
Gahhhh! Tia Louise got me again. I cried. I didn’t blubber but I definitely wasnt able to remain stoic. Wait For Me is emotionally charged and filled with hope, love, and eventually a hero.
I think heroes are best described by others, most doubt their status and Taron is one of them. Heroes also come in all different kinds.
I fell hard for a summer romance with the older brother’s best friend. I fell even harder for a man who owned his mistakes and came back to make amends. He was absolutely worth the wait!
Gah, I am still recovering from this book. Tia Louise wrote another absolutely captivating, deeply moving romance that I could not put down if I tried!
Wait for Me is a dual POV brother’s best friend/military romance with a slight age gap between Taron and Noel (the hero and heroine). I’ve long loved Tia’s romances and can’t think of any that I didn’t find worthy of five stars but this one truly held me captive—the plot, characters, and writing were nothing short of flawless. The chemistry between Taron and Noel was scorching hot. The inherent angst of the plot held me on the edge of my seat. And let’s face it—Taron was delicious, swoon-worthy and also heartbreaking. He’s got a charisma that immediately drew me to him—and it was fascinating to read the ease and intensity between Taron and Noel from their very first meeting. The story was perfectly penned, heartbreaking enough to make me cry yet also fulfilling enough that I read the conclusion with a grin from ear to ear… I don’t have enough praise for Wait for Me or for Tia Louise. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
This was a beautifully tragic, yet heartwarming read. Taron and Noel have an instant chemistry that they find it hard to resist. Noel has a hard time with her parents dying at a young age she has taken over as the mother figure but her older brother definitely is the father figure and takes running their peach orchard and making sure her and their younger brother are cared for very seriously. Noel’s older brother went to boot camp and became a marine where he met some good guys that became an instant friend and Taron is one of those. Taron is a guy that is distant but takes his loyalty very seriously but when he decides he wants Noel he doesn’t change his mind. They try to do the long-distance thing, but things happen to Taron while he is on a mission and he doesn’t return as the same guy, so he pushes Noel away. Noel feels like she is drowning, she is hurt, and doesn’t think she will ever recover from the heartbreak until one thing changes everything. It takes years for Taron to get out of his bad place and goes after his girl. This was so cute, and my heart hurt for both because they both hurt and endure such heartbreak, but I loved how things end up for them. The side characters were amazing, and the family dynamic was awesome. I can’t wait for Sawyer’s book.
A swoon-worthy second chance, brother’s best friend romance from Tia Louise is a can’t-miss-it story! Taron & Noel are everything together. It’s impossible for me to resist a military hero. Throw in the small town vibes and this story has it all!
Meet Taron handsome, charming and every girls dream. Then he meets Noel, pretty, gentle heart and motivated woman. As soon as you start reading you will definitely fee the tension between Taron and Noel. Your emotions will play a big part when reading this story, it just makes the book even better. As always I’m a sucker for Second Chance Romance and will always cry to a HEA.
Best Book I have read this year and if I could give more than 5 stars I’d give 100 stars and tell you that its absolutely a must read and reread over and over again. I absolutely fell in love with Noel And Taron and their story. This book was such an Amazing and Emotional Roller Coaster Ride and I warn you ,have tissues on stand by. I’m absolutely blown away from it. Taron Rhodes meets Sawyer in bootcamp and 2 others make up the group who are in a unit . Taron decides to join Sawyer at his family’s orchard for harvest ,but what he wasn’t expecting was to fall for his best friends sister Noel Lagrange. When something goes wrong while on a mission can Taron cope with it or will he let destroy himself and his relationship with Noel or can he fight his dark demons and find the light he needs to get back to Noel or will it be to late?
This book absolutely rocked my heart and crumbled it as if I was there and I found myself crying. Thank you so much Tia Louise for allowing me to review this absolutely fantastic . Tia out done herself with Wait For Me. I found several parts of the book that stuck with me ,but I have to say the best line for me as and rings true is that “Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself .” Well Done Tia Louise Thank you so much for Taron and Noel’s Story.
Oh my gosh! This is one of the most charming, sincere, sometimes painful, second chance stories I’ve ever read!
’I didn’t know which way love would take me, quietly or with the roar of a freight train. I should’ve known. I should’ve realized the moment I saw him.’
I absolutely adored Noel! She was smart and witty and extremely loyal to her family as well as Taron…once he won her heart. Determined to make her dreams come true, as well as proving herself to her brother, she worked hard to turn those hopes into reality. While she was dedicated to her chosen occupation, she remained soft, sweet, caring.
Taron never expected to find the woman for him while helping his friend out in his peach orchard. But when Noel falls into his arms, he knows immediately that is exactly where she belongs. However, he doesn’t run roughshod over her to get what he wants. His slow, easy wooing of her was perfectly romantic in every way.
I loved Taron even when life threw him down a hole that he couldn’t get out of, a hole he chose to hide in.
’Heaven is finding the thing you can’t live without and being able to hold it. Hell is knowing you’ll have to let it go.’
But I fell completely into adoration with him when he not only emerges from that place, but sets out to win his girl back, and then finds himself dancing with Angelina Ballerina. I’m sure my ovaries dried up years ago but Taron and Dove together were enough to bring them roaring back to life. TMI? Sorry, but nothing is more swoon worthy than a big brawly man with a tiny delicate little girl who calls him “Daddy”.
While this couple do have years of separation between them, and there is definitely moments of angst, it doesn’t consume the whole story. This is quite simply a beautiful story of first love and second chances.
’I’ve learned that love is a tornado, destructive and fierce and powerful. It’s also a butterfly, soft, gentle, beautiful. But to get to the butterfly, you must go through the tornado.’
Wait For Me was a wonderful second chance romance read! I enjoyed Noel and Taron’s journey, theirs went full circle from young love to adult love, there was some bumps in the road, but good things come from them! I enjoyed the other characters! Fantastic ending!
Taron is from Nashville but joined the Marines. After boot camp he went to Louisiana with his friend Sawyer to help on his family farm. He enlisted with his friends Patton and Marley and they were lucky to get the same assignment together.
Noel lost both her parents when she was young. Her mother was killed while walking one night and her father killed himself on the same road. Her older brother Sawyer had to enlist in the military but came home after basic training to harvest the peaches.
This heartfelt story was well written, the characters endured some very traumatic things but this does give us an amazing HEA ending.
This book was perfect. I loved everything about it.

What more could you ask for!?
I started reading it last night and only put it down to catch a few hours of sleep. Then picked it right back up this morning. I devoured this story and I cannot wait to dive into Sawyer’s book!!!
This story takes hold of you right out of the gate and refuses to let go. It’s three days later and I’m still thinking about this book. The first chapter starts with narration by the female protagonist, Noel, as she tells us of how her mother died in an accident, followed soon after by her father’s death when she was just a young child. Naturally, this event had a profound effect on her and on her two brothers. Throughout the story, we feel the ripples of their loss, the sadness and the strengths, and how the siblings support each other unconditionally. Make sure your tissue box is fully loaded when you start this book.
Noel meets her one love, her soulmate, when her older brother, Sawyer, brings his friend, Taron, home with him after completing their basic training as new Marine recruits. Sawyer must get the family’s peach orchard through the upcoming harvest and Taron is there to help. The two men have only 2 weeks of leave before being shipped out, but it takes way less than that for Noel and Taron to realize what they mean to each other. Their parting will have you reaching for that tissue box I mentioned. The author puts you through a series of suspenseful tragedies and near-miracles to bring these two back together for their HEA.
I believe this is my 4th Tia Louise read, and I’m still flabbergasted at how skilled she is at shaping stories and building stand-out, well-rounded characters that you don’t want to let go of when the last page comes. Wait for Me has a wonderful, completely realistic storyline. There is nothing forced or odd about the world the author has built. It’s like a good but old pair of slippers you’ve been used to for years—just feels so comfy. Noel and her brothers live in a small farm community populated with characters you might meet in any small town. Some are good, friendly souls. Others, not so much. Everyone knows everyone’s business. Most are good Samaritans who would do their best to help someone in need. The secondary characters really bring this world to life.
In addition to the tissues, you might also need a fan. The smexy scenes the author contrived for Noel and Taron are just. sizzling. hot. I’m sad to leave this book, but I’m going on to the next in the series, Here with Me. My rating for Wait for Me: 5 Stars.
Such a beautiful story. A wounded soldier fighting old demons from when he was deployed in the Marines. This story will blow readers away, there are so many beautiful and painful moments they will make readers think about what is important in life. Wait For Me is a beautiful love story with a brave, sweet, sexy hero named Taron that carries old wounds while serving his country. The heroine Noelle, is sweet, beautiful, independent and hard working. There some heartaches, painful memories, mistakes and forgiveness to be with the one we love. I absolutely love Wait For Me.
have loved every book I’ve ever read by Tia Louise, but this one was just extra special. This one is my favorite so far. Taron and Noel’s chemistry was off the charts, and I loved how Tia told their story. Needless to say, this book is highly recommended!
I love this book
This is such a great story.
This is the story of Taron & Noel. Taron was Noel’s brother’s best friend, and has Noel from the age of eighteen. Taron and Sawyer, Noel’s brother joined the Marines. He was gravely injured in the military, so he went to the city instead of coming home to her. Noel is part owner with her brother of the peach orchards her brother now runs since their parents died, in a small town called Harristown, LA. Taron and Sawyer come home on leave before going to overseas duty. Noel seduces him one night. Taron and Sawyer leave for military duty. Things happen while they’re there. Not one of the four friends comes homes ok. Taron is physically and mentally hurt, and Sawyer is mentally hurting. They come home, but Taron doesn’t come home to her. She goes to find him. They get together again, but he sends her home. Oh, but something comes out of that get together. He comes back six years later. This story has so many emotions, so much action, and so many tears. It breaks your heart. Everything works out in the end, but it’s definitely a fight to get there. Kudos to Tia Louise for an exceptional story.
Steamy small town, second chance romance with hot military man
Holy hotness Batman!
Taron falls hard & fast for his best friend’s little sister, Noel while on leave between bootcamp and his first deployment as a Marine to South America, working as a ranch hand for his buddy. As much as they try to deny their attraction, things between them are white hot.
War & distance tear them apart, but Noel never stops loving Taron. Seven years later with a cute as a button, blue eyed daughter, Noel runs into the man who’s haunted her dreams for so many years. The moment he sets his eyes on the precious girl with eyes that mirror his own, he knows the truth and vows to make Noel his forever in every way. Now if he can just convince the woman to give him another chance.
But not everyone in the sleepy small town is happy about this couple reconnecting. When tragedy strikes, will they be strong enough to stand together or torn apart for good?
I always forget how much Tia can make me forget about the world around me when I read one of her books. Wait For Me was a laugh out loud, sweetly sexy, highly emotional read. I was hooked from the first page!
Taron met Noel right as he was headed off to basic. The small amount of time they had together left a huge imprint on both their hearts. Unfortunately, the military may have been his downfall. Would he be able to find his way back and when he did, would she still be waiting?
Noel made a promise and set out to keep it. She would wait for Taron for as long as he needed. But would they be able to pick up where they left off or would her secret be too much for him to handle?
I loved how strong Noel was, she may have gotten side tracked, but she picked herself up and accomplished her dreams. And Taron… he made me swoon so many times! Wait For Me was the perfect brother’s best friend romance filled with sweet southern charm!
