Great book with wonderful characters
goodness i read this book and complete series about 2 yrs ago and would Most Definitely recommend EVERYONE should read because they will truly enjoy them.. first book is about Melinda and Jack and you get to meet some of the other characters as well…
4.5 Stars
I really like this kind of story telling in a book that is typically considered contemporary romance. Yes, there is a couple whose growing romance is spotlighted, but it’s so much more than a simple romance. The town, homes, land, and businesses all are brought to life in the writing. There are numerous townspeople, as well as county …
Waiting for series on Netflex
Audiobook: Narrator – Therese Plummer
What a wonderful narration! I was immediately pulled into this story because of the narration. Ms. Plummer did an amazing job of both male and female voices, each distinct, never grating or irritating. This is definitely one of those audios that add to the story due to the performance rather than being a …
Really looking forward to this on Netflix and hoping they do this great read justice!! It’s the best!
Love the whole series and all the characters! Start to feel like you know them & that there really is a Virgin River.
I read the entire Virgin River series. It is one of those series I read about every two years. Fell in love with the characters in the books. Wish the series would continue on.
I love all the Virgin River series!
Love Robyn Carr books
I love all the Virgin River books. I even got my husband to read ALL of them!
A midwife, a soldier, an abandoned baby and a wonderful small mountain town… and Robyn Carr’s exceptional story-telling ability. This one remains firmly on my keeper shelf.
Strong female character with a well written story line. You just fall into each character as the story moves along. I also love that the small town of Virgin Rivers continues to grow with new characters but brings along the ones from the first book. You never are without the original cast of characters as you move forward with her additional …
Great series. I can’t wait for her next books
Love all of this series.
This is the first in a series abs I’m thrilled to know there are several more books to follow with this community and it’s wonderful characters.
I love this series. Wish the language was a little cleaner, but as the author commented that the language befitted the characters. Carr builds a town and the stories of the residents that just reach out and grab you. If such a place existed, I would visit it in a heartbeat.
I took this book with me to the lab and started reading it while waiting for a blood draw. I could not put it down and followed it with the second in the series. Both books were great so off I went to find all the series and am currently reading them in order. This is a wonderful series not only is it an original but it is well written. …
I loved it. The story kept you wanting to read all night!
