This book brought me up and down so many times I lost track of the ride. It was incredible. I felt for this character and fell in love with her loves as she did. Highest recommendation.
Devicka has been essentially banished from the magic community because her power takes away the powers of others, However, they still use her to punish others in the magical community. When she is summoned to the Council, something new happens with her powers and she is sent to Thibault, which is where she has always wanted to be, but she is also hated and feared because of her powers. This is labeled a “bully romance”, but while there is some bullying, it is more so from others than the guys, although the guys are disdainful towards her. Render, Grit, Hyde, Quade are the 4 Paragons, who are basically groomed to be the most powerful and eventually be on the Council. I liked seeing them realize their prejudice and the growth they all have. I hope these 2 authors continue to collaborate 🙂
Wow! All I can say is wow! This book sucked me into its void and still hasn’t let go long after I read the last page! From the very start, the authors sunk their claws into me with their beautiful writing and intriguing story line. The heroine is one you root for from the get-go and often wish she’d pull the villain card she was given. “Why was I always the villain, when all I ever tried to be was the hero?” But, alas, she had a good heart and good intentions despite what others thought about her. All her life she’d been bullied, hated on, and feared. And despite that, she kept moving forward and strived to do the right thing. I loved her and her harem of arrogant mean boys! This may have been my first book by these authors, but I’ll definitely be reading everything else they have now too! Five SUCKED INTO THE VOID stars!!
Absolutely fantastic read from start to finish! I adored Void, and really wish there was more, though it did wrap up perfectly! This was my first foray into bully romance, and I’m really glad I gave it a shot because this has definitely become one of my favourite RH reads.
Recommended for those who like darker RH/bully romance. Not for the faint of heart!
I very much enjoyed this RH standalone! It’s an enemies-to-lovers that involves some bullying, but nothing too bad. I’m normally not a fan of bully romance. I would consider it more enemies-to-lovers than bully romance, in other words. I loved how the different types of supernaturals came together around her, and how the Void was unique from the rest. Very cool worldbuilding and story idea!
Enemies to lovers, RH PNR, Coming into one’s self …
You THINK this is another typical story BUT what you don’t expect is for your heart to be ripped into a million pieces and put back together again one chapter at a time.
Devs story is CLASSIC but the way the VOID is used to depict excepting one’s self is above all expectations. As you meet the paragons in the story you want to hate them but you gradually fall for them just like Dev. The building of this Reverse Harem was not what I was expecting and I kept reading just to find out how it was going to unfold.
This book was a done in 24hrs type read. I recommend starting reading this in the morning cause you will not want to put it down. Thank you to the authors for providing such a WONDERFUL story. I WILL be reading more from them.
Void is a go-to for me. I adore this book, the writing, and the characters. I recommend it regularly and reread it often.
This book was amazing! I literally couldn’t put it down! It was unique and original, it wasn’t predictable. It is seriously sooo good!
This is a fantastic book! CoraLee June and Raven Kennedy wrote an amazing story! The Narrator for the audiobook did an awesome job bringing the story and characters to life! I love this book and would definitely recommend it as a Must Read!
This was such a surprise! I adored every single character, the plot was engaging and the romances were swoony. I think this is a standalone (it has a great ending) but I’d still love to see more of this world.
CoraLee June is a new author to me. I loved Raven Kennedy’s Series, the Heart Hassle Series. Void is a great RH Bully Paranormal Romance. It’s refreshing to have a complete story in only one book! No Cliffhanger, No Series, and a HEA guaranteed! Thanks to the authors!
The main characters are great! I loved Devicka and her mates, four Paragons. Their chemistry is sizzling! Devicka is a strong, sassy, and fun character. Render, a vampire, is my favorite character (I love vampires!)! Gritt, a shifter, is a very intriguing character, with his four animals! Quade, an elemental, is a powerful character, who can control the four elements. Hyde, a necromancer, is a fun character! The zombies dancing are hilarious! The word building is well done, well developped, and original. The storyline is fast-paced, intriguing, fun, and sexy. I love the ending.
Addison Barnes did an amazing job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice, and she has a great range of voices, and it was easy to distinguish the various characters. This is a great team authors/narrator. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I listened to the audio book of this story. This was so much different than any other paranormal romances and I didn’t even know it was a reverse harem until I started listening. The way the story flows is so good, you don’t even notice how long it’s been. You get engrossed into the world. The way it’s described, you can feel yourself there and see everything. I felt my heart go out to Devicka for everything she was going through but she was strong. She is one of those heroines that pushes through. The narrators did such a great job bringing this story to life.
What a fantastic paranormal romance. Void was engrossing and will capture your attention from beginning to end. This bully reverse harem novel was hot and steamy with nail biting twists and turns and a storyline you won’t easily forget. There were a couple of supernatural powers in this story that I’ve never heard of, but I was captivated nonetheless. I wish this novel was longer because I loved these characters and was not ready for the story to end. It was a unique and refreshing tale, that was well written, descriptive and layered and an excellent introduction to these new to me authors. This story consumed me and I cannot stop thinking about it. Worthy of more than 5 stars this was a phenomenal read and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of paranormal bully RH romances.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Addison Barnes. She did a superb job with voicing these characters and really brought the story to life. Her voice was clear and understandable and she was able to infuse the right emotions into the story. It was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.
This was my first book by these authors, and I must say how brilliant it was to read such a different and interesting PNR story coupled with reverse harem / bully thrown in, very unique and utterly engaging, I loved it from start to finish!!
Devika was an fabulously interesting heroine with a very unique power that I haven’t come across in PNR before, so this blew my socks off, I loved this about her. Her 4 men, Render, Hyde, Grit and Quade were all uniquely different from one another again – vampire / necromancer / shifter / elementalist – all very different personalities and each having unique skill sets in the bedroom, which were extremely hot!!
I loved Devika and really felt for her, she had been through such a lot due to her unique powers, shunned and hated by everyone. Her 4 men hated her at first but this changed as they got to know her, she was so very different from the reputation that she had, and seeing the change in them and the pull between them all was captivating and enthralling.
A fantastic story line that will keep you hooked with such a great character line up, this really was a surprising and addictive read for me. I can’t wait to read more from these authors if this is anything to go by! Highly recommended reading.
This story fed my little black soul in ways I hadn’t expected. It ticked so many of my awesome story boxes!
I LOVED just about every aspect of this story. Dense, well-built paranormal mythology with unique spins, a great storyline, a heroine that has endured a lot and come out the other side stronger for it, intense steamy romance. All the things! I so very much enjoyed this read and can’t wait for the next one in the series. (Rumor has it there’s a prequel, and I’m all over that!)
That said – it won’t be for everyone. It is a reverse harem story, and bully / enemies to lovers. If these hit your ick switch, you might want to think twice but honestly, you also might want to give it a chance.

This is a standalone book with HEA, but it has a prequel, in the same universe of Void, that is being released this week.
“My whole life, I’d been an eraser. I erased my mother’s love. Hell, I’d erased my whole damn life. Just by walking in the room, I erased people’s smiles and sense of safety. And whenever the council made me, I erased people’s powers, too, and that meant I took away their entire identity.”

WHAT HAS REALLY WORKED FOR ME
Addictiveness: 5/5 This book kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know everything. This was a long book, but fast-paced with so much to tell that when it ended I still wanted more. As addictive as chocolate!!!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Multidimensional characters with lots of depth and personality. They were all so interesting and easy to love and understand.
Devicka/Void was an amazing heroine. I loved her. She was so strong. I mean, life has given her a horrible family, an abominable community, an abhorrent school, and an appalling council (government) and she still managed to become such a great girl. She was very young and in needing to feel loved. She also needed guidance. She had such amazing power, but nobody to really tell her what did it mean and how to use it. Even if for the wrong reasons, the best thing that happened in Devicka’s life was to grow up in a human school. Because different than all her peers at supernatural school, she had humanity, something all the others needed, even her mates.
“You’re obviously showing signs of bonding, similar to shifters, but your hunger mimics that of a vampire. You have control over the Void now and seem to direct it like an elemental would, and yet there is something deadly about it, too.”
by Headmaster Torne
Render, the vampire mate. Render was very sensual like all vampires and very cocky. He believed he was the best and surely part of the best species. He ruled his people with control. He wasn’t afraid of the Void, from the beginning he always felt more important and stronger than her. He tasted her blood, become obsessed and that drove him crazy, because he liked to always be the one in control. He had no trouble with sharing his mate with others as vampires are known for orgies and voyeurism. He was definitely a bully, but we could see it was all to mask his true feelings.
Quade, the elemental mate. Quade controlled all four elements (air, earth, water and fire), which made him the most powerful Elemental being in their world. He was Devicka’s childhood best friend until the Void separated them and made he become a jerk. He was that person that followed orders and got the opinions of the elders as it was always truth. So, when young and impressible, he believed everything his parents told him about the Void. It was hard for Quade to accept his true feelings. I think more than any other mate, to accept he may be wrong about the Void, would be to accept that he had been unfair, a horrible friend and a bully most of his life. He was a people pleaser and had an enchanting personality that easily made everybody swoon. He didn’t initially wanted to share, mostly because he was afraid of the unknown, like with Devicka’s power.
Gritt, the shifter mate. Like male mostly alpha males shifters, Gritt was intense and very dominant. He mated for life and didn’t like to share. He was the only shifter on their world that could shift into 4 animals, making him the most powerful shifter alive. Because of his animals mating bond, he was the first that understood he was mating with the Void and the first to let her feed from him. He was fearless and very loyal. Like all four paragons (ruler of his people) he follow his duties with precision and was afraid of how mating the Void would affect his people. He was an ass**le and very impulsive, always trying to solve his problems with physical fights.
Hyde, the necromancer mate. Hyde was a sweetheart. From the beginning he was willing to give the Void a chance. He didn’t take all their preconceived notions as truths and tried to create his own opinion. He was the levelheaded of the mates. He was also a loner, with a specie that hadn’t a big population either, and he saw similarities between his magic and the Void. If I had to pick a favorite, Hyde would be it. (I loved them all and I’m totally team keep them all)
“Gritt has been acting like he doesn’t want me, and Quade and I have history, but then Render seems to be attracted to my blood, nd Hyde-well-is just Hyde.”
by Devicka/Void
This universe created by the author is so vast with several different species that we have many interesting secondary characters that I could see the author write a book about and turning this into a series.
Villains.. antagonists… almost everybody lol. Really in this world in which everybody wants power and status, it seems like everybody could be a friend or a foe.
All characters were easy to love, connect and understand!!!
Cover: art 5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I love this cover! It has definitely been made to this book. It is dark, sexy and sad like Devicka. She is alone, dressed in black, surrounded by the mysterious fog. The title is self-explanatory and the subtitle fits the story. The choices of font and colors were also spot on. I would easily buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!!!
Freshness: 5/5 The thing with fantasy books is that is easier to give a complete original concept. The authors have definitely created here an unique world that has room to go wherever they want. As fresh as cold water in the middle of the desert!!!
Plot: believable 5/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5 Good beginning and a wonderful ending. A believable plot even though full of magic. Great dialogues, astonishing setting and interesting subplots. A fast-paced thriller, with awesome conflict and unanticipated twists. Highest level of enjoyment!
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 SCORCHING HOT!!! I love reverse harem and this one was really well constructed. The authors created a slow burn, slow paced development that felt natural and believable. The heroine chemistry with each of her mates was undeniable and it was also well divided how each relationship had its own peculiarities. The smut was UNBELIEVABLE. The scenes were hot, the description was great and it felt fresh, new! Explosive Love!!!
Writing Style: 5/5 My first book by the authors and I can’t wait to read more. Fascinating world-built, incredible characters, marvelous romance, shocking smut in a clean, cohesive plot. Writing of a wordsmith!!!!
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
I really missed the guys voices!!! I wanted so bad to “feel”them. I loved Devicka, and I’m certain that I would love the guys even more if I could read a book with their POV.
“I’m a power elemental?
Yes, youngling. You can take, give, mold and mend. You wield the abilities gifted to us by the gods. It is your divine and sacred duty.”
by Devicka in a conversation with another void
MY THOUGHTS
Oh, please, don’t stop!!! I want to read more. I know, there are so many species and characters to be explored. But I want more of them. Of my group of 5. They are so interesting and multidimensional that I could see a series with them rebuilding their world and what comes next for their people. So, PLEASE, make it happen!!!!
Also, could you please, write a book with the boy POV. I was dying to “feel”and “learn”them a bit more. Every new chapter I would expect, now I will get one of the guys or all of their POV.
This was so fantastic!!!!
Fantasy stories by nature are convoluted and if not exceptionally well written it become hard to understand with too many unsolved mysteries. Not the problem here. This was extraordinarily well written!!!
34/35 STARS – 5 STARS (between 33.5 stars and 35 stars)
Addictiveness: 5 Character: 5 Cover: 5 Freshness: 5 Plot: 4 Romance: 5 Writing Style: 5

Would I recommend? Definitely! Anyone that likes fantasy book, buckle up and immerse yourself in this one!!!!
Would I re-read this book/series? I would reread this and I’m hoping it will become a series!!!
Would I read more from the author? I’m stalking them right now!!!
You MAY read this because you romantic fantasy; you SHOULD read this because you like reverse harem romance; you MUST read this because it is UNIQUE!!!
From an all girls school to the academy of her dreams, but under forced circumstances.
From living with only humans and hiding her true self, to being with supernatural beings.
So much hatred her for what she is. The world is spinning and not in her favour.
She’s here and they are to watch over her every move, but she’s not what they thought she would be like at all.
Have they been fed lies, all this time?
This is book heaven right here for anyone who likes the paranormal and reverse harem genres combined.
Hatred and lust, denial and confusion all swim on the pages beneath a new world where no one is truly safe and she’s the equivalent of the big bad wolf.
I wanted to hug the life out of Devicka for the way everyone has treated her. She is completely overlooked as a person and misunderstood entirely.
The paragons are simply jaw dropping. Their abilities are secondary to none and their personalities could win over anyone!
Put them all together and it’s almost too much. The heat and sexual tension is off the charts and I’m sure my kindle started to melt at several points!
What an utterly amazing book! and if you only read one paranormal book this month I beg of you that it’s this!
I could honestly read about these characters forever and a day and still be left with a hunger for more!
I was so sad for most of this book, poor Divicka. It is understandable that she didn’t know if she could trust anyone or their motives, and all because the poor girl came into her powers and didn’t know what was happening. I absolutely love this book and the characters. I will definitely be rereading this over and over again because of the emotion and depth of Divicka’s character and the storyline being so completely unique and unexpectedly heart tugging.
I LOVE the twists, turns, and HOTNESS that is in this book. Everything about it riles me up!
* First time reading these authors
** Read on KU
So I was trying to find something to read after reading a dark romance, I needed to clean my palate some and came across this cover. Moreover, tbh, I am a cover whore, and I loved it. All the reviews are lovely, the bully romance and PNR theme. I had to read this book. I am so freaking happy I did.
Void is unlike anything I have ever read. This story is a bully romance, but not where you want to throw your kindle across the room. This story is more like you never know whom you can trust other than Void and hope that at the end of this story she will be able to find the truth within herself to fight for her life.
I never knew until at that moment who was going to be in this romance with Void and loved that. This story is so much more than just a bully romance. There is a lot that goes on in this story, but it is so worth the read!
