The previous book in the Murder in Savannah series proved that marriage is not the happy ending we imagine, but rather another beginning, and unfortunately for Tom and Addie it was yet another dance with danger. Violet Blood serves to wrap up this tangled web of romance and mystery in a way that is mostly satisfying. All Aboard the Savannah Murder Mystery Express, it’s a wild ride!
This book summed everything up and gave the answers to the lingering unanswered questions. A good ending to this 4 book series!!
This is the fourth book in the series and they need to be read in order.
Addie Sutton has finally married Tom but their happiness is short lived after she is shot by Valjean. Now Addie must fight for her life and figure out the real truth behind the necklace and why Valjean is so desperate to get it.
When Addie and Tom return to the US from Paris will they be able to go on with their lives normally or will they face new obstacles to overcome?
I really enjoy this author but I struggled with this book due to the character of Valjean and how he could always seem to find the main characters no matter where they were and he could get out of any situation at all. Unfortunately that put my rating down as I was just getting so frustrated with that aspect of the story.
I liked Addie and Tom and the reasons behind the getting married with everything crazy that was going on. I felt bad when Addie had to tell her parents, Jeff and Eleanor, that she got married and all the guilt they gave her. That being said as a parent I would be sad too.
I felt through the story that Valjean had to have an inside way of constantly being able to track down Addie and Tom although nothing was ever said which did frustrate me.
I liked how certain characters were given closure and came back and we saw a different side to them through some of the events that took place.
The end was kind of freaky but I was super glad how it all turned out!
Violet Blood is the fourth book, and finale, to the amazing Murder in Savannah series by Lindsay Marie Miller, and this book in no way disappointed, just like the rest of the series. I would strongly recommend reading the previous books in the series, including the prequel.
The road for Addie and Tom has never been safe or boring one that is for sure but these two stood strong by each other even when Addie had the largest twist thrown her way when she discovered she wouldn’t be able to carry her own children, after the sudden cliffy ending of the previous book.
While they Tom and Addie begin their adventure into marriage there are still many trials for them to overcome including secrets and lies along with the cursed emerald necklace that continues to plague them.
Violet Blood will send you on an emotional ride of many ups and downs. You will bet romance, suspense, mystery, and much more in this book and series. I would recommend this book to anyone, but be sure to read the start of the series first.
The ending didn’t disappoint but getting here was so frustrating. A good ending to the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I liked reading Violet Blood. I haven’t read the first three books of the series of I think that I was missing some of the storyline. The story and characters were good, as well as, the pace of the story.
This the 4th and final book in the series, and while I really loved this book,,, I’m sad to see the series end. This book is packed with all the FEELS!!! Romance, mystery, heartache, loss and LOVE! With everything that Tom and Addie have dealt with throughout the series, this one is by far the hardest one yet. The love between Tom and Addie is beyond words. This book, this whole series is a must read!!!
Wow this book was full of drama, sadness, murder and a ton of mystery. The struggle of deciding what to do that is right and even when the world is telling your doing it wrong you go ahead and march forward. Tom and Addie really had a lot going on being married young and then dealing with finishing high school and families. Also trying to stay safe. This book is one that follows the other with the mystery of why they are being hunted down, what is the big secret of the necklace…..
What a great wrap-up to the series! The mystery of the necklace is revealed and I have to say I did not expect it. Really glad I stumbled across this series.
Book four in series, questions answered after more twists, turns, heart breaks. Good resolutions to book one, two, three. I know it’s the end, but they are youngsters, maybe can be revisited in future? . Just a thought. Recommended sweet heat of a book.
Violet Blood by Lindsay Marie Miller is the fourth and final book in her Murder in Savannah Series and what a finale this one turned out to be. This series has yet to disappoint me and this story is no different. Continuing the story Addie and Tom, we get to see the continued ups and downs of their relationship and how their love for each other has brought them through so much. The devotion and true love that these two have is so real and raw that I swear I could feel it coming through the pages to me. There were so many things that should have made this couple end their love affair but the trials and tribulations only seem to make them stronger together. The discoveries, secrets and revelations that these two experience together made this such a pleasure to get to read. The road for these two has not always been the safest, but Tom is very protective of Addie and would do anything to keep her safe. The evil in their lives has attempted to tear them down multiple times but so far the love between these two has surpassed all of it. This book is one that keep my emotions on a rollercoaster, from romance to steam to suspense and even pure evil all made an indelible impression on any reader who picks this series up. If you are looking for a series that is bound to stay with you for longer than the reading, this is one that need to add to your collection. I can’t wait to see what Miller brings to her readers in the future because I will be first in line to check it out!
Violet Blood- Lindsay Marie Miller
5-star review
Violet Blood by Lindsay Marie Miller is the fourth and final book in the Murder in Savannah series. This was the perfect conclusion to this murder mystery storyline. I would strongly recommend reading this series in order as each new book follows directly where the last one left off, they are not intended to be read as standalones. This series is action-packed, dark, twisted and so dramatic, there’s always something going on which kept me highly entertained the whole way through.
Addie and Tom’s love story is drastically different than the average relationship, they are constantly surrounded by trouble all because of jewelry. Even though I couldn’t relate to them I still managed to connect with them, after reading the first book I felt so invested in their story and I love how it all turned out. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for their next mystery romance read!
Violet Blood (Murder in Savannah Book 4) by Lindsay Marie Miller is the final book in the series. This series should be read in order so you understand the back story and all the characters involved. I have been looking forward to reading this the final story and Lindsay didn’t let us down. The writing and the pace of the story flow easily and nd we have watched the characters grow both as individuals and together as they have fought their way through all that has been thrown at them. All the lies and deceit, the twists and turns and the mystery and mayhem have made them so much stronger together.
It’s a little sad to say goodbye to these characters as we have been through so much together but everything must come to an end and Lindsay ended it well.
Violet Blood by Lindsay Marie Miller
Stars: 5
This is the last book of Addie’s and Tom’s story. I have been excited to read more about them and to see how everything ends. I was not disappointed. They have been through so much, and they continued to fight through. Like the previous books, there is mystery, adventure, and action. This whole series is so jam packed of great scenes that it was hard to put down! In this book, we get answers, endings, and new beginnings. I also loved that we get more of Tom’s perspective. Lindsay Marie Miller has written a great series that you will not disappoint you!
Violet Blood is the 4th book in the Murder in Savannah Series by Lindsay Marie Miller, and also the final book in this amazing series that I have grown to love. Following Addie and Tom, seeing them grow as characters in these book have been amazing. So many ups and downs have shaped them throughout this whole series. So many secrets have been ousted, so many discoveries along the way. The road to this book has not always been easy and sometimes very dangerous. The book again grabbed me and held me to the end just as the others before this one, but as I kept getting closer to the end, I dreaded it since I knew I would be saying goodbye to Addie and Tom.
Lindsay Marie Miller, you gave us an amazing series that I know I will read many times, because Addie and Tom grew on me and gave them an ending they deserve. I truly cannot wait to read more by this author.
Violet Blood is the forth and final book in the Murder in Savannah series by Lindsay Marie Miller and I can’t believe it’s over.
We pick up where we left off and the excitement and suspense doesn’t end and all I kept thinking the entire time I was reading this book was, haven’t these poor kids dealt with enough twists, turns and life altering events?
This entire series is amazing and was so glad I decided to pick up the first book.
Violet Blood
Murder in Savannah Book 4
By Lindsay Marie Miller
This is part 4 of the series. This novel includes mystery, romance and fighting for family.
Addie is once again going to prove her strength. She is still in love with Tom. She has got to recover her injuries, and get back to school. Next is to go to college. So much that could go wrong, has gone really, really bad. Will she make it through this series of trouble? Will she find the family she always has wanted?
Tom is so responsible for a 17 year old teen. He has got to defend the love of his life. Just to get away they go on vacation. Paris is such a beautiful place to visit. But is it? Find out how this series ends.
Lindsay Marie Miller really pulled out all the stops in this series. What a high action romance story. Even more so, she brings it all together and….Just WOW! I am in love with her characters in this page turner. I was hooked and completed this story in one night. All because I could not put it down. This series is well worth your time.
Violet Blood is the conclusion to the Murder in Savannah series from Lindsay Marie Miller. I have enjoyed this series. Each book has gotten progressively better culminating into the well packed and adventurous series.
In this one we get to finally see how everything will turn out for Addie and Tom. Both of them want nothing more than a happy future together. Addie is struggling especially with this feat since finding out she can no longer carry her own child. This is following the crazy cliffhanger we were left with in the last book, Pearl White. In that we were left wondering what was going to come next after Addie is shockingly shot.
“I’d always wanted a normal life. Family. Parents who loved me. Children of own. Without them, happiness was a million miles away.”
There is a lot of obstacles between the pages of this novel that Tom and Addie face. Several of them were a shock and a twist that I didn’t see coming. A few were predictable, and this book started out stronger than it ended for me. That would be the reason for my four stars. I enjoyed this series I just almost felt as if there could have been a novella between the last one and this one somewhere in the middle. It felt a little disjointed and I did find myself a bit frustrated with the characters in middle of the book. Other than that it was an overall good finish to the series and I look forward to see what will come next from the talented Lindsay Marie Miller.
Violet Blood by Lindsay Marie Miller is the fourth and final book in the Murder in Savannah book series. The book needs to be read in order of series. I think this would be hard to understand a lot of the story without having read the other books. The story draws to a conclusion of the story of Tom and Addie. The two of them are young and hopeful but have had many challenges to endure through the series. The series is for Young Adults but enjoyable by that age and older. The story contains some romance, mystery, and suspense. I was drawn into the story in the first book and wanted to understand the mystery that was unraveling before the characters. I was glad to get my hands on this book because it left off at a critical part at the end of the prior book. I will be picking up more in the future from this author.
Violet Blood (Murder in Savannah Book 4) By Lindsay Marie Miller. I highly recommend reading this amazing series in order as it’s meant to be read. Each book in this series has taken readers on an adventure of Tom and Addie’s story. We’ve watched these two grow in a sense and it’s been great to watch. This book is the final one and honestly all I can say is the author does a wonderful job of bringing it to a close even though I’m not ready to say goodbye to them yet. I’ve been not so patiently waiting for this book and it was well worth the wait. This one had me laughing and crying at many times. Seeing all that these two have to go through can be tough but I think the author wrote it well. This book was filled with love, suspense, heartache and a bit of mystery. The entire series leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what you’ll learn next. The storyline is well paced and thought out with characters you root for. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend this whole series!
