This is a story about two people who have had their share of bad times and they find one another in the most unexpected of ways. You never know what can happen over one drunk dialed call. Get ready for an emotional ride, from laughter to tears and everything in between. Aaron and Vivian are a fantastic couple.
Vivian drunk calls a wrong number and starts talking to Aaron and they become friends. They both start feeling more but than Aaron has a family emergency. Can they each get by the past ? Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. Great book.
A+++
Had all the feels and I couldn’t put it down!
Vivian “meets” Aaron when she mistakenly dials him while extremely drunk. They begin a friendship by phone for the next little while. Vivian has been suffering for the last four years, but Aaron makes her feel things she never thought she would again. Aaron is very intrigued by his midnight drunk caller, and just when things start to move forward with them tragedy changes the course of his life. I really liked how these two came together and though they each had a few insecurities, they didn’t let them come between them much. I’m glad Vivian found someone again. This was a quick read, and I enjoyed it.
“Vivian, Midnight Call Girl” (Iron Orchids Book 6) by Danielle Norman is a fantastic read. I loved Vivian and Aaron’s story! This is a fabulous addition to this series. This story is packed with romance, humor, overcoming tragedy, entertaining characters, close friends, family, and more. I loved catching up with so many favorite characters, and can not wait to see what happens next with this group. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, family, close friends, and series.
3.5 stars.
A relationship that starts with calling a wrong number. Aaron has had a heartbreaking life and an accident allows him to gain something he lost. Vivian is a cop widow and skittish regarding relationships, especially with a man eight years younger. The story has a happy ending.. I was just left with a feeling that it was too short and that a lot of character detail that you would usually find in a Danielle Norman book was missing.
This is the tale I have been waiting for since we met Vivian at the beginning of the series! I knew this one would make me shed tears and oh wow did Danielle have me sobbing my heart out at the beginning but it was worth every tear!
After attending a disastrous wedding and drinking a few bottles of champagne Vivian decides to call her sister-in-law and ends up drunk dialling a stranger. Its not long before they end up talking daily and becoming closer.
This story has some great twists that pull on your heartstrings and keep you completely hooked from the very beginning to the end.
Aaron, be still my swooning heart! The way he is with Vivian makes my heart happy and the way he is with Ireland well that just makes my ovaries cry. He is perfect for Vivian.
As always it was lovely seeing some of my favourite characters from previous books and I am looking forward to seeing who we are brought next.
Once again Danielle Norman has kept me awake while reading from her Iron Orchids Books.
In this book it talks a little about Vivian husband dying and her true friends are showing. and leads up to where her friends’ from collage is trying to out due the other until she get tired of it and then drunk dials Aaron Skye and they keep on talking
I am speechless with this one. Vivian was emotional, raw and funny all wrapped up in one. So many aspects of the story I didn’t see coming and the writing just completely blew me away. Vivian has now taken the #1 spot on my Orchids list. Thank you Danielle for this 5 star read!
I loved Vivian’s story having been a widow for a few years she drunk dialed a stranger who soon becomes something more Aaron is a professional Basketball player and works his way into Vivians heart when Aaron has a family emergency. I loved Aaron and Vivan as a couple and getting to see the Iron Orchids was a plus the only thing is I wish it was longer and more fleshed out but I highly recommend
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
A can’t put it down book. Vivian’s story opens up with a gut-wrenching cry out loud beginning and concludes on a joyful, please don’t end finale. Ms. Norman has given us another great read in the Iron Orchids series.
Loved the book!!! So happy for Vivian! Aaron is a basketball player who gets a call at midnight from Vivian. They start talking almost daily but then something happens and there is no talking or communication of any kind for days! When Aaron comes back to Orlando will Vivian listen or talk to him? And who is Ireland?!?
There are not enough accolades to say just how fabulous this book is but it is my new favorite. It is a storyline fraught with heartbreak and the ability to overcome life’s challenges. Vivian lost her husband at a young age and is trying to pick up the pieces after the loss. Lucky for her she has a band of women that are there to support her and a new “friend,” Aaron when she accidentally drunk dials him. These two are just perfect for each other. However, will the past be something that keeps them apart or brings them together? From the beginning, Ms. Norman will suck any reader in with her witty writing style and she does not let go. This is one of those books that will leave a smile on your face when all is said and done. My one comment is that I wish it would have been a little longer because these characters will just sweep you away and all you want to do is keep going. I highly recommend reading this. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.
Vivian, Midnight Call Girl (Iron Orchids #6)

Super-moving story! This book will tug on your heartstrings from start to finish. You will love the heroine, Vivian! She’s fun, sassy, sexy and a small, but also a strong survivor. Losing her husband was the hardest thing she’s ever faced. But she’s got the incredible support of her Iron Women which is what’s so great about all of the Iron Orchids/Badges/Ladies books. We all need a little bit of Stella‼ Enter Aaron, the striking NBA Lighting player who receives an accidental drunk dialed call from Vivian one night…and so begins their story. Is Vivian ready to let go of her past and move into a future with Aaron? Can she handle his world of celebrity & spotlight? Or will it all be too much after the loss she’s suffered? These are the questions that lead to some gripping moments in this book which add such depth to this story. Some are very unexpected and quite surprising. This is a sweet tender story that’s very believable and will be easily relatable for many. Such a great read with lots of feel good moments. Highly recommended
This book almost takes the top ranking Iron Orchids book, Until, off the pedestal for me. So close. That’s a big deal because Stella is my girl. But Vivian… oh, boy is she something!
I loved this book!
Who knew one drunk miss dial could lead to so much more! I loved Vivian and Aaron! They were so right for each other! Over continued texts and calls their attraction grew. With the help of well meaning friends she’s able to get the courage to go out with him. There are some bumps on their journey to happiness, but like all of Danielle’s stories it all works out in the end! I loved this book so much! I look forward to see what Danielle has in store for us next!
I have read every book Danielle has written and this is one of the best! It was so well written, I could feel Vivian’s pain – I was choking back the tears in the 1st few pages! I love this series so much! The passion, the pain, the shenanigans- she makes the reader feel like you are right there with the (not a) gang!
