There are rules to life that one just obeys in order in her attempt stay on the right path. For example:1.You don’t wear dirty panties out of the house. You just never know who’s going to see them.2. A lady must always have chocolate at the ready—just in case the world as she knows it comes to an end.3. You don’t egg on a drunk woman who’s pissed off at life. Why, you ask? Because they start bar … Because they start bar fights, that’s why.
Casten Red, the unofficial enforcer of The Uncertain Saints MC, wasn’t necessarily trying to urge her into doing anything illegal, and he definitely wasn’t trying to get her into a fight with a group of men who were all twice her size.
No, he only intended to give her the confidence to stand up for herself, just a little nudge in the right direction. How the hell was he supposed to know she’d go all Chuck Norris on them and put three of them in the hospital with concussions?
He should’ve followed his gut instinct and turned around that first moment he saw her in the bar, but Casten has never liked following the rules. Why the hell would he start now?

Casten is a total jerk to everyone, except towards his dog. Tasha is just there. these two can be looked at as polar opposites, but sometimes that’s what a relationship needs.
Casten wasn’t looking for a woman to call his own. that is until he starts to really notice Tasha. and when they finally quit trying to deny that there is something between them, they are perfect for each other.
this couple has its ups and downs. and its them working through the downs that make their story a good one. and in true Vale fashion, the appearances of some of the characters of previous books was a nice this to see again.
I really enjoyed this book and the twist that it took. The two main characters, Tausha and Casten, are prefect for one another but a certain someone, Casten, refuses to allow it to happen because he is a bit stubborn. Someone from Tausha’s past threatens her life so Casten steps in to protect her. What he didn’t expect to do was fall for her and fall for her hard he did.
Go read the story, it’s great!!!!
I listened to the audiobook for this title. The narrators were fantastic. Many times that is not the case. This is a sweet story. Yes, it’s an MC, but not one of those MCs. Members actually have real jobs. I tell you, this book made me laugh out loud several times. Highly recommend.
5 Stars
It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE fan of Lani Lynn Vale, and she continues to prove why. This is book three in the Uncertain Saints MC series and by far, has become my favorite. I didn’t think she could surpass Mig and Annie, but she totally blew me away with Casten and Tasha. Vodka on the Rocks quickly moved to my top 5 LLV books.
Casten is total Alpha male and I love that about him, and I love even more that he has met his match with Tasha. She has been through so much and is as strong as they come and definitely gives as good as she gets. He is determined to live a single life and not be tied down, but when he meets Tasha, he just can’t seem to get her out of his mind and she’s definitely gotten under his skin. The banter between these two is amazing! I could just feel the sexual tension building and building between them, and when it finally ignites…WHEW! Explosive is definitely the word that comes to mind.
This book has plenty of drama, suspense, sexiness, and a twist you don’t see coming, and will leave you with your mouth hanging open going whattttt??. I love how Lani gives us glimpses of all the guys and I have to say I’m anxiously awaiting Apple’s book. I love how all of her series are connected, but you can start with any of them and not be lost. What are you waiting for? #Oneclick today!

Casten & Tasha are intense and emotionally beautiful! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Tasha & Casten are both emotionally scared and very hesitant to enter into anything deep. Both of them seem very drawn to each other and Casten becomes very protective of Tasha. She has a Stalker and he is not pleased at all. When the dust settles can they come out on top together? Can they love each other?
This story was gritty and real! Perfection!
I read this book years ago, and have re-read it many times since. I just realized I have never left a review.
Another fun and entertaining story in this series. This was a back and forth, angst filled, steamy, and heartwarming journey to go on wit Casten and Tasha. I enjoyed every single moment of this book.
Casten and Tasha’s story is one of inevitable love, a chemistry and a connection that cannot be ignored no matter how hard Casten tries. Vodka on the Rocks will have you on the edge on your seat and have your heart racing as these two play cat and mouse not only with each other but a stalker. This third book in the Uncertain Saints MC is off the charts steamy with a passion so strong that at times you will feel it through the pages. Another book by LLV that will have you enamoured by not only their path to forever but these two strong willed characters that both have hearts the size of Texas and eyes for one another only.
Casten and Tasha’s story was excellent! Although this is my second time reading it, it still kept my attention. I Love Lani Lynn Vale’s books!
Casten Red doesn’t do relationships, he has enough responsibilities as it is and having a woman that would demand his time is just not something he is interested in. He will begrudgingly admit that he is mildly attracted to Tasha, but she has been acquaintance zoned as far has he is concerned.
Tasha has a crush on Casten, but she is well aware it will never go anywhere. When it becomes apparant she has a stalker though she is shockingly surprised to find Casten giving her a room in his house and protecting her. Casten is done denying what Tasha means to him, it is like a switch went off and he is ready to claim his woman. Now he has to stop a stalker and in it possibly hurt the woman he loves like no other.
High octane fun. I loved Casten, he is growly and quite demanding but wih Tasha he is fascinating. Tasha is fantastic, she is quirky and not your standard heroine. I liked this couple together, they are electric and you are fully invested in them from begining to end.
Humm… while this was a quick and light read it really didn’t hit my expectations from the blurb. I thought this was an MC story and while the club, cuts and motorcycles were mentioned; the men could have easily been in any other job and the story would not gave chsnged.
The characters were funny and well developed and the plot was decent. I thought this was a standalone and while I could follow the story line well enough; there were too many details missing. Like what was Casten’s job both in life and as part of the MC? It read as unfinished because I had not read the previous books in the series. I wasn’t introduced to characters, it was just expected that I know them.
The ending was fast and there were epiolgues but they didn’t match the tone of the book for me. They were too sweet and Casten was suddenly so sweet and loving, he lost a bit of his gruffness, that gave him quality. I can go on, but I will leave it here. Good story, just not what I was expecting or necessary wanted.
Oh… and for other readers like me, there needs to be a Trigger Warning on this book. There are two instances of animal violence and neglect. Its a hard limit for me and I am extremely dissapointed it never seems to make the list of warnings.
This is the third book in the Uncertain Saints series. This is a stand alone, but if you don’t read the others, you are missing out on some great reads.
I have read all of Lani Lynn Vale’s books. I have loved every single freaking one! And this one is no different. She is one of my “I must drop everything and read” authors. I am always looking forward to her next release.
I love Casten! He is awesome. He is basically a bounty hunter. He is a wounded warrior and was a cop. He is protective of the people he loves, like his sisters. They both live with him. And then there is Tasha. He met her through her sister and Mig.
Tasha is a volleyball coach and has a few college degrees. She is being stalked, but she’s a little niave about it, but part of that is Casten’s fault. He keeps some things about it from her.
I love how we hear about the Free group and the Dixie Wardens. Plus, we see Tai in this read also.
Just like all the other books, the chapter intros are hilarious!
“Sometimes you can’t help but be a fucker. When everyone else you deal with is a fucker, you have to outfuck the other fuckers.”
“I’m not bitchy. I’m just selective with my kindness.”
“Don’t keep calm. Grab my hair, spin me around, and fuck me like you hate me.”
I can’t wait for the next book!
So this is the third of Lani Lynn Vale’s Uncertain Saints MC series, and yes you need to read the previous two before this.
Lani has once again knocked it out of the park, she has a knack for writing a story, that plays like a movie in your head, while making you laugh till you almost pee, sigh and fan yourself cuz the scene is just that freaking hot, and cry the ugly cry, not the pretty, girly couple of tears, but full out she just broke you in half.
Casten, doesn’t need anyone but his brothers. He doesn’t need or want a woman in his life, just the one and done type and he is good with that. But Annie’s sister, Tasha, may just be what he needs… if only he will let himself. Tasha also comes into this with a lot of baggage… its very interesting watching the two work circles around each other. Both needing the other, but…. not really letting themselves… I give this 5 stars; it has drama, sexy times that make you pant, and some seriously hot alpha maleness going on.
Casten is all badass biker. I love MC romance and this one is amazing. Lani is phenomenal.
I absolutely loved it. Every time a new Lani Lynn Vale comes out I hold my breath; there’s no way she can keep cranking out 5 star reads. But she does, each and every time she brings us characters that inspire and stories that touch our hearts.
