Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning.
After crushing on my best friend for years, I realize he’ll never want someone inexperienced like me. So I decide to get it over with, play the V-card once and for all with an anonymous … with an anonymous hook-up. The terms are simple: no talking, no names.
It isn’t as easy as it seems. Now I can’t get the handsome stranger who greeted me with soft kisses and gentle touches out of my mind. Those hands, those lips… But it was just a one-time thing, and I need to forget about him once and for all.
At least I know I won’t ever see him again—until I board a flight and catch sight of a familiar profile in the cockpit just as the door closes.

I fell in love with these characters. As much as I wanted to read their HEA I didn’t want the book to end!
This was a sweet, zero angst rom-com at its best. Teo and Jack had great chemistry and I fell in love with them from the get-go. Great side characters–even the entitled best friend who was so fun to hate! I devoured this in one sitting and left with a smile on my face. What more can you ask for?
This was so cute! I loved Jack and Teo. The plot was awesome and kept me hooked from start to finish. I am a little ashamed that I neglected house chores to read it, but it was so good I couldn’t put it down. We have two awesome men who both have their own hang ups, but just clicked from the start. There was steam that was off the charts, we got drama that done very well and we got a beautiful lobe sorry with 2 men that deserved that happy ending. I was honestly sad to see it end. 5 stars #2OCCJD
Tropes: age gap, first time, fake boyfriend
In the hopes of finally turning his best friend into his boyfriend, Teo decides he has to quickly lose his virginity to a random hookup to gain experience – and it turns out to be the best sex of his life. His hookup his rugged pilot Jack, who lives his with a no strings attached policy. But when Jack unexpectedly starts working for Teo’s boss, and they get stranded together for a weekend, they realize that it’s more than just sex between them.
Virgin Flyer oozed sex and romance. The characters are well defined, their hesitation about a relationship makes sense. You understand why it takes them so long to finally get together. Jack is just so incredibly hot, and the first time he and Teo have sex is fire on the page.
Sometimes you just need a book where really nice people get a happily ever after. I loved these guys and their friends and families, so much. Could not wait for them to realize what everyone already knew. Just first rate!
Adorable
This book was everything I needed for sweet with heat escapism. With lovely characters, a solid plot, and a relationship development to swoon over, Virgin Flyer is a fun read and superbly written.
I really, really liked this book. Both of the main characters were so likable and charming. My heart was in my throat during a few of the more touching moments. LOVED the ending. Definitely worth the read.
Such a great well written story. I enjoyed this book a lot. Teo and Jack were literally so cute.
-Dual POV
-Age gap (10 years)
-Cute and sexy moments
I needed to move around yesterday, dust off some Halloween decorations. But when I was done and wanted to sit on the couch, I was still totally wrapped up in this book, so candy crush and audiobook for me.
I purchased the audiobook on the recent 2-1 sale, so it was a complete win for me. I rarely read book blurbs, so I never know what I’m getting into. But I can’t go wrong with Lucy Lennox and wasn’t disappointed.
I want to say Virgin isn’t my favorite, but I always enjoy them despite my hesitation. What hasn’t everyone already told about Tao and Jack? Virgin Flyer is like a Disney movie with scorching hot sex. There was a villain, a virgin, and an airplane pilot. Sexy Disney movie, is that a thing?
No need to hesitate with this book; purchase and enjoy.
I really enjoyed this read. It was low angst between the two MCs and they fit together very well. Teo was a wonderful character if not completely naive about his bestie, who I never did like…Then you have Jack who is a bit clueless about what he really wants, until of course Teo opens his eyes to it over Grindr. I liked that they met on Grindr and it made sense. I also liked that neither knew how to get ahold of the other until they have a rare happenance. I also would literally never fly again if that was my first and only experience with any type of flying. So I thought the flying and then the sky diving was perhaps not sure realistic, but I have done things I did not think I was capable as well, so maybe it is. Jack and Teo’s relationship happens gradually after they reconnect and I like the fake boyfriend trope, and I liked that it did show both Jack and Teo what/who they really wanted. Michael Dean narrated this it was done well. Definitely recommend to someone looking for this type of story.
Beautiful story! Absolutely loved it! Fantastic characters and a compelling premise.
Loved it, really enjoyed the story line. Finished the second half in one go.
Cute, romantic, hot, opposites-attract, ten-year age gap, one-night-hook-up-but-gets-more-complicated story. Teo and Jack never saw the other one coming. Both just needed a hook-up that night for their own reasons, but life sometimes brings more chances to change up plans. Teo has been in love with his best friend for years. Jack is a pilot that has sworn off relationships. But these two manage to find a connection and get under each other’s skin. But neither was looking for a relationship.
I really liked both of these guys and how they had such big hearts and caring personalities. They had wonderful chemistry as well. This brings miscommunication, unexpected feelings, jealousy, and a bit of angst. But I enjoyed their journey. The side characters are also interesting and mostly likable. Except for the one I really wanted to throttle. Some of the parts involving Teo’s best friend frustrated me. and I did not like anything about him.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
After saying that however, I almost did not read this book because the title really bugs me. They say you are not supposed to judge a book by its cover, and I do not BUT I am a judgy bitch on titles. Lucky for me the blurb sounded spectacular and it was one of the buddy reads for TPAM so I decided what the hell let’s give it a go.
I loved Teo sooo much he was the absolute sweetest but Jack was deliciously handsome not to mention the bit of an age difference between the two made Jack that much kinder in the way he took care of Teo and looked after him from the moment they met. This book had a perfect mix of humor, heat and charm. Probably one of my favorites from 2020 so far and I cannot wait to read more from Lucy Lennox.
I loved the characters. The setting could have been anywhere and I likely would not have noticed because I was so obsessed with the characters. The relationship with one another, with friends and family it was fantastic. Oh except Chris. He was only good to hate.
A middle aged business exec finds his “Daddy”. They have a lot of obstacles to overcome in order to find their HEA, but they get there. This is the first in a series by author Lucy Lennox and is a must read before the sequel, even though the sequel is a stand alone novel. It gives you the background of the characters and you see how their relationship evolves as they both find everything that makes them happy.
“ALL THE FEELS!!!”
This was such a swoon worthy read!
O.M.G. How they meet was so intriguing.
I loved how sweet Teo was and how Jack became so possesive and protective of him.
Loved, Loved, Loved!!!
Narration was exceptional
This story just tugs at your heartstrings. My heart was breaking for Teo. He deserved to be treated so much better than he did by his friend Chris, who he has been pining for since they were kids. I wanted so badly for Teo to realize how lucky any man would be to be his. Teo is a total sweetheart and he would do anything to help out those he cares about. His one night with a stranger was one of the best things that he did for himself. I was totally behind Jack from the first time that they meet. He is an absolute dream boat and he is a sweetie pie. He showed Teo so much care and tenderness that it just melted my heart. I loved how Teo and Jack got each other so well, and I loved the care that they showed the other. They had a few bumps and miscommunications to work through, but I absolutely loved the ending of this story. This was my first Lucy Lennox book, but I am excited to read more from her.
Peaches & Fizz
Teo and Jack are “plane” fantastic! I am fervently in love with everything about them. “Here was the whole package: someone I admired and liked, someone sexy as he11 who also treated me like I was special, accepted my oddities, encouraged me, and was a superstar in bed.” Teo’s courage and sweet, caring nature made me want to hug him and never let go, and Jack has to be the best and most thoughtful (fake) boyfriend ever. I adore these two, their stubbornness, their chemistry and how they would do anything to make each other fly. I already had the biggest smile on my face from the beginning but the completely perfect ending had me feeling peachy and fizzy all over.
(Audiobook Review)
Teo is a nurse, and in love with his very straight best friend. All he wants is to forget about his unrequitted crush, have a one night stand with a stranger, lose his virginity and never see his anonymous hookup again. But it isn’t so easy to wine and dash especially when he boards his flight and catches a glimpse of the sexy pilot in the cockpit, who happens to be the very man he hoped he would never run into again. This was such a sweet romance. Teo and Jack were totally adorable. I loved the banter and the chemistry between them. Overall, this was a fun, engaging and low on the angst. Michael Dean did an amazing audio delivery. His seamlessly and smooth narration literally brings this book to life. A definite recommend if you like a sweet and fun, light hearted listen.
