Blake
At 43 I’m supposed to have everything figured out, and if you’d asked me six months ago I’d have said I did: head of my own tech company, beautiful fiancée, amazing future all planned out…life was perfect. Or, at least, I thought it was… fill my day—no meetings, no reports, no tests, no launch parties—and that’s how I manage to get hooked on Warpath 4 and somehow find myself sexting with a guy almost twenty years younger than me.
Say what?
Okay, here’s the thing: it didn’t start out dirty. It was all completely tame. Mild. Conversational. But then conversation turned to flirting, and flirting turned to dirty talk. And, well…let’s just say things escalated from there…
But it’s just a bit of fun. Right? It’s not like anything would ever work in real life. I’m too old, he’s still closeted. And let’s not get started on how I’m supposedly straight. It’s just way too messy. Definitely best if we never actually meet each other…
But what if we already have?
Turns out my virtual f*ck buddy is actually Owen Kelly, my best friend’s kid brother. Which leaves me pretty much screwed…
Warning: This book is not appropriate for anyone who doesn’t like laughing, anyone who doesn’t like the word ‘daddy’, or anyone who doesn’t like when hot older guys and gorgeous younger guys have a hella lot of super-steamy sex.

This is the 2nd book in the series. MM age gap romance with a twist.
I am not a huge age gap fan and the whole “daddy” thing is a big turnoff for me, but it works in this book.
Blake is a 43-year-old retired multimillionaire who unknowingly is sexing through an online game chat with his best friend’s little brother Owen – fun!
The circumstances surrounding them discovering who each other is fun but Blake following Owen to his childhood bedroom was a stretch. It is the couple’s first time, Blake’s second time with a man, in his best friend’s parent’s house with a party going on downstairs and Owen has anxiety issues – while hot, it is a bit much!
I could do with more romance and a little less sex. I liked that there was a tie into the 1st book and a look into the next installment in the series. I love the Kelly family dynamics and look forward to the next book.
Not too old
I love this series and the Kellys. They are a riot with their group chats. Blake is super sexy and Owen surprised me in the best way. These two are hot, hot, hot but I what I adored the most with them is how they click when they’re together. Although Owen frustrated me a little, I also felt for him. He’s so lovable and I’m glad he has his roomie in his life. With Blake, I pretty much wanted to steal him away forever and the only thing he is, is amazing, just like this book. It had me laughing out loud from the first page and sighing with happiness mixed in with some burning curiosity by the end. Can’t wait to see whose story is next.
I really loved this story. Blake already a family friend unknowingly meets Owen through an online game. They get pretty close and personal through online gaming and chatting. What a surprise when they finally realized who they are to each other at one of Owen’s family get togethers. Fireworks erupts. Their relationship is filled with a lot of sex and happy times. I really enjoyed reading their romance and how they overcame the major obstacle…older man/younger man. Owen had to come to terms of that part of their relationship and Blake was so great willing to work through his issues. The HEA was wonderful. I wonder if we will see more of the Kelley brothers??

I love Isla Olsen books! Blake and Owen story was really hot and sweet. This two were perfect for each other. the family messages a lot of fun. I absolutely adored Blake!!!
I loved this story. Age gap is my go-to, so it was already starting off great. It’s low-angst and pretty much insta-love, which I enjoy. I’m on a complicated relationships kick right now, and best friend’s brother definitely fits the bill. Owen calling Blake Daddy was sexy. It was just a sexy name, instead of a daddy kink thing (which I would have loved anyway). Great story with laughs, sweetness, sexiness, and love. I love this series!
**********Contains Spoilers***********
I loved this book. I loved how Owen & Blake started out, as it was the perfect way for Owen as he could get to know someone without his social anxiety becoming an issue. I’m glad that they worked out who each other were early on in the story. I loved the Kelly family group chats as they make the story more realistic, total genius that Owen and Caitlin broke their news to the family at the same time to buffer each other. Like when Owen told them all that he’s gay, super gay, so gay that he’s going to wear hot pants and that he’d look very good in them, after they’d started grilling Caty about her baby daddy. Twins for the Win!! Man some of the private chats with Owen & Blake are pretty hot. I’m looking forward to reading Jai’s book when I read The King & Jai, as he’s a total character. I love this series and love how many times this book made me smile and laugh. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
2.5 stars
Other than all the many dirty hot sexy scenes the story was just ok and dragged in places. I absolutely loved the first book so this was a big let down.
While I’ve come to expect hilarious from Isla Olsen, this story was a bit more relaxed in humor. There were still laugh out loud parts especially focused around the Kelly clan but in all Owen was the quietest Kelly family member so his relationship with Blake was more chilled out. They still had a really intense connection and the steamy scenes were extra hot but in all with Owen’s anxiety they were a laid back couple. The break up scene broke a piece of my heart but the make up and the extra epilogue definitely made up for it. This was another great story in this series.
The good character and storyline development kept me totally glued to my kindle from the very beginning! The steamy chemistry between Blake and Owen kept me turning the pages until the very end!
I knew I was gonna struggle with this because it had all the elements I don’t like (age gap, daddy, etc.) regardless of liking the characters, but wtf was that Princess Diaries ending?
I really enjoyed this book. Owen and Blake start dating. Blake is nineteen years older then Owen and Owen must come to terms with it. Blake is also Owen’s oldest brother’s best friend.
I enjoyed this book. Despite the brother’s best friend and age gap tropes, this was pretty low-angst. Blake and Owen were both extremely likable, and there was a lot of humor in their sexy story. I haven’t read the first book in the series, but I’m sure I will enjoy once I do. I loved Owen’s big nosy family, and I had to laugh at Blake’s quirky mom. I look forward to seeing more of these characters in the next book, which I am already excited about. This one was fun and very sexy, and I really liked it!
Two guys who meet during virtual gaming it’s no big thing until it becomes kinky, sexy, fun between two guys one is supposed to be strait the other is gay but afraid to come out.
Blak is older 43 has sold his gaming company got out of a relationship with a women who cheated and he wasn’t even mad about good thing they hadn’t walked down the aisle yet. But since moving he has allot of time on his hands he catches up with some old friends and starts gaming on line. But a little help from a much younger man soon gets dirty.
Owen spends allot of time at work were he’s a nurse he comes from a big family he has a twine and his only outlit other them sleep is virtually gaming were he helps out this guy new to the game soon they start chatting and then they begin to flirt. They think they will never meet but surprise Blake is friends with Owen’s older brother. There relationship progresses now Owen has to deal with coming out and Blake well he has to deal with the brother and the family. Owen’s family is funny loud and get up to all kinds of stuff.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
I really enjoy this one. Super well rounded characters, great story line, hot-steamy scenes, lots of great chemistry between characters and very well written. This one was more sweet and cute than it was angsty. Characters do go through their doubts of whether they will work due to their age difference and other factors. I really enjoyed how they met through an online video game and end up knowing eachother in real life and not realizing it at first. There’s a twenty year age gap and the whole falling in love with your friends younger brother trope and there is some use of the word daddy during sex but no role playing or age play or a daddy boy relationship. Either way, a very enjoyable read! I look forward to reading more from this Author after this being my first read by them.
Good simple romance, but torrid
Good romance which poses both the question of age gap, self-discovery, but especially the fact of assuming or not his homosexuality in front of the eyes of others.
The story is both tender and torrid, well written with some twists, with characters for whom I immediately had empathy.
Blake, who thought he was heterosexual, discovers that he is attracted to a young man with whom he interacts in a video game. Their lives are turned upside down when he discovers that they know each other and that the young man is none other than Owen, the brother of Blake’s best friend.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Virtually Screwed by Isla Olsen is the second book in the Love & Luck series. It is a contemporary m/m romance with a brother’s best friend theme, and an age gap. I love how Blake and Owen’s relationship develops and their characters were fun to get to know. The story is a marvelous mix of angst, humor and steam that gave me enough sweetness to feed my mushy love addiction and yet enough heat to melt ice. I can not wait for more in this series. It is definitely one I can not miss out on
Their differences disappear as Blake and Owen game right into a relationship: sweet and steamy
4.5 stars
Yes, these two guys have a big age and wealth gap between them which makes how they anonymously connect so key. Gaming their way to heated conversations, IMs and some scandalous pics, these two get off to a steamy start that just keeps getting better until a crucial hitch in their secretive relationship.
I liked both guys, and the gay for you trope was well played. I thought the appearance of a surprise blast connected to Blake’s world travel adventures brought an interesting element into the mix as Blake is suddenly dealing with two young men with a conflicting hold on him.
This is a good reading choice if you want heat and minimal angst, with nary one secondary character who has an issue with same $ex luvvin’. It’s a good standalone romance, though the large Kelly family and their lovers and friends weave through each other’s stories. I enjoyed it.Though billionaires and royal romances are a bit too ubiquitous for my taste, this one did not overdo the opulence and kept the displays of wealth contained in a few scenes while emphasizing the human-to-human connection.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is the second book that I have read by Isla Olsen and this book is number 2 in Love & Luck Series. This story is about 24 years old Owen who is the youngest in the Kelly family and 43 years old Blake, who happens to best friends with Owen’s oldest brother Shay. We got the chance to meet Owen and Shay briefly in the first book “Fake it till you Make Out”. Twists and turns that will have you guessing on what happens while you read this book. Great read and I can’t wait til the next book in this series comes out.

This is book #2, in the fabulous Love & Lick series. This book can be read as a standalone novel, but I would hate for you to miss out. I recommend reading this series in order.
Owen has been attracted to his brother’s best friend for some time. Who wouldn’t find those sexy abs hot? Since he only dates women, it was never an issue. Then he finds himself excited about someone he met on a game platform. Until he finds out who he is…..
Blake has found someone on a game that he plays. Someone he can truly talk to. He finds that a rarity these days. When things change to the sexy, he finds himself turned on to the point of the ridiculous. Then he finds out who it is he has been “sexting” with.
Such an incredible story. I was literally hooked right from the very first chapter. The characters are so very sexy. So very meant to be. The author has made such an amazing series. This is a good addition to it. I cannot wait for the next installment. I am seriously addicted. This is such a great read.

Owen is the the youngest of the Kelly family and Blake is best friends with Owen’s oldest brother Shay. While playing a computer game they start talking to each other through the game and they really hit it off and things gets heated fast.
Owen was an easy character to like and with some help he acknowledged how to face his anxiety. Blake was easy going and incredibly hot. The characters where so much fun crazy, sexy and utterly enjoyable read!
I definitely recommend this book!
