The lights go out, bathing us in darkness. Only she and I reside here, on opposite sides, both craving the same thing.I witnessed it in her eyes. I let it fester for years. I allowed myself to think I was different from them.I was wrong.I tried to resist. I tried to be different. But blood was thicker than water.I didn’t just want her. I needed her.I needed to own every single inch of her.She … needed to own every single inch of her.
She crooked her finger, beckoning me, and I drifted to her like helpless sails in the wind.
A flicker inside me roared to life.
She’d woken the beast.
The flames burned bright, promising destruction to all those who obstructed our path.
Ashes to ashes.
Dust to dust.

When the villain is actually the hero…
Verboten.
Okay, I’m still trying to recover from what I just read, but here we go.
The story starts off with the ominous scene of someone being watched. However, as the story goes on, you come to find out that maybe not all bad guys are intentionally bad. Sometimes, things are inherited and no matter how much you try to contain the monster, it can’t be contained.
Can it?
Bless Uncle Jacob because he tried. He didn’t want to be the man that he knew would be born of his bloodline and he did his best to resist, but sometimes, the heart wants what the heart wants.
And in this instance, what the heart wants can lead to deadly and damning consequences. But for who? I guess you’ll have to read Verboten and find out.
It has been awhile since I took a trip into the Inferno World. It wasn’t easy and it sure as hell wasn’t pretty. The Inferno World is taboo. You have to be willing to step outside the box. Hell… Maybe even burn the box all together. The story brought me back and I was flipping one page after another.
This was interesting. I enjoyed meeting Uncle Jacob, he is so interesting and protective of his niece. She belongs to him. I learned a little more about Paters family, would love to learn more.
Love me some Uncle Jacob
Omg, I love this novella from the inferno series. This novella is written so good you get hooked from the first page and the hot sexy scenes…This story is so good, it’s a must read if you Daddy Pater.
This is a great novella, it’s got some triggers and a true taboo relationship so not for the faint of heart but so beautifully written just like everything Abigail Davies does!! Jack can join my harem!!
Different author same Inferno
When you submit yourself to this pitch black world you must remember all the warnings from the begginging, having read every single book in this series I was happy author A.A Davies captured it’s essence and created a perfect extension.
There was but one question I was left with, however it may be answered in the end as I’ll continue my adventure down this particular rabit hole, this novella does have an ending however author Yolanda Olson has brought more authors to expand the Inferno Universe.
Verboten by A.A Davis is an epic story to start this series off with, it is everything so perfectly wrong in the right kind of ways for the Inferno World.
Whilst reading I was cringing, laughing & cheering and also rooting for Uncle Jacob (in a twisted way)turning those pages so fast because this story was gripping and made me think what a twisted world the Inferno world really is because certain things were better than others but all situations are so very wrong !
If you loved Inferno and everything taboo this is a one click must!
Oh wow! This book twisted and turned in different directions from the others I’ve read in the Inferno World, but was still amazing!
I definitely have to get more of Abigail Davies books into my kindle!
Verboten is taboo with sexy mixed with your morals be questioned.
This addition to the Inferno World series brings you Uncle Jacob.
Jacob visits his family and all normal daily things seem to change.
Eyes meet, hearts want, urges build and the shadows in the dark come out to be seen. Jacob tries to suppress the inherited demons that scream to be released. And he does fight so, but some attractions are just too strong to keep inside. I found myself not wanting to put this story down. The author did a nice balance of taboo and you rooting for the one you shouldn’t be and questioning yourself for liking that fine Uncle Jacob.
Hot damn i loved this book!
Abigail Davies kicks off the Inferno world series with us meeting Uncle Jacob and in true taboo fashion this is one twisted crazy read and i couldn’t get enough.
I love the characters in this story, uncle Jacob especially is a favourite of mine, he’s one you should hate but all is not as it seems.
The author made me question my morals, question my sanity and i don’t think i passed the test! I do not care though, i love them and absolutely love this book.
With all the Inferno world books i make the same warnings, these books aren’t for the faint hearted, they are taboo at it’s best and should only be read if you like dark books.
I cannot wait to carry on the series with the next author.
