Love is meant to be a fairytale. But I’m more of a nightmare kinda guy.Dear Beth, Your frizzy hair. The waterfall of enthusiasm in your eyes…
Talented.
And so broken on the inside no amount of adhesive can ever put me back together again.
I have everything, Beth. And at the same time, I have nothing.
You have nothing and yet, somehow you manage to have everything.
Something needs to change.
So, I’m gonna make you an offer.
One Hundred Thousand Dollars for the chance to ruin you for good.
Leave the offer on the table, you’re screwed.
Take it, you’re screwed.
Either way, Beth, you lose.
But apparently so do I.
Sincerely,
Your Bully Husband

Vile Intentions by Savannah Rose and Amelia Gates is my first read by them and certainly will not be my last. I love bully romances set in high school or college. Maverick is a really big d*ck with secrets and Beth is the focus of his cruelty. So much angst and high school drama going on that I couldn’t put it down. They hate each other until they don’t. I will definitely try another of their books.
I really enjoyed this story. Even though there were a few confusing parts to it, with the whole engaged/married back and forth. The story itself was engaging and kept my interest. The confusing parts did not really take away from the plot or the pace in my opinion. The characters were well written. Bethany is a fierce lead that I rooted for and Maverick was a jerk i loved to hate but ended up loving.
I enjoyed the development of both characters, and how they matured. Watching them fall in love and realize a HEA. So if you are looking for a really good read, I would recommend Vile Intentions.
Maverick is a rich bully who needs Beth to do him a favor. She needs money. They strike a deal that begins an unholy alliance of these two enemies. “Vile Intentions” has a lot of mature emotions for a teen drama. The story has an engaging plot that explores the making of a “monster” and truly lives up to the adage that “hurt people hurt people”. Beth is a strong character that puts up with some hideous treatment that usually goes without punishment. She is refreshing, loyal and caring. Maverick evolves and achieves some redemption at the end but could have done more to atone for his (and his female friends) bad behavior. I like this story. It kept me engrossed until the end and provided a satisfying HEA.

What an epic read.
It’s been a while since I’ve truly hated a male lead character in a book, but Maverick is as vile as they come and he makes you hate him from the very beginning. He reeks of privilege and an ego that knows no bounds. He is horrible to Bethany and then makes it seem like he’s doing her a favor by offering her a deal to marry him. Will Maverick be able to redeem himself? Or will he continue to torment Bethany with his vile intentions? This is an excellent read with relatable characters and a truly wonderful, emotional story. I definitely recommend this book as a must read!
I could cry. So so so so so so amazing. I cried and cried some more. Sad tears and happy tears. I fell in love and fell in anger. This story gave me and made me feel so many emotions.
He’s loud, obnoxious, willing to throw money at anything and completely n utterly out of control.
She’s the good girl, the studious girl, the poor girl.
They find themselves thrown together to save each other. Can two people who are complete opposites learn to survive side by side..?
This is a story all about discovering your truth and being the best you can be.
I wanted to bond with Maverick being a fellow Brit but oh my gosh he was everything I hate in a character until suddenly he wasn’t.
I went from dispicing him to loving the bones of him in the blink of an eye. I majorly swooned over him!
Bethany is miss sensible, but when she flashes her wild side she becomes an amazing character! I loved it when she was forced out of her comfort zone!
This for me fits into both the slow burner and bully category and Savannah Rose has done a wonderful job.
Theres a bit of everything in this book. Angst and drama, tears of both joy and heartbreak and last but no means least a dash of darkness.
What more can you possibly need, or want…
Wow I had a great time with this storyline. The characters are well developed and engaging. I enjoyed the smooth flow of the storyline.

An enemies to lovers book and the first one I’ve read from this author. The plot is great and the characters both have some flaws to them and have amazing chemistry that seems to annoy them.

I’m not sure how I feel about this book. I despised Maverick’s character in the beginning, it doesn’t really seem like he redeemed himself even in the end. And yet, I was interested enough to read the whole book.
I love a good bully romance but this one fell a little flat. I had a hard time with the setting being high school instead of college. It did have the typical rich bully jock Maverick and the shy smart girl Beth with a your mean cheerleaders thrown in. As I read the story it did get better and better. The writing was well done and it kept me engaged. It may have had a bit of a slow start but picked up as the connection between the two main characters was revealed as well as the duplicity of the supporting characters. In the end up rooting for their HEA.

This has been one of the best bully romances I have read in a long time. So glad I got this arc opportunity from this new author to me. At first reading I really did not like Maverick at all. Although he came across as a troubled soul he was really cruel and encouraged his entourage to be cruel and nasty to Beth. Beth was a strong girl with a very kind heart and as the story unfolded it became apparent that there was more to their story than first thought. Reading the book plenty of emotion s were stirred and what an interesting story it was. If I could have given it more than 5 stars I would have as it was a pleasure to read. I do recommend you read this super book.

Maverick is one rude, obnoxious, condescending, self-serving idiot with a very narrow-minded view of everyone apart from himself and his clique of rich friends. Who are all back-stabbing & self absorbed. Whereas Bethany (FMC) is open-minded, respectful, quiet but hard working. Shes had to work for everything in her life. Until an opportunity falls into her lap but its also brings one of her bullies a lot closer than she’d like. I couldnt help but like Bethany. Her character becomes more confident throughout the book which i loved. When we find out more about Maverick’s background it kind of explains why he is like how he is. This book is not so much a bully romance (at least i didnt think so myself) even though theres bullying in it but it is about misjudging people, love, respect and family. By the end of it i was hoping that they would end up together. Just a great read
