Ysabelle
They say in order to find yourself you have to go home, but what if home is what you’re escaping from. I went to Miami to discover myself; never in my wildest dreams, did I think home would become a three-letter word.
VIP.
I was the dream.
I was the illusion.
I was the fantasy.
Until him…
Everything went to hell in hand basket the moment we laid eyes on each other.
I wanted him.
… eyes on each other.
I wanted him.
He wanted me.
Sebastian
I have always been a man who made decisions based on other people’s feelings, wants, and desires.
I was selfless.
I never wanted to hurt anyone.
Especially her.
The moment I met her… I wanted her.
I loved her.
For the woman she was.
For the woman she wanted to be.
But most of all…
For the woman she was, when she was with me.
This isn’t a love story, but a story about love.
Warning sex/drugs/language. Mature readers only.

I will be begin by stating that this is not your classic love story. It is a tale of how two lives collide and the two people that are so wrong for each other learn to find their way. If you are of the faint of heart and easily offended by adultery be aware that you have many of these topics involved. It was a beautifully written story that had me enthralled from the first chapter. M. Robinson did a wonderful job of intertwining the lives of these two characters who could not have been more different!
Sebastian (Sebby) Vanweel is a 32 year old yacht broker. He has always had an intense love of the water and architecture. He is a born caregiver and grew up in a loving a caring environment. He is not without twists and turns in his young adult life but eventually finds his way. He marries his one true friend and yes all seems perfect.
Ysabelle Tate is a young beautiful woman who has shall we say a less that stellar childhood. She raises herself and learns at an early age that you can only depend on the person you see in the mirror each morning. She was FORCED to grow up fast and has developed huge walls and defense mechanisms to help her cope and survive. She realizes at a very young age that her body is her ticket to a better life and gives her more power than she ever deemed possible. She becomes one of the elite group referred to as the VIPs and her life truly changes overnight!
A chance meeting between Ysa and Sebastian and the real tale begins! They know that they are from two different worlds but the attraction and electricity between them is undeniable. They attempt to ignore it but is stronger than either could imagine. I am experiencing a book hangover and I feel as though I have run a marathon!! Thank you for this wonderful story ! I cannot wait to read the Madam and find out what other secrets that are to be revealed !!!!
~~Michele McMullen~~
Ysabelle went through what no child should have to go through, her mother doing nothing to stop her. It broke her and as soon as she was 16 she left. When Ysabelle met the Madam, everything changed for her she became a VIP.
Sebastian and Julia were best friends, they did everything together and couldn’t be separated, the pair became a trio when Olivia was adopted by Julia’s family. The older they were Sebastian realised he had more feelings for one of the girls, but didn’t want to hurt the other, by doing so he was hurting them both.
Time moves on and both Sebastian and Ysabelle have the perfect life, more than they could have ever wanted. Then Sebastian meets Ysabelle, and everything changes.
Friends
I just finished VIP by Author M.Robinson
This book literally blew me away. It’s on my top 20 for 2021.
I will say there was only one scene that I wasn’t comfortable reading, but the rest f the book really amazed me.
Sebastian aka Sebby has known Julia aka Babygirl her whole life. They love each other with all of their herats best friends forever. Or so they thought.
Enter Olivia she’s Julia’s adopted sister and the person that makes Sebby weak in the knees. Fate is a real bitch in this book…..But I will say it was worth it
****3.5 Stars****
One thing you need to know about this novel before diving in, the romance does revolve around a married man and an escort. If fictional cheating is a hard limit for you, then Ysabelle and Sabastian’s story is definitely not the story for you. But if you’re like me and simply can’t get enough of the drama that comes along with this subject, hold onto your panties and dive on in, the water’s fine 😉
About VIP:
VIP is the first book in the VIP trilogy by M. Robinson and is told from Sebastian and Ysabelle’s point of views.
Ysabelle’s story starts off as a young child. Her mother is a neglectful piece of shit and her home is a revolving door for random men at all hours of the day. All she wants is what every other kid has. A family. As Ysabelle grows, she starts to see the world from her mothers eyes and relishes in the power she has over the male species.
Sebastian’s story is shined from a brighter perspective. He lives in a nice neighborhood with two parents who would do anything for him. He’s had one best friend his entire life, Julia, and would do anything for her. When Julia’s parents are unable to have another child, the decide to adopt a little girl who’s Julia’s age. Enter Olivia. Everything for Sebastian changes when Olivia steps into the picture. From the very moment this twelve year old locked eyes with Olivia, he felt something deep and soul crushing. As the *three musketeers* grow older, Sebastian realizes he can never have Olivia without initially hurting Julia, the girl who’s always loved him.
Years, and a few tragic moments later, Sebastian is married with a son and he’s the happiest he’s ever been. But as M. Robinson often likes to do, a hammer is thrown in the mix when he sets eyes on a woman that is the epitome of his past and ysabelle is the woman thrown in the crosshairs.
My Thoughts:
M. Robinson is well known for writing epicly dramatic novels. She’s also known for causing her reader’s to shed copious amounts of tears and throw their kindles against a wall, *okay it only happened a time or two*. So I was curious to see how it all started. I wanted to go back to the very beginning and eventually take the journey through all of M. Robinson’s work *or at least the books I haven’t had a chance to read yet*.
With that being said, I was surprised by this book. I liked the drama and the storyline but I wanted just a little bit more.
I loved getting a glimpse of Ysabelle’s past and witness her grow from a meek kid to a fiesty and slightly egotistical woman. A woman who knows what she wants and is willing to do absolutely everything in her power to get it.
Sebastian was a great friend throughout this novel. I even found him to be very respectful. Until the moment everything changed and he decided to start living for himself and stop living how others thought he should.
I don’t know if I can say I agree with his actions. Maybe if he and *his wife* were having issues and fighting all the time, or she was a total bitch to him, I would have been a little less uneasy about his straying ways. But the bottom line, there was nothing going on in his relationship that could cause this man to stray, he just saw something he wanted and went for it. To each their own, but I needed a little more conflict between the two and not just, my need for your deceased sister who I loved with my whole soul was stronger than my need for you, and this chick looks identical to your sister. Don’t get me wrong, it was great for a dramatic purposes but it didn’t set well with me.
As for Ysabelle, this woman is a hard ass and I couldn’t get enough of her! I loved the fact that she had a, no shits to give, attitude. She’s an escort and it isn’t something she is ashamed about. She loves sex, and trading pleasures with willing customers is something she thrives on. But throughout this novel, I felt a sadness for her. She showed strength on the outside but beneath the surface all she wanted was was what everyone craves, acceptance and love.
When Ysabelle and Sebastian first met, it was immediate sparks and undying passion. I felt that bone deep chemistry. And even though I was #teamwife from the start of their affair, my walls started to fall, and I started to look at the story from both relationships and all three sides instead of just one. I looked at it from the wife’s side and saw she had settled for the man she thought she should be with, I looked at Sabastian’s side and saw he settled for his wife because of his guilt towards her sister’s death, and I saw Ysabelle’s side. She just wanted to be loved and Sebastian tore down all of her walls that surrounded her heart from the very beginning. She started to show love, and that love was in the truest and purest form.
And then I realized, Sebastian is an asshole for putting both these women in this position but that asshole is only human and human emotions are often at times unpredictable.
Overall, VIP by M. Robinson was not only a scorching page turning erotica, it was also a heartbreaking romance. I do have to say, I felt the ending was rushed a bit. I wanted more of that undeniable chemistry I felt between Ysabelle and Sebastian and a little more angst between Sebastian and his wife during those final moments. But in the end, I did enjoy this heartstopping and jaw dropping novel! What can I say, I’m into drama…..that isn’t my own.

Where to start with this. Once I gave this a chance I really enjoyed this book. Yes it is slow moving in the beginning when you get both Sebastian and Ysabelle’s back stories but if you can get to the point when they finally meet then you will love this book. Having a very troubled upbringing Ysabelle has to grow up real fast and learn you only have yourself to rely on until she meets The Madam. Sebastian is from the opposite world, happy, normal upbringing, but when you put everyone else’s feeling above your own you tend to make the wrong choices. I truly loved the connection between these characters. I’m not a fan of cheating but the way this was written it was not what you think so please give it a chance. Told in dual POV; can be read as a stand-alone or can continue their story in MVP, book 3 in the VIP series.
