“It is riddled with suspense, and you will not want to put this book down.” –Dialogue with Doris The beat of the music was thumping and vibrating in her skull. It was getting harder to walk straight, and he offered to take her back to her room. She should have said no. When she woke up, she didn’t remember much. All she knew was that her life would never be the same again. Ferris Hall was … never be the same again.
Ferris Hall was mutilated and left to bleed to death in his Valencia, California, motel room. The murder is one of the most heinous that FBI Special Agent Brandon Fisher has ever seen. And the victim is connected to one of their very own, Special Agent Paige Dawson.
The timing couldn’t be worse for Paige—she’d finally tracked Hall down after years of effort, planning to confront him about his actions from years ago. Hall had been one of several men who’d raped Paige’s friend, and while the statute of limitations has run out and tied the hands of law, Paige wanted to make Hill face the fact he’d destroy a young woman’s life. Yet, instead of accomplishing her goal, she ends up in the back of a police cruiser.
Now Paige is facing off with a hard-nosed detective determined to stick a murder charge to a Fed. But with the trained eyes of the FBI on Hall’s case, it’s becoming more and more obvious that the evidence lends itself to a serial killing, not an isolated incident. And as long as the local authorities are focused on Paige, the real murderer is still out there. Possibly waiting to strike again.
Violated explores the cost of revenge and being unable to let go of the past. Wickedly clever, you won’t want to put this killer thriller down. Fans of Lisa Regan, Robert Dugoni, and Kendra Elliot will be totally addicted to this twist-filled page-turner.

This is book 5. The question remains DO YOU KNOW WHO BRANDON FISHER IS – SILLY ME CAN’T EVEN REMEMBER HIS NAME – KEEP CALLING HIM FRAISER. There is NOTHING memorable about this character. I have never read a series where I did not get a good feel for the main character, like them or hate them but something ANYTHING..but sadly still nothing. AND THIS BOOK HAS A HORRIBLE ENDING – LITERALLY LIKE WHAT JUST HAPPENED, IS THAT REALLY THE END, IT CAN’T BE, SWIPE SWIPE SWIPE…YEP SHE ENDED IT RIGHT THERE…with no ending at all.
I WAS REALLY STUPID and bought the series..BOUGHT THEM…did not get them for free, so I am completing them, but AS TO THE CHARACTERS…another book with PAIGE WHINING about Brandon – GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK. She knew he was married but chose CHOSE to have the affair. WHY DO WOMEN THAT MESS WITH MARRIED MEN SEEM TO SUDDENLY THINK IT WILL BE BETTER/DIFFERENT WITH THEM…and when it is not WHY DO THEY STILL PINE FOR THEM LIKE THEY LOST SOMETHING SO GREAT…I am tired of this type of women being portrayed in a STRONG WOMEN JOB but weak-ass personality. and Brandon MILK TOAST CHARACTER at best from what I read. To continue to have them at each other – get over it already. Why would EITHER OF YOU want to be with someone that cheats and someone that advocates cheating..LOTS OF TRUST THERE – great solid foundation for a relationship.
You get more of Jack than you do Brandon.
THERE IS JUST NOTHING DEEP OR INFORMATIVE OR EXPLANATORY OR ANYTHING to make this character stick. I will finish this series AND NEVER KNOW WHO THESE CHARACTERS ARE. That is the biggest disappointment in continuing to read. YOU FEEL NOTHING…I don’t care if I do not LIKE a character, at least you know and feel enough about them TO NO LIKE THEM…here you could care less. Just get me through to the KILLER ENDING…oh wait there is none of that either.
THE ONLY REDEEMING QUALITY OF THIS SERIES – NONE OF THE CHARACTERS – but the stories are really good so at least it is not SUFFERING THROUGH because I am at least finding the cases to be really intriguing and keeps me wanting to read.
It is a shame because I read the Madison knight series, and liked the first in this series, but it has steadily NOT GROWN THE CHARACTER TO ANYONE INTERESTING AT ALL.
THE SADDEST PART, or hardest to understand/accept – most authors get better into a series, the characters become MORE…this series, the characters are less…you get more of the other cops, other characters than you do the main characters. THERE IS NO BETTER AS YOU GO…more like worse and worse and the endings are getting flat, predictable and suddenly just OH GONE ON LONG ENOUGH TIME TO END IT with nothing..JUST NOTHING.
I will finish what I bought, but will definitely NOT buy more.
It’s hard to put book down good book
Another wonderful exciting book from this author. I love this series. It is full of emotion and action. I love the characters. The plot is exceptional too. I want to read more`from this series and this author!
This one was a “can’t put it down” read. Captivating plot. I will definitely read more by this author.
I like her books. Keep my interest to discover the ending
If you like virtue signalling, an inconsistent narrative voice, weak primary characters, and an author who cannot be bothered to research her subject, you’ll love this one.
Great, the author is not guilty of thought-crimes. Once, perhaps, letting the audience know what a character thinks of something can be helpful in developing the character, but constant explanations of her opposition to “bigotry” is trite.
The author should visit fbi.gov to see what the FBI’s BAU actually does. If she wanted a team that does the things that she has them do, she should have–like Clive Cussler and NUMA–created a entity to do them. The BAU is a support entity. They don’t take over cases. They don’t claim jurisdiction where there is clearly no federal law at stake. And Paige should have been fired and prosecuted for misuse of government resources and for corruption. The fact that she seamlessly joins the investigation is beyond ridiculous.
No police officer considers it a badge of honor to have shot anyone in the line of duty. If any, like Brandon, go through the day hoping they don’t have to, they need to find a new line of work. That attitude gets people killed.
I cannot believe that someone has written a series without doing any research on her chosen subject. Read Frederick Forsythe, Jack Higgins, or Craig Thomas and see how research can improve a story (without bogging down the story-line like Tom Clancy was wont to do).
Violated is a on the edge of your seat mystery with great story-line that have your hooked from the first page.
I love your books. They keep me reading night and day. Thank you
I enjoyed the book and it kept my interest. The point of view kept changing between 3 people which was interesting but sometimes confusing. It is certainly an author I would read in the future and I appreciated that there wasn’t unnecessary foul language. The ending felt very abrupt. Definitely worth the read.
A great mystery!!
good read
Very good story line. I read straight through.
The plot of this story was original and unsuspecting.
Good story, characters were interesting, no deep thought required, just an enjoyable read.
Great read
Good character development. Haven’t read any of the other books in the series, but felt I was up to date due to details in the book.
Always enjoy this author’s books
weak story line
Good read. Storyline is hot and grasping up to the point of the killing spree where it gets convoluted a bit. If you are into senseless murder the plots will get your attention.
Great read.
