It is always sad to say goodbye; but Vice’s story is an amazing ending to this five star series with an epilogue that sets everything in a perfect conclusion… Alas to Oliver and world of love, lust and victory!
Oh my my my talk about saving the best for last, because that is what Dani did. I knew each book I read in the Sins of Seven series the level of heat would go up, but holy moly this book was hot af and now I’m sad that it’s the last and the series is over. No spoilers here, but it does shed the light if you’ve read the other stories in the series about Oliver who was a mystery till now. Omg this book sucked me in with the first word to the very end. I absolutely couldn’t put it down.
This is definitely a must read it can be read as a standalone, but if you’ve not read the 1st book why not start there. This whole series is amazing.
This is just my opinion and my review
At first I was not liking the way the story was going but I’m so glad Mrs.Rene came through she sure didn’t disappoint. Oliver was/is more then what I was expecting and I just have to love him even more. He was all of what I expected on a older man to be more mature more confident in himself and heartbroken as well and at the same time so sweet with his submissives. He just have to steal my heart. Now I’m just sad an seeing all my seven sinners go but that is just life you have to let them go. I hope there might be a spin-offs of the series some of them that we already met in this series and some new one’s too.
WOW! What an ending to an incredible series.
Those that have followed this series from the start and like me have been waiting for Mr. Oliver Michaelson’s story, the wait is over.
Oliver Michaelson likes to have control and has done for a long time. That’s what makes him a Master at what he does. That’s why he has a long list of people waiting to be trained by him. But when he takes on both Chance and Cayleigh, at the same time, it’s not as simple as he first thought.
Can he keep his control?
Oliver’s world is controlling and complicated. He doesn’t let anyone in, he keeps everything to himself, doesn’t let people get too close.
Can Chance or Cayleigh break through his shell?
An emotional, heart breaking conclusion to the Sins of Seven Series that still has everything I’ve come to love from this series, dark twists, pain and love.
Although I’m a sad to see this series end, it’s been one heck of a wild ride.
Wow… what an amazing story! I was so enamored and enthralled with this book. This one was by favorite of them all!
I loved the dynamic and the taboo themes! Oliver, Cayleigh and Chance were so interesting and intriguing.
This was powerfully written and I felt like I was in this book with them, which I enjoyed quite a bit. Those steamy scenes, raw emotions, intense feelings, and vivid details had me hooked from the beginning!
Highly recommend this series, you won’t regret it!
DREAMY’S REVIEW
“I want him to lose control. To see a man like him lost in pleasure is erotic in itself.”
This is the last book of her standalone series and even though I did read a couple out of order, I FELL IN ABSOLUTE LOVE.
MFM/MM romance?! Dark romance?! Erotic?! BDSM?! YES. ALL OF THE YES’S!
“My life is perfect, but my story isn’t. My tastes are frowned upon. However, I don’t allow society to dictate my proclivities. I’m cruel. I’m cold. I’m heartless. The list of submissives wanting me to train them is endless. But when my newest student walks in, I’m challenged in every way.”
Vice got me all hot and bothered, let me tell you that! It’s so well-written, dark, intense, gritty, so captivating, and on top of that, it holds so much depth!
Dani Rene has consumed most of my free reading time with her sinful world, and there’s no regrets at all! I’m IN LOVE!
Every time I read a book of Rene’s, I go in completely blind because she always blows me away with the way she tells a story and develops her characters! She delivers books with just more than darkness and kink.
She fills them with raw emotion and layered characters. She gives a depth to them that you least expect!
You get that here with Oliver, Chance, and Cayleigh as they wove their relationship.
“To let in a person and show them everything. All the pain, all the heartache, and all the happiness.”
Sexuality. Beautiful. Powerful. Moving. Healing. Erotic. Painful. Exploring. Love.
This was more than just BDSM and erotica.
This story is about self-discovery and realizing your worth.
This story is about about allowing yourself to be TRUE to yourself.
This story is about finding the beauty in darkness.
I’m always sad to see a series go, but Dani Rene always comes out with such amazingness! I cannot wait to see what she has up next!!
Five dark and steamy stars:
This book involves three people: Oliver – the Dom. Cayleigh – the Submissive. Chance – the Switch. If you don’t know what these words mean…..You are either in for a learning experience or this might be the wrong book for you.
Oliver doesn’t love. He controls. He regulates. He dominates. But he doesn’t love.
Cayleigh knows what she wants. She wants to be dominated. She wants to be shown how to live that life. But she also knows she has bigger plans for herself.
Chance wants love. And there is one person that he has always loved, Oliver. But he knows he can’t have him in that way.
But what happens when Oliver gives Cayleigh and Chance both the opportunity to learn from him. To experience what it is like to be a Dom and and Sub.
Will Oliver be able to let his guard down and find love? Will Cayleigh find what she is looking for? Will Chance be able to break down Oliver’s walls and get the love he wants and needs?
I don’t read many M/M books but I am glad I read this one. Oliver, Chance, and Cayleigh are a great combination. They each have something the others want.
I think that there was really good character development and I think this book can open someones eyes to something new.
Great job Dani!
Oliver – A Master – An Enigma – A Sadist – Alone
This was a long overdue story, at least for me, he is one of my favorites from the Sins cast.
Oliver has always stood out in this series, just there hovering in the background but claiming all the light. When I finally heard his secrets were next to be revealed – To say I got excited would be a vast understatement.
Rene’ gave Oliver’s story all the darkness and delicious sensuality that was his due along with some very poignant moments between him and his “trainees” – Chance and Cayleigh.
His story was everything I hoped for – the wisdom that came with his age, the kindness that hid beneath his stone exterior, the glimpses of his humanity (this was a big one for me, the moments that we caught a glimpse of the real Oliver)
There were some moments I was a bit fearful of what was going to happen but in the end, everyone got there HFN
This story contains detailed power exchanges, BDSM, and Sadism
Oliver is such a complex man. He past id filled with so much pain.hats why he has shut his feelings off and has become the stone faced dom he is today. After he mets Chace and Cayleigh that all changes. So much going on n this book. Read it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great book! Great conclusion to the Sins of Seven Series! Oliver was always a tough cookie to figure out. I wondered if Oliver’s story would be told. Thank you Dani for this final book!
Finominal Finally!
I received an ARC from this author’s book and voluntarily reviewed it.
This book is from a hot and heavy novel about BDSM, and the end of a series.
Oliver, Dom and sadist, trains people to become submissive without making a difference whether it is a woman or a man. He knows what he wants and simply accepts; on the other hand, he is closed, controlled and uncompromising until he accepts two new subs. Cayleigh and Chance and guides them to their dark world of domination and submission and desire.
Only Oliver’s world is controlling and complicated. He does not let anyone in, he keeps everything to himself, does not let people get too close.
Chance or Cayleigh could break through his barrier.
A fantastic conclusion to Sins of Seven Series, was all I wanted and more.
Thank you Dani René for the excellent work my love.
Omg I loved this book so much. I didn’t want to finish it coz I didn’t want to say goodbye to them. This is the final book in Sins of Seven series where all books can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend you read them. They are all hot and steamy as f*ck. And this one was no exception. Aaahhh god guys I am telling you, you better read it alone at home. At some scenes I was breathing so hard and all those hot waves were running all over my body I needed a minute to myself.
Oliver…OMG where should I start with him…he is so Dominant and I swear I wanted to be his sub. He trains submissive at his club and he believes that he can’t love anyone. Untill one day Chance enter his life and change everything. Chance ask him to train him but he also is in love with Oliver. He wants to submit to him in any way, and I loved Chance so so much for that. He wanted to take his pain away from him. Their relationship was a roller coaster. But I loved every single part if it. I loved how Oliver opened his heart for Chance and let him in. I was sad to say goodbye to them at the end but I am glad that they both find happiness in their life and found each other.
If you love a good BDSM story with some M/M and M/M/F scenes in it then I highly recommend you read this book and read all the series.
I love Dani’s books and they are always a one click for me.
5 hot steamy stars from me.
I have to say that I am so upset to see this series be over although I could not wait to read Oliver’s story that it was rock and hard place kind of situation. When Dani releases a book, you have no idea what you are walking into. I have to say Vice is the same thing. Oliver has been in all the books, and we knew his needs and how he likes his bedroom play- to a point. But there is so much more to him than we ever knew. We not only get Oliver though we got Chance also. Such a sweet man is Chance. Chance is the total opposite of Oliver and is precisely what Oliver needs. Our princess to round out everyone is Cayleigh. She is a beautiful mix of sweet and sassy. She does keep these boys on their toes.
Again I hate to see this series end, but man it ended in such a wonderfully sweet and beautiful way. These books are going to be reread again and again.
What a perfect conclusion for this wonderful series. Oliver was the ultimate a**hole Dom and I loved every minute of his interactions with the subs he was with. If you love Alpha Doms and sexy subs, this series is definitely for you. Dani did an amazing job!!
We really are loving this on going series. This current story revolving around Oliver and Chance and Cayleigh was and intense one.
I have to say that we were instantly were drawn to Oliver and the darkness and rage he carries around with him.I will say that Oliver is a volatile character who most of the time keeps himself in check but, once he loses control we can be one mighty scary individual.
We love stories that are dark and intense as keeps your interest from the onset of the story but, they are also heart wrenching and emotional and its character’s filled with layers that need to be peeled back in order to penetrate their armor. My heart broke for these character’s for all they have suffered and how they have chosen to deal with their pain. For Cayleigh and Chance and Oliver have dealt with their demons by living the bdsm lifestyle it’s their coping mechanism for them all but, for Oliver its a good possibility it saved his life.Oliver is called the Master and he is a Dom and a Sadist who teaches and guides men and women to explore their sexuality and for them to find their right path in order to take care of their wants and needs.
Cayleigh and Chance have become Olivers students and for a month he will train them to be his subs. For me and this usual pairing is just what Oliver needed to shake up his controlled and lonely life up just a bit.Oliver has been doing the Dom Master Sadist things for a lot of years and never has one of his students been able to make him feel anything until these two come along.Chance is already half in love with Oliver who can either be a Switch or a Submissive and Cayleigh just needs to explore her sexual desires in order to own what she needs sexually to be happy but, also be able to move on from her past and although hers are not as dark as Oliver’s or Chance’s and her tragedies have not kept her being unable to love those around her and is open to loving someone again and being loved in return. For me I believe Oliver needed these two to move on from his past as their is never a doubt that he has come to care for them but,he realizes early on that a poly relationship between the three would never work as Cayleigh needs more than he could ever give her but, Chance just might be the little bright light in his very dark world. I think Cayleigh is the buffer that Oliver needed to be able to explore more with Chance as she gave Oliver these little pushes in the right direction only in a way Cayleigh slyness can achieve but also come from true affection. lol
We really loved all the character’s and we enjoyed the way the author brought the series to an ending. The story effected us emotionally and are heart went out time and time again for these character’s each and every time another secret came to light for truly the hell both Chance and Oliver had been living in.The author also did an amazing job at showing us how these men suffered and how much in common they had without even knowing it but, for Chance he had the loving support of his sister Peyton to help deal with his demons where Oliver had nobody making them into completely different men and their outlook on life.
Overall the story was engaging and heart felt and was highly erotic and had some really intense bdsm scenes but, those scenes lead to healing oneself, learning to be able move on from ones past and letting yourself feel again also be able to love again as well as letting yourself be loved in return and about exploring your sexuality and taking those needs and wants and desires into consideration as they are a big part of the picture of you achieving your own happily ever after .
An awesome series not to be missed!

Dani Rene delivers yet another fantastic book, Vice, in the last installment of the Sins of Seven series. Not only will you cry, you will scream, cuss, swoon and so much more! Vice is filled with so many emotions it is hard to describe them all. Vice, can be read as a standalone but I highly encourage you to read the previous installments as the characters interconnect. Last but not least, if you do not like MFM, MM, or MMF, I recommend you do not read this book.
In Vice, we get to know the elusive Oliver Michaelson as well as the two people he takes on as submissives, Chance and Cayleigh.
Oliver Michaelson is a broken man that takes pleasure in the pain he can inflict on his submissives. Oliver had a rocky road growing up that made him into who he is today. When he takes on two submissives at once he has no idea what he is in for.
Will Chance and Cayleigh be his downfall?
Dani has written a kick behind ending to the Sins of Seven series that will leave you with the biggest book hangover ever! If you have not one clicked today, do it now!
Well I can’t believe this is the last one in the series. It finishes the series off brilliantly. This time you get to meet Oliver. He’s dark, cold, controlled and the dom every submissive wants! He trains both men and women, and in this story it’s Cayleigh and Chance. They both need help and to move forward in life, but will Oliver be the one to help them!? Another great read and I’m so sad it’s had to come to an end.
Ascending from the Shadows
Oliver’s character spoke to me in volumes. A ruthless tortured man with a cruel past. It’s no wonder he is perceived as a master over his submissions and is the King of control. Burying everything deep down in his soul with no possibility of it resurfacingany time soon. That is until he meets Cayleigh and Chance. They challenge him to reveal his torments. They both saw beyond the carnal lust of his sexual desires and discovered a raw damaged man that needed to be saved.
Oliver was a lost soul that needed to be found by a champion to help him find his way back. That champion was Chance. This was quite an emotional ride, and I look forward to reading the remainder of this series.
Whoa. Cue the sexy! Being my first read from Dani René I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. But let me tell you Vice was deliciously dirty. And a little dark which isn’t really my cup of tea. This book was intense and covered some touchy subjects but for some reason I found it hard to look away.
I think it was Chance. That man was magnetic. He was bold and adventurous and not afraid to stand his ground. When I learned all that both he and Oliver endured my heart just ached and it made me root for them even more. Even when Oliver was pushing Chance away. But Chance knew his heart and he went to battle with and for Oliver. It took a fiery Irish lass, heaps of patience and facing down both of their traumatic pasts to get there.
I will say, that jumping in with the last book of an ongoing series probably wasn’t the best idea because there were other characters that were present in this story that I had no clue about. But Vice was indeed a standalone. I found the romance between Chance and Oliver a bit lacking. Don’t get me wrong, these two were off the charts hot, especially when Cayleigh was part of the mix, but I wanted to feel more of their connection. Dani René gave me two complex and wounded men that connected the only way they knew how. It was their passion in the bedroom that led to the relationship outside of it.
Here it is – VICE, Oliver’s story – finally. Ohh, how I’ve waited for this one. But it also sadly marks the end of this awesome and extremely decadent series by Dani René. And what an end this one brings! Whew! It was everything I hoped for and more. Gave answers to every asked and not yet asked question and then some. This one is easily my favorite in the whole series.
Oliver, Dom and sadist, trains people to become submissives – without making a difference if it’s a woman or a man. He knows what he wants and simply takes it; on the other hand he is closed off, controlled and uncompromising – until he takes on two novices – Cayleigh and Chance – and guides them into his dark world of dominance and submission – and desire…
Both novices have their own burdens to bear and are hoping that Oliver’s training will give them what they are searching for. What ensues, is much more than anyone would have anticipated. What ensues, is hot and dirty and emotional as these three people come together – in any constellation imaginable…
Dani René is very creative when it comes to their scenes, having me experience some I haven’t yet read about. It’s exciting, thrilling and gloriously filthy if BDSM romance is your thing. I loved it!
Now it’s time to say goodbye, but on the other hand I’m excited to find out more about what she will bring us next.
