They say it’s always the one you least expect … Andino Marcello made his choices—the right ones for duty and famiglia. But even the right choices have consequences. He’s never been more aware of that fact than he is now. The thing is, Andino isn’t the same man he once was. The mafia wants what it wants. He’ll push until they all break. Even her. They say love shouldn’t hurt … Haven Murphy needs … …
Haven Murphy needs to move on—from her pain and the man who caused it. But the faster she tries to run, the more things stay the same. She never thought it would end like this for them. The thing is, Haven isn’t the same woman she once was. The heart wants what it wants. She’ll fight until it all lets go. Even him.
How far will he go for love?
All the way to the very bitter end.
That’s his vow.

I think that this book was even better than the first part.
Andino and Haven stole my heart in this amazing book that was way too much emotional for me.But,still I loved it.
This book really showed me how sneaky and manipulative Andino really is,and I love him because of that. But for the most part of this book I was just mad at him.Mad because he hurt Haven so many times. He constantly pushed her away just to bring her back again and he lied to her when he really shouldn’t.But,he did loved her a lot and Haven made him do things that I think, even Andino himself didn’t know he was capable of.I loved how he carefully calculated every move he needed to make in order to get what he wants. And I really like how he made himself clear as to what kind of boss he was going to be(I really don’t think that Andino would ever learn how to be a diplomat).
Haven was such a strong person,I have to give her credit there. She loves Andino really hard, but at times I just wanted to scream at her to go away from him and hurt him in the same way he hurted her.And there was one scene where she really mad me cry a few tears,I was really sorry for her.But I can’t blame her for coming back to him every time.
Overall what I loved the most about this book is that love between Haven and Andino. It was so strong and so beautiful, sometimes hard and hateful but I was rooting for them really hard. They are one beautiful and amazing couple.
I really hated the Calabrese brothers,in this book even more than in John’s duet.
I definitely recommend this to everyone.
Andino’s life, his duty, and his family expect certain things from him but he is the character that only he dictator in his life . What he wants, he gets no matter what and who. .
His relationship with Haven, and the time constraints he faced in proving himself to her, made this story one hot as heck read.
Andino would do this all over again. He’d lie, and hurt, and ruin everything for everyone if it meant this moment right here was the same.
All Andino wants is a life with Haven. However, his life, his duty, and his family expect certain things from him – things that exclude the possibility of forever with her. If you know anything about Andino, you’ll know that he is the only dictator in his life that matters. What he wants, he gets… by any means necessary. Nothing was going to stop him and neither the boss nor a possible war would stand in his way.
I loved how masterful and manipulative Andino was. He knew what he wanted, he knew how to achieve his goals, and he set his plans in motion. For the most part, we the reader and most of the characters had no clue what he was up to and it was like unfolding a little bit of mystery along the way. The forbidden element of his relationship with Haven, and the time constraints he faced in proving himself to her, made this story one hot as heck read. Despite the pain and anguish they both faced, I held onto the knowledge that they would get their happy ending.
Andino would do this all over again. He’d lie, and hurt, and ruin everything for everyone if it meant this moment right here was the same.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve tried to get your hands on as many stories by Bethany-Kris as possible. If so, you’ll know exactly what happens with Andino and Haven. And yet, this story has continued to surprise me at every turn. Sometimes it’s not the end of the journey that counts, but the road taken to get there.
Vow. A vow can be said with many words, one word, or even a look. It can be made in the midst of a ceremony and a crowd or between two people alone in this world. Regardless of when and where it takes place, a vow has weight. It is not a flippant comment or an unintentional thing. A vow is a solemn promise. It may be made because of intense emotion. It may be uttered due to a sense of duty. It doesn’t matter why; it matters because it is a purposeful and deliberate act.
Vow is exactly that; this novel is intentionally purposeful and methodically deliberate. Andino may seem off the cuff but absolutely nothing about this man is flippant. He acts. He conquers. He is deliberate. His love and relationship with the tattooed business owner may seem like a dalliance. It may even seem like they are fooling themselves but I Vow that you will understand just how deliberate ever action was, how every reaction is dealt with, and how Andino Marcello always gets what he wants.
Heaven and Hell be damned. He would not even let them deign to ruin his plans. After all, this is his kingdom and she…his Queen.
Vow is a whirlwind of anger, hurt, and love. It is impossible not to be swept up into the feelings, the chaos, and the heart breaking soul crushing reality. At least, we as the reader, can enjoy both sides of this complex puzzle. It is a saving grace for the empathetic reader!
I loved Vow. I loved Duty. I think I’m even more excited for One Last Time.
Title: Vow Andino & Haven Book 2
Author: Bethany-Kris
Publication Date: November 5, 2018
Andino’s single minded decisions to end the Calabreses and keep the woman he loves is not without risk or violence. While he is working to get what he wants Haven’s heart is being battered.
Dante has no problem sacrificing Andino’s future and happiness to end things on his terms. While others in the family don’t agree Andino is confident his plan will work.
I couldn’t figure out how Andino was going to pull off not having to honor the deal he made with the Calabreses without bloodshed, but man oh man did he ever.
Is this the end of the Marcello legacy?
I love this author she writes the best crime family novels and never disappoints.
Vow is the conclusion of Andino and Havens story. And what a story it is. We begin a little later after the last book. Everyone is heartbroken and falling apart. Now the question is how will everyone heal?
Andino has made his choice, and Haven has to come to terms with that. But you will find while reading this story that love is never easy. and that emotions are sticky and not rational.
I had a hard time with the back and forth and watching Haven (her being such a strong character) go back to Andino continually. BUT as always there is a reason for everything. BK writes an amazing story that gives us a happy ending between Andino and Haven but wanting more in the overall story.
“Every inhale burned.
“Every exhale ached.”
Bethany-Kris always brings perfection into her stories. Whether it is a mafia contemporary romance with the feels or a thrilling mafia with tons of action, she delivers every single time. I was holding my breath. Reading Duty, straight up killed me. Well, Vow wrapped every single moment with a brilliant and satisfying bow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Vow was absolutely ELECTRIFYING. The drama. The suspense. The action. The pent-up tension. Vow knocked it out of the park. A home run in mafia romance. A stunning storyline with amazing characters and sublime scenes meant to capture you. The first sentence, I was tantalized. The first paragraph, I was breathless. The first page, I was speechless. Written with so much passion and fire, Vow is definitely one of my favourite mafia book of 2018.
Vow is the anticipated conclusion to Andino and Haven’s story. I waited for this book after the cliff-hanger that broke my heart into pieces. Vow completed my soul. Vow mended all the broken pieces of my heart. The storyline gripped me. The characters transfixed me. The scenes so intense and pulsing with heat and thrills. I felt the emotions. I felt the fire. I felt the angst. I felt the mayhem. Deep in my heart. Deep in my soul. Vow is a fantastic story of love, hope, respect and family oaths. A story with manipulations and plotting. A story with an abundance of chaos and edge of your seat intense moments. A story that explores an exciting and explosive last chapter to an emotional and heart tingling love between Andino and Haven. Bethany-Kris always proves to me that she has a creative touch. Every mafia book just radiates magic and power till you feel. I feel her words. They speak to me. They hypnotize. They creep into my heart and make me fall in love with them. In that moment, Vow touched my heart.
Seriously Andino and Haven are one of my favourite couples after Cross and Catherine in all the Legacy books. In their thoughts and feelings, you could just feel the love, pain and sacrifice they went through together as a couple. Haven is a headstrong woman. A woman with a stubborn streak and a mind of her own. You feel her frustrations. You feel her hurt. You feel her flaws. Absolutely adored her development as a character and an equal to Andino. Andino has a powerful mind. First of all, he is a protector. Protects his family. Protects Haven with all his might. His mind absolutely made me giddy. His manipulations. His secrets. His mannerisms. An absolute delight. Andino has too many layers and it was so amazing to get to unwrap every layer.
Vow is definitely on my list of favourite Bethany-Kris books. I ended the duet with a huge smile on my face and satisfied look. I am ready for more Legacy books.
Vow is the stunning conclusion Andino and Haven’s story. And I must say that it is beyond what I have ever expected and a whole lot more!
As a huge fan of Bethany-Kris’ works, I have naturally been so invested with the characters from the Legacy series. But what’s so great about her books is that her plot will never fail to surprise you at every turn.
Andino and Haven hit a few bumps in the road before they got their happily ever after but I was rooting for them all this time. So it was such a sweet conclusion to a story that I have grown to love ever since I’ve been introduced to this couple.
The push and pull between these two characters all throughout the book is so raw and gripping that there will come a time that you are torn between the two of them.
In the end, what I especially love most about the book is that Andino has finally found the right balance between fulfilling his duty as the Marcello boss and his own happiness. I do think that Andino is one of the most compelling characters that Bethany-Kris has ever written. You will be at awe at his ruthless personality but at the same time, that will just make you love him more.
Vow is the than awaiting conclusion to Andino & Haven’s intense and exhilarating journey! The story is well-developed, and well thought; with a great twists plot, that will keep you turning the pages non-stop and at the edge of your seat. There is a well balance amount of heartache, suspense, action, drama, danger, angst, passion, romance and much more!
Even though their connection is undeniable, Andino’s duty forces them apart, but for how long? OMG, this was an outstanding duet, the only little problem for me, is that the ending felt a little rush. I just wanted more, I guess. (I’m greedy that way)
All in all, I really enjoyed this duet and can’t wait for what comes next!!
This is the conclusion to Andino and Haven’s story. Andino has made his choices for the family. He let the only woman he cares about go because of duty. Now he is determined to keep his vow and nothing will stand in his way. I liked seeing how his mind worked and how he let nothing get in his way. Haven has tried to move on from the man who crushed her and destroyed her heart. The couple can’t stay away from each other. Will things work out or take a turn for the worse? Another great mafia read.
Vow is the conclusion of Andino and Haven’s story, well sort of. I mean, we get answers to some of our questions and we continue the path that John and Sienna’s story runs. I enjoy the way the writer keeps our interest with drama and suspense and especially the way Andino and Haven can’t stay away from each other. We have all been in Haven’s shoes. We want to be strong but there’s that one person that will cause us pain that leaves us broken. Haven is finally ready to move on, but no one asked Andino if it was okay for her to. I love the romance, the heartache, the tenderness and the way of the Mafia family. I really enjoyed how even though we have Andino and Haven’s story, we are left waiting for more.
This is the second book in this awesome series, and Duty must be read before this one. This story carries straight on from the aftermath of the cliffy at the end of #1. Andino had no choice in the direction his life has taken, and is caught in the middle of doing his duty for the familia, and Haven. Haven is broken hearted, and is torn about having a life with a complex Andino, or moving on. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written flawless story, which is filled with angst, drama, danger, emotion, and love, which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all readers.
A vow is a promise or oath…… and Andino Marcello has taken a vow of duty, respect and honor for the Marcello Family. He has been tapped to become the next Boss but at what cost does his vow to the Family cost him. The conclusion to Andino and Haven’s love story isn’t for the faint of heart. There is angst, manipulation, heartbreak, hope and eventually love. Bethany Kris and her talented and spirited words create magic and mayhem in Vow that had me addicted to my kindle.
This story has much depth and passion. Andino Marcello is ruthless and has no fear in doing exactly as he wishes. He knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. He’s manipulative, he’s cunning, he’s ruthless yet he’s a man of honor and duty. He loves his family and will do what He thinks and knows is best in their regard. Even if his Uncle Dante, the exiting Boss, doesn’t care for his tactics. As with all things Marcello, the family is ever present in this story and makes it all the better. I can never have too much of the entire Marcello Family.
Then there is Haven Murphy who can’t stop her heart from wanting Him. While she knows she needs to move on with her life and leave NY, Andino haunts her mind and heart. She’s not the woman for him, she’s been told by him and the family but there’s something about their love that keeps them colliding. And that something is Andino…….he just can’t tell Haven everything just yet.
I loved this entire love story. I loved their passion and in the end their commitment to one another. It’s a rocky rollercoaster rider but Haven and Andino are a match made in Heaven. I do hope that we get more of them in the future. They are young and have a lot of living to do that I can’t help but be selfish and want more of.

When Vow begins, Andino and Haven are apart. He gave her up the way the family demanded, and he’s more than a little unhappy about it.
But Andino is a cunning, strategic man. He wants a life with Haven. He wants his family. He wants things HIS way. And he will get what he wants, eventually. Even if he has to plot and manipulate to get it.
“Andino would do this all over again. He’d lie, and hurt, and ruin everything for everyone if it meant this moment right here was the same.”
Poor Haven goes through so much, has gone through so much, because of the love she has for a man who keeps hurting her, and I felt for her. I like that she was strong, and made him work for her, but I also wanted to smack him a few times because the push and pull he put her through had to have given her emotional whiplash at times. But, their love was so strong that it really couldn’t be denied. I’m just glad that everything worked out in the end. Of course, their happily ever after didn’t come without some tears, more than a little angst, lots of pain, and a roller coaster of every kind of emotion. I honestly cannot remember the last time I fell so in love with a Mafia romance and Andino and Haven are definitely my favorite Mafia couple. I cannot wait for Bethany-Kris’ next epic Mafia love story!
What can I say? I freaking love Andino and Haven!! I really did not expect to like Andi as much as I did…but he proved to be a Marcello through and through. There is absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do to get what he wants, and I love him even more for it! And Haven…she is his perfect compliment. She’s tough when she needs to be, but still soft and sweet. They were definitely made for one another. When I got to the end of the book I was like “No! It can’t be over!” I was greedy for more of these characters. Another great job Bethany-Kris!
I loved this book so much! I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by Bethany-Kris, but I think this one was my favorite. Andino and Haven just had so much going for them… and so much against them at the same time! My heart broke for Haven… Andi too, but more for Haven cause there was so much going on behind the scenes that she had no clue about. I just wanted to see them get their HEA, and sometimes that didn’t look too promising! And, of course, after Andi and Haven, my very favorite character in the book was Snaps! LOL!! Loved him and all the character he brought with him!
GAHHH!!! This book was SO unbelievably amazing. I seriously didn’t think that I could love anything more than Duty but Vow just dropped the mic on that argument. This story was written with such brilliant emotion in every word. I absolutely love Haven and Andino from the bottom of my heart. It was so hard to finish their story as I never wanted it to end!
From the very beginning of this book Kris took my emotions in hand and had me at her mercy with every word. I felt tears clogged in my throat because I felt both their pain and hurt being separated from one another. It was just so perfectly written where my eyes would water at one point and then I would chuckle a few passages down. I absolutely loved Andino and Haven’s love and dedication for one another. I loved that she was his endgame and he just needed to bide his time to make it happen.
It was also a magical thing to see all of the OG Marcello boys again and see how Andino, as the second generation and next boss, would balance his duty to his family with his own happiness. I was left spellbound by this story and the genuine love between Andino and Haven and seriously can’t wait for more! Bravo!! 5 stars! ~Ratula
VOW by Bethany-Kris is book Two in teh Andino & Haven series. This continues the story of Andino Marcello and Haven Murphy. You should read the previous book to fully enjoy their continuing story.
This book has so much emotions with it. Haven trying to deal with her feelings toward Andino. Andino cares for Haven but he keeps hurting her because he can’t fight his feeling but he needs to keep away.
Overall really enjoyed this book.
4.5 Vow Stars
Vow picked up where Duty left off. Andino and Haven picking up the pieces and trying to move on but things are never that simple especially when you’re a Marcello with the Calabrese family starting trouble in the streets. Haven kept busy packing up her house and waiting for her club to sell but after hearing Andino got hurt she had to reach out to make sure he was okay.
I was not a fan of how Andino handled things between him and Haven. He could’ve done things differently and saved her all the heartache but he was selfish and couldn’t let her go. He had his reasons and needed to do things his way. In the end he got what he wanted.
