In Viking King’s Vendetta Sky Purington gives us a rollercoastrer ride full of demons, dragons, seers, and Vikings of myth and legend. She entices her readers on every page as the twists and turns of this story make this book one to be read in one sitting. I could not put it down and totally enjoyed the many world included within. You main characters are written with such strength and purity that you fall in love with both of them. Sven is your hunky typical male burdened wuth protecting his people and his mate. The time travel aspect gives such a twist as Emily his mate spent years living in the 21st century becoming an independent strong woman fit to be his queen and rule by his side. You will totally fall in love with Sven and Emily and their amazing cast of characters. I cannot wait to read the second book in this series.
I love time travel romance so there was no doubt I would love this book. It picks up from another story so I did feel a little lost as to the characters and story lines so I would definitely reccomend reading any previous books. With that said, I love this story! Intrigue, action, Viking Warriors, seers and Dragon shifters. Emily and Sven have amazing chemistry so I was pulled in to the story from the very beginning. Definitely reccomend!
Sven and Emily’s story is the start of what I think will be an incredible tale. I loved the action, suspense and mythology in the story. It’s well written with explanations within the story, as well as a glossary. Looking forward to the rest of this epic saga.
Rich in mythology this new fantasy series was full of unpredictable twists and turns. I enjoyed the story but I felt like I was missing something. I’m not sure if there’s previous books that should’ve been read before this but I felt like I jumped into the middle of a series rather then the first book.
Other then that I enjoyed the story and the characters. I loved the romance and their journey together.
