From an award-winning author with more than one million books sold, a new series of four heartwarming historical romances about life on the Santa Fe trail. Note: each book can be read as a stand-alone.A life-altering betrayal leaves Donna Grace alone, unmarried, and pregnant. She’s desperate to leave St. Louis, Missouri, and return to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she grew up, and the only way back … the only way back is by wagon train. The wagon master refuses to let a single woman drive a wagon without a male escort. Donna knows she can’t trust men, but it seems she’s going to have to partner with one if she wants to get back home.
Luke Russell failed to protect his fiancée. Because of his neglect, she was murdered. He vows to never leave another person to face dangers on their own and to never again open his heart to love. When he overhears Donna Grace’s predicament he offers her a marriage of convenience that they will dissolve as soon they reach Santa Fe.
But the trail forces them to work together. The birth of Donna’s baby unites them in a way they can’t deny. Will the dangers and joys of the Santa Fe Trail break down the barriers these two have built around their hearts?

Write a review (optional):
I really enjoyed this book as it was a sweet story about a girl who had been wronged and an honorable man who was willing to go the second mile to help her giving her his name the ultimate gift. I highly recommend this book.
Was very good except was missing some pages.
Loved reading this book.
Great story and clean. But there are too many typing errors. Although it isn’t necessary, it is better to read the first 2 books together. I thought the author did a wonderful job describing what it was like to be on the Santa Fe Trail.
I enjoyed the description of the scenery along the trail. It gave a good feel for how life was traveling in a covered wagon.
This was an interesting book, with lots of twists and turns. The romance was always present but not overwhelming.
A trust in God appears when in deep trouble.
The characters seem realistic
I enjoyed reading about people caring, loving,& sharing life with each other. Most of all Luke marrying a unmarried pregnant women & the love they shared.
I enjoyed this book very much
It was good reading.
A delightfully inspiring read.
This was the first book I have read by this author. It read fast and was very interesting and scary too. What the pregnant Gals went through in the wagon train era!!!
Show love, devotion, concern for someone you really do not know. But still
needs help and support.
A great Christian read.
In this light read, a conniving man and an uncaring father set a young mother-to-be on a course she didn’t expect. How she faces the twists and turns in the road of life provides solutions to her problems, and she finds her happily-ever-after when she least expects it.
I liked this book very good story loved the history
Hard to put down.
Enjoyed reading this book
