From an award-winning author with more than one million books sold, a new series of four heartwarming historical romances about life on the Santa Fe trail. Note: each book can be read as a stand-alone.A life-altering betrayal leaves Donna Grace alone, unmarried, and pregnant. She’s desperate to leave St. Louis, Missouri, and return to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she grew up, and the only way back … the only way back is by wagon train. The wagon master refuses to let a single woman drive a wagon without a male escort. Donna knows she can’t trust men, but it seems she’s going to have to partner with one if she wants to get back home.
Luke Russell failed to protect his fiancée. Because of his neglect, she was murdered. He vows to never leave another person to face dangers on their own and to never again open his heart to love. When he overhears Donna Grace’s predicament he offers her a marriage of convenience that they will dissolve as soon they reach Santa Fe.
But the trail forces them to work together. The birth of Donna’s baby unites them in a way they can’t deny. Will the dangers and joys of the Santa Fe Trail break down the barriers these two have built around their hearts?

I finished the 2nd book and reading #3. Good entertainment reading.
Learnt that I don’t necessarily have to shoulder everyhing everyone needs people to achieve some goals in life
this book really takes you back to the trials of wagon train days , makes you grateful for the things we have today. such heartwarming characters with more courage than many of us ever have.
enjoyable
Interesting and balanced. I enjoyed reading it and look forward to the sequel.
Enjoyed the book. A nice, quick, easy read.
This was a good book about a wagon train traveling west. Through a marriage of convenience so Donna Grace and her sister can travel on the wagon train, a relationship develops in spite of their plan to not get attached. Life changes when we let ourselves allow God to work and bring about love.
Light hearted reading with a good moral story. Anything to do with wagon trains and pioneering I enjoy. The book is well written.
Very well written. Two people who have both been hurt find healing by trusting God and each other.
Riveting. Finished it in one day
Very much enjoying reading this book!
I had a free copy of this book, but this review is my honest opinion. I enjoyed the book and the story line. Linda did a great job with the characters and the information about the trip west on a wagon train with all it’s perils.
This was a very good read. Donna Grace finds herself in a bad predicament not of her own making. A strong woman determined to take care of herself with nobody’s help. Well, maybe just one person tho she fights it! Good story about wagon train life. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Really enjoyed characters and story line. Both suffered losses & fought demons in their past.
Historical romances, love them. I admire the touch individuals who set out in wagon trains to head out west. Loved the following books in this set.
The Wagon Train books were fantastic!
Good development of characters. It was a stand alone book but the characters and story line caused me to look forward to reading the next in the series. It had some action which a lot of historical romances lack. I found myself looking for opportunities to read another section of the book.
You learn about the hard life the pioneers faced relocating and the hardship of travel and life. You not only feel for the characters but hold your breath through the events of the life on the trail. The author included enough drama and fear to keep you going with the right amount of romance to warm your hear.
I love books about heading west with wagon trains, and this one was a good one, as it was slightly different than a lot of them. Nice to read.
Good Reading
