FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John is living his own personal nightmare. When the woman he loves, Allison Radcliffe, is killed, he devotes his life to tracking down the killers and making them pay for their crimes. He expected it to be a challenge. What he never expected was to find Allison very much alive shortly after her “murder.” As his anger and hurt mix with relief, Linc isn’t sure how he’s … he’s supposed to feel. One thing he does know for sure: he and Allison will have to work together to stop a killer before she dies a second time–this time for good.
Bestselling and award-winning author Lynette Eason closes out her Blue Justice series with a story that will have you tearing through the pages to get to the stunning conclusion.

I’ve loved this series from the very first book, the novella and the gripping conclusion. Lynette Eason is a writer that doesn’t disappoint. Like the others, the plot starts out with an explosive opening and the tension only builds from there. The characters were easy to care about and the story had enough unpredictable twists and turns to keep me guessing until the closing chapters. Excited to read this author’s next offering.
Vow of Justice is a can’t miss Christian Fiction Suspense read. I was hooked from the first page and I devoured this story in a matter of hours. I really enjoyed the angle of Allie faking her death and all the mystery that entailed. It made for quite an interesting story and it had a few surprises along the way! Linc and Allie were very likable characters and I loved getting to see the St. John family again. This series has been thoroughly enjoyable and I am sorry that it’s coming to an end. Although we do get at least one more story with Derek doing a crossover to another of Lynette’s series so I am looking forward to that one!
I received this book from the RevellReads and was not required to post positive review. All thoughts are my own.
Lynette Eason has come through once again with a riveting tale of suspense for her readers. The final book in her Blue Justice series, Vow of Justice features another member of the St. John family, Lincoln. Linc is an FBI Special Agent whose partner Allison Radcliffe was murdered – only she is still very much alive. Once he discovers the truth, Linc is determined to work with Allison to stop a killer and bring down a dangerous organization.
A brilliant plot soon reveals that there is much more at work behind the scenes and an unexpected, twisted killer has his own plans for Allison. At some point I actually began to suspect a certain character wasn’t exactly who he was supposed to be but I didn’t guess his true motives. I enjoyed reading more about the rest of the St. John family and loved how they all jumped in to help Linc and Allison.
Eason has outdone herself with Vow of Justice, a truly suspense filled tale that kept me turning those pages. I will miss the St. John crew but am confident that I will love the next series as well. If you are not already a fan of Lynette Eason, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Vow of Justice today. You may want to also pick up the rest of the series because you will probably want to read those too.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group. A favorable review was not required. All views expressed are my own.
I’ve spent three books and a novella with the St. John clan and looked forward to finally getting to learn more about Linc. And oh, boy, did Lynette Eason take me on a white-knuckle roller coaster of a ride.
Allie and Linc are great partners. They trust each other with their lives and are willing to face difficult things head on to protect each other. Even better, they’re friends.
While I figured out who was the cause of all Allie and Linc’s troubles early on, Eason still managed to throw a few surprises my way. And, of course, some of those St. John siblings jump in as back up. This is truly a family that serves and protects. More so when it’s one of their own in need.
True to Eason’s style, Vow of Justice weighs heavier on the action and suspense than the romance. But even that works well for Allie and Linc because of their history and friendship. It’s a love that’s built between them naturally and can weather the truths that change Linc’s knowledge of Allie’s identity.

This 4th book in the Blue Justice series was just as great as the first 3. From the first paragraph to the last it was action packed, and suspenseful. Even though I kind of guessed who the killer was, until the end I didn’t know for sure and the twists kept you guessing. Love the St John family, hated to see this series end. Feels like I’m losing some great friends.
I have been fortunate to have a few of my top favorite authors release new books recently. This final book in the Blue Justice Series is one I have been looking forward to. And as always, this author made the wait worth it.
This series revolves around the St. John family who most of are in some time of law enforcement. There are a couple police officers, am FBI agent, an E.R. doctor, the dad is a lawyer, and the mom is the police chief. Book one was about police officer Isabelle, book two about K-9 officer Chloe, book three is about Detective Brady, and four about FBI agent Linc. Sibling Ruthie, the E.R. doc got her story in a novella Eason collaborated with two other authors. I was disappointed that the remaining sibling, police officer Derek was left out, but was happy to see he will be featured on one of four novellas Eason is releasing in November, Protecting Tanner Hollow.
Only a true fiction lover can understand how you get attached to fictional characters, but I liked these more than any Eason has come up with in any of her other great series she has authored. Part of it may be the family dynamic, with the interaction, teasing, and even the help and support they give when one is in trouble.
Up til now, my favorite book in the series was book three, Code of Honor, featuring Brady St. John. Though I liked his character better, Vow of Justice turned out to be an even more exciting and suspenseful read, and a very fitting end to this awesome series.
A bit different angle in this was the fact that the identity of the bad guy was obvious. Well, at least one of them. That didn’t take away the suspense angle at all, and I began to suspect another character in the book to be involved…and I was correct of that person’s identity, but did not see the why or the direction the story went when that was revealed. The whole book was non stop suspense and drama, but I found the last fourth or so of it was the most intense and suspenseful. Eason really outdone herself on this book – well, the whole series. And though I guessed the identity of the other bad guy, I was still wowed by the way that all was worked out.
Also different from a lot of Eason’s books – and most Christian suspense novels – the couple in this book are already somewhat involved at the beginning of the book.
I am careful to not give spoilers away, so I will be careful here: I loved the ending of the book. The whole family is together…the parents, all six siblings, and their spouses and Linc’s girlfriend. You’ll have to read the book to find out what happens, but it was a very cool way to wrap up the series. But since the books need to be read in order, then you need to read all 4 books and the novella. 🙂
I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher. All opinions in this review are my own.
“Just remember, justice and revenge are two very different things.” – Linc
Lynette Eason takes the reader on another thrilling ride from the very beginning of Linc and Allie’s story. As the mystery unfolds and the layers are peeled back, you discover depths of betrayal that take your breath away and keep you enthralled to the very end. In Vow of Justice, will Allie get the revenge she feels her family deserves or will she be able to truly fight for justice as Linc challenges her to do? You don’t want to miss this next installment in the Blue Justice series!
I absolutely loved this book! Start to finish loved it! The plot of this book hooked me and kept my interest until the last page. I think Allie and Linc were such great characters and I loved their interactions! This has been my favorite suspense read of the year so far! Vow of Justice had multiple layers that I don’t often find in a suspense book. The characters had great depth and Allie in particular had a background that really played into the entire plot of the story which made things even more intriguing. I loved that Allie was smart and capable and while Linc was protective of her, he knew she could handle herself and allowed her to do her job without treating her like she was breakable. This book had enough danger and action to keep me guessing without going overboard into the super unbelievable realm. I thought that this book was really balanced with pacing, romance, action and suspense. It was just an all around exceptional suspense book and I am a little sad to see this series end. However, I am definitely looking forward to whatever Lynette Eason sends our way next!
I loved every book in the Blue Justice series and Vow of Justice did not disappoint. Full of action, romance and suspense, this was one I couldn’t put down.
Every breathtaking moment of suspense had me anticipating what would happen next. Even though I figured out the main villain about halfway through there were still plenty of surprises awaiting.
Each character was well written as was the underlying thread of justice verses revenge. Allie’s struggle with those issues felt real and had me examining my thoughts on the subject. Would I have made the same choices she did?
For lovers of romantic suspense this is a perfect book for you.
All of the books in this series can be read as stand-alones, but for more insight into the St. John family I recommend reading all of the books in order.
Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is the fourth book in her Blue Justice series. FBI Special Agent Linc St. John is determined to track down the ones who killed his partner, Allison Radcliffe, and make them pay for their crimes. What he didn’t expect to find was his partner alive! Now, he must deal with the hurt, anger and relief as he and Allison work together to bring about justice instead of revenge. Wow! Where do you start with a story like this one? I loved the characters. They were so down to earth and believable. They struggled with trusting God yet they kept on believing. One of the plot twists at the end was a great surprise. Didn’t see that one coming! It was a very fast-paced story with plenty of human interests throughout. I can’t say enough about Lynette Eason’s books. They’re Great!!!
I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
this is a good story if you like suspense and romance you will want to read the story, Linc and Allie are FBI agents and are hunting the bad guys . there are drones, bombs, bullets and the bad guys staying one step ahead, there are twists and turns some seen and other not. I was given a copy of the book by netgalley but this is an honest review
If you have been following this series this is Linc St. John’s, and if not don’t hesitate to jump in, yes, it can stand alone! I have read all of this series, and this one sure doesn’t disappoint, full of action and surprises come out of nowhere, there are so much going on I kept being surprised.
Life for some has very little value and Allison and Lincoln, FBI Special Agents, are really in for enough work for a life time, that is if they make it to the end.
I love the way this author’s mind works, and she has me riveted and page-turning for answers, and most I never saw coming, but you sure won’t get bored,
I enjoyed the epilogue, and the teaser of a new book coming, and yes I’m ready for more!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Revel, and was not required to give a positive review.
Vow of justice. Lynette Eason
FBI Agent Allie wanted justice ,their names Nevsky and Radchenko, was who she wanted to take down. She is working as a cook, a chance, and Darla a young teen, and daughter of this one crime boss. See’s her take something, asking are you looking for evidence against my father. Her partner Link is close by, to hear her, but is he close enough to save her, when trouble comes.
Her cover is blown , and with Daria a fight for life and justice. Fast action, great to know more about Link and Allie. Could be read alone, but good series. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion by Net
Galley and Revell.
This was a great keep you on the edge of your seat story. Surprises just kept hitting you, like bam, I didn’t see that coming moments. The author knows how to weave a tale that pulls you in and holds on as you anticipate what each page will bring. Highly enjoyable. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.

“Just remember. Justice and revenge are two very different things.”
F. B. I. agent Allison “Allie” Radcliffe has been diligently seeking retribution for the killers who destroyed her family when she was a teen; to the point of obsession, it’s why she chose a law enforcement career to begin with. After accepting an undercover role in the home of a known Russian mob leader, a photograph gives her the first clue that her much- sought -after assassin is still alive. . . . . . . .only she isn’t.
Special Agent Linc St. John is devastated when his partner is said to have been killed in a mob hit. Barely escaping with his own life, Linc channels his grief into action, only to discover that Allie is very much alive. Hurt and confused, Allie’s excuses for the subterfuge fall flat, until he realizes the advantage it has given them. Many things about the case aren’t adding up; time is running out, Allie’s heart seems to be closing, and the danger is as real as it ever has been, maybe even more.
With more twists and turns than a mountain parkway, readers will have to keep their eyes on the road for the duration of this book. Fast paced, adrenaline laced; this story driven plot has a lot to offer romantic suspense enthusiasts.
I received a copy of this book from Baker Publishing through Interviews and Reviews. The opinions stated above are entirely my own.
In Vow of Justice, Ms. Eason gives a thrilling finish to her Blue Justice series. This book focuses on Lincoln. Lincoln is a Special Agent for the FBI. After pursuing criminals during an investigation, Lincoln and Allison are targeted. Allison is his partner (co-worker) who he believes dies and who he also loves. His goal is to find her killer and during his investigation he discovers she really is alive. Together they try to discover what is occurring and who they are trying to find. They are in a race to outsmart the person behind all that is happening throughout their investigation. Throughout this book, the reader will catch up with the other characters in the series who help Lincoln and Allison. I highly recommend this book! You will not be disappointed. If you haven’t read the other books in the series, I would suggest that you read them as well!
***I was given a free electronic copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review. This is my honest opinion. Even though I received this copy free, I have purchased her books before.
‘At the door he stood to the side, then kicked it in. And came face to face with a dead woman.’
Lynette Eason has completely outdone herself with this offering in her crazy good ‘Blue Justice’ series.
Linc St. John, an FBI Special Agent is totally stunned and devastated to discover that Allie Radcliffe, the woman he dearly loves, has been killed in an explosion. Things, however, are not always what they seem, and Linc must find a way to cope with what is happening now. Allie and Linc will now have to work fast, hard and dangerously to stop a determined killer before one of them ends up dead for real.
Eason hits the ground running with this one and the action does not let up one little tiny bit throughout the book. Russian mobsters, tracking devices that don’t quit, one injury after another, not knowing who to trust, these are the things which make this book good. Besides, the great writing, of course. I was completely captivated and could not wait to finish! And the ending…..ahhhh, Eason ties it up beautifully. In my opinion, this is her best book ever! I highly recommend this one, folks. Don’t miss it.
*My thanks to Revell Publishers for a copy of this book via Net Galley. All opinion stated here are entirely my own.
What an exciting conclusion to a fantastic series! I’ve loved the time I’ve spent with the St. John family. There’s been so much suspense, so many adventures, and heart-racing moments. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it and am sad to say goodbye. Though I hear there’s a novella featuring Derek coming soon, so I still have that to look forward to.
Vow of Justice is finally Linc’s time in the spotlight. Allison, the woman he loved and thought dead is actually very much alive. He feels slightly betrayed at not being let in on the secret, but he sets his frustration aside to work with Allie to stop a ruthless killer before she dies for real this time.
Never a dull moment, Vow of Justice was an anxiety-inducing thrill ride that kept me thoroughly entertained and gasping for breath from beginning to end. I had my suspicions about a couple of things pretty early on, but wasn’t 100% sure until the reveal. This was one of my favorite books from Eason. And though it’s book four, it stands alone just fine. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and comments are my honest opinion.

Another great book by Ms. Eason. This is the fourth book in the Vow of Justice series. It can be read alone. The first three books are about the other St. John siblings and also great books.
When Linc finds out that Allison is still alive he doesn’t know who to be mad at. Allison or their supervisor for leading him to believe she’s dead. As the story progresses, there are several attempts made on Linc’s life. He has to find out who wants him dead as well as who caused the explosion on the boat that nearly killed them when the book started. This is a great mystery all the way and I highly recommend this book.
I was given this book by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.
FBI Agent Linc St. John and his partner, Allison Radcliffe, are pursuing a crime boss. Allie goes undercover and makes valuable connections, when something goes horribly wrong, and now Allie has a target on her back. Will they be able to bring down the kingpin before it’s too late?
Suspenseful and fraught with unexpected twists and turns, non-stop action and a complex, but easy to follow plot. I love the St. John Clan and how they come together for one of their own.
Allie is personally invested in this case in particular, because it brings up secrets from her past, and the man they are after is the one who killed her father. Allie is intuitive and incredibly loyal, but bent on vengeance.
Linc has loved Allie for a long time, but she has made it clear that she wants to stay friends. He is dedicated to his job, and he has a strong faith and relationship with his family. I admired his courage and faith, living his beliefs is very important to him.
Overall, a pulsing, heart-pounding read, engaging with non-stop action throughout. I liked the themes of the difference between vengeance and justice, as well as revisiting the St. John family. I’m a huge fan of Ms. Eason, but this one is a stand out for sure! Suspenseful, romantic, full of faith, and impossible to put down, with heroes that you can cheer for from the start.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
