80yr old mate
Super cute read about a violet the shape shifting 80yr old. I felt like the guys could have used a bit more back story so that we can feel the connection. I really enjoyed the realtionships that violet had in the town and the inner dialogue. I enjoyed that she wasn’t the only one to find love in this book.
Violet, by Mia Harlan, is the first in the Spell Library break-off series from the Silver Springs series. It is a unconventionally funny and unique paranormal reverse harem story, that sets the stage for how the lucky ladies will find their mates.
As shifters and witches and vampires live and love together in an unassuming little town, we meet some individuals that even they don’t expect.
Lots of lust-filled components to a romance series.
I’m loving this new book series it’s so light hearted and full of magic with the introduction of violet to start us off that will lead us craving for more.with her adorable cat stacks that thinks he’s a dog which I found really funny to her bear shifter assistant friend nole who she’s got the hots for but has to remember to stay in her 80 year old form violet which also turns out to be her name and has to try not to turn in to her 20 year self.then there’s the fact that she’s amber’s sister and has to pretend she violet to keep her secret.things start to happen that violet can’t explain after her sister donates a romance book( love blooms) to the library.then there’s Liam a troll police man who comes in to spell library to pick his gran up and find that violet is his mate.he doesn’t know her secret and thinks there’s no chance for them and is confused as to why his mate would be so old.but violet is hiding a secret if revealed she’ll have to run away.one thing after another keeps happening that will keep you on your toes.like the fact she keeps meeting people like Colin Stanton(cash) the blood-mage who says they are mates and will do anything to be with her which sent violet running to the safety of her apartment.so far I can’t put this book down.I love the proves between violet and the other characters in the story and that it brings the lovable character from jewels cafe together.I found this story really funny like when violet and betty are trying to come up with a name for the blood-mage and at one point violet says vage which I though was hilarious and the flying dildos that helped her down the stairs when the lift was broke and I have to say this book dose not disappoint.like jewels cafe it’s a jem of a story and you’ll love every minute and won’t want to put it down and I can’t wait to read them all.
I enjoyed this storyline. The characters are well developed and engaging and full of chemistry. I enjoyed the smooth flow of the storyline. Kudos to the author for delivering a great storyline.

I freaking loved this story. It has so many componants that make it work. This book had me laughing and almost in tears. So you are going to meet Violet who is a librarian with a secret. Boy is a good secret. Violet gets a hold of a spelled book one day and her whole life changes. I can’t tell you what happens but you will laugh, get mad and be shocked. You will meet Cash, Liam and Nole who are confused with what is going on. However, their mate instincts don’t lie. I enjoyed reading this bool and highly recommend it.
The story line was good, the character work was great, and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was a great start to a new series. I look forward to the next one.

Violet was a funny, sweet, and Hilarious read. I was not really expecting to enjoy this so much, but it really was very good. I always enjoy good books that are funny, who does not like some humor in their stories? The word building was spot on, the pace was fast and the characters were entertaining.
If you are looking for a funny new read, I would suggest Violet, book one in the Spell Library series. I cannot wait to see where this leads to.
I loved this story. Do I wish it was a bit longer, yes I do but it was well written and the characters were stunningly developed. It has humor and a bit of mystery with some drama added to the mix. It is a story that is original and had me engaged the whole time. This is my first book by Mia Harlan and I enjoyed it very much. I didn’t feel like I had to read anything before this one to understand it. Violet is one that is kind, caring, and loving. Nole was so sweet and kind but kind of a stubborn man at the same time. Cash was fantastic and charming. Liam is strong and protective. Together they are something else. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint!!!!!!
What a great start for a new series!!! I absolutely loved everything about this book especially the cover that really caught my attention. Add-in their lots of intrigue, suspense, action, and plenty of laugh out loud moment to keep you hook from beginning to end. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series.
This book is wonderful. I love how funny it gets at times. The romance is also so sweet. This is a reverse harem but it is kept clean. As soon as I started reading this I could not put it down. I highly recommend to anyone that loves a magical romance. Violet is a great character and the fact she is a chameleon makes her so lovable and funny. This book and the whole series are great. I want to read them all.
When I saw the cover of this book, I was immediately confused as most RH books do not include old women. However, I was genuinely surprised and excited as I read it. Once I started it, I could not put it down. It made me laugh, smile, and immediately want more. Violet is an interesting character (both the older and the younger versions) and I love how she handles herself when things get tough. I am interested to see what happens in the next book in this shared universe because I am really starting to like it.
I have recently read this new novel by Mia Harlan. I don’t want to spoil anything for everyone who is going to read it, so all I have to say is the book doesn’t disappoint. It engaged me from start to finish and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters are well developed, the plot is engaging and Mia doesn’t disappoint. I would 110% recommend this book
This is a stand alone in a combined universe. I love how Mia got some old loved caracters in this one. I also love how everything went as of a nice mix of supes in this book. It was nice but not the best I’ve read from Mia. This will make you laugh out loud at times but it missed something. None the less a nice addition to your Spell Library collection. I’m collecting all if I can.
Well it’s about time a granny got her turn, even if it wasn’t really a granny. I didn’t know what to expect with this one but It was laugh out loud funny and yet still brought the sexy. If you enjoyed the Jewels Cafe series, this one is a must read to start the spin off series. I loved this. Can’t wait for more!
Violet had me giggling from the start. Reactions, world building and character growth really makes this book. The story is funny and compelling and well worth the read. I can’t wait for the bonus stories you all know will be coming.
this book was amazing!
This book was amazing and so much fun to read. Violet and the guys are all awesome and I just couldn’t seem to put down once I started. The author did a great job writing this and loving every minute of it.
Not what I was expecting from an RH but it was still really good. It’s a light fun read with plenty of humor and a good start to the series. The world building was very good and character development was good. It was obvious that you should read the series before this one though to know a lot of the characters and their histories. It was very original to have a granny harem and I look forward to keeping up with the Spells Springs series.

One word for this? Hilarious!
I just finished up reading this and it was an awesome read. Excitement, whiplash and so much fun. I loved the gramma paced action and how the mate bond is just THERE. There is even a lead towards the next book in the series and I can’t wait.
Absolute perfection. What a hilarious start to what I know will be another amazing series from Silver Springs! Violet is a feisty old woman that is not quite what she seems. Get ready for an amazing and quirky ride
