IslaI can barely remember my life before I was taken to the breeding facility. For two years, I’ve been kept naked and helpless as they probed me, violated me, and used me.But this new doctor seems different than the ones before him. He has dragged me from my broken shell and captured my attention so that I truly blush as he examines me. When I attempt to escape he punishes me harshly, but the … me harshly, but the pain and humiliation leave me burning with need. I’ve even begun to think he might care about me.
Adam
I didn’t plan to fall in love with one of the girls held captive here. I have no more choice about my role in all of this than she does. But to keep her safe, I will have to teach her to obey.
I will make her surrender completely. I will make her mine. Then we will find a way to leave this terrible place forever.
Publisher’s Note: Violated: A Dark Sci-Fi Romance is a stand-alone novel which is the first book in the Stolen Future series. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

This is a strange and twisted read which left me feeling slightly unsettled. It’s by no means the darkest romance i have ever read but it has many very warped elements and situations.
The whole story was unusual.
Book 2, Stolen Future. Apocalyptic conspiracies, terror, destruction, and the potential for redemption. Aria Adams is superb!
In a waking coma, paralyzed, drugged with no movement impossible. This is Isla’s existence. There are three certainties. She’s given birth. This will be her life until she can’t produce children. Then she’ll be sent to an ELM (end-of-life) machine. Her only respite? The beautiful dreams while she’s sleeping. After two years of this nightmare, a person from her dreams appears. Adam’s a doctor. Isla desperately tries to tell him she’s not like the thousands of others there. How? Adam knows she can’t move or talk. But how can he know she’s conscious? Then fate steps in. She wakens when Adam briefly takes her off her medicines. Her paralysis is gone. She tries to escape. Two years of forced sedation have weakened her to the point she can barely move. Soon captured by guards, she’s taken to Adam for torture and death. He’s done many things but murder? Not happening! A plan forms to get him and Isla out. It’s more than risky. The Brotherhood has eyes and ears on him 24/7. But miracles are real. Adam’s plan works. But once outside, what happens next? Isla’s been brainwashed her entire life. She’s recalcitrant, far from obedient. Adam knows the reality of this world. He should. His past exposed him to every existing danger. Isla believing him is another story altogether. Thus Isla’s first punishment is incurred. Spanked? Shocked? Incredibly hot? Turned on? Yes, to all of it. How? Is she really that damaged? Deciding to go to Novara, how are they to get there? Walking is out of the question. Isla’s body can’t do that after two years of forced inactivity. Fortune favors them again, but Adam’s suspicious. Isn’t this a little too easy? What awaits them? Is it chaos, or will they find what they’re looking for? And both Adam and Isla harbor secrets neither is willing to divulge. Adam’s not what he appears. He harbors darkness in his soul, a bit of which has already appeared. He wants Isla in ways he can’t reveal. And Isla? She senses Adam’s darkness, embraces it. She’s not afraid of him. Quite the opposite. She’s irresistibly drawn to him. Again, is she that broken? Or is it something else? Misunderstandings abound. Events spin out of control. There’s danger around every corner. Can either survive this new life? When Adam finally does exactly what Isla’s expected all along, everything crashes around them. What will it take for them to survive in this world where nothing’s certain? Only one thing will make a difference, setting aside preconceptions and fear. They have to open up to each other, darkness and all. They have to trust! Is that even possible? If not, there’s no hope at all!
Aria Adams has again taken us to a disturbing apocalyptic future, but this time it’s a different world from Hunted. The last doctor on Earth and a woman imprisoned in a breeding facility with only one purpose. The dichotomy is very apparent. A doctor’s Hippocratic oath states “first do no harm.” Adam’s had no choice but to harm. But can he save at least one life? Isla and Adam are mesmerizing. They’re completely opposite in every way. Adam seem to have had so many advantages. Isla’s had nothing. But the secrets Adam harbors and the darkness he sees in himself gnaw at him constantly. Isla’s terrified, tentative, can’t seem to function in this new world. Could two more different people exist? Yet Ms. Adams makes this work, and it works so very well. While this is a standalone novel, in some ways it continues the story begun in Hunted. Again, Ms. Adams has a true talent for storytelling. The realism of this story, elements of BDSM incorporated into a post-apocalyptic world (the last place you’d expect it), threats, and uncertainty. All of these carry a tone of realism that’s both terrifying and erotic at the same time. Violated is fantastic! I can’t give it anything other than five stars. This book is a must read, and Aria Adams has proven that Hunted wasn’t just a one off. She has another winner on her hands!
One final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language, some dark non-sexual themes, as well as sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to a book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
