Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

This is the book
Every once in a while, you stumble across That book. The one that sucks you into the story and won’t release you without putting you through every emotion that the characters feel. Every bit of pain, every bit of friendship and every bit of love can be felt like you are truly in that world fighting that fight. Well this is That book. The one that you cry at the very end, not because the characters didn’t get their HEA, but because you feel such a sense of relief that they all made it through. I loved this book and I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.
A superb adventure!
Hazel was done being someone’s punching bag. All she needed was a safe place to hide. It turned into a hazardous trek into the Frontier. I love her! She has extraordinary courage and will to power through the most difficult situations. Her reward? She is Khal’s bloodmate. This prize comes with perils, however. Khal has taken on a mission that seems doomed before it begins.
I love the romantic connection between Hazel and Khal – it goes beyond Khal’s biological need to a true love. Reaching the conclusion of this story takes us through some harrowing experiences: it is edge-of-your-seat action! Well done!
I have follow Mary Auclair since her first book. She has grown into a very good author. I found this one to be her best book yet. I found it gripping and didn’t want to put the book down. I would have liked to see Hazel grow a little more but the story line kept my attention. Would definitely recommend this book.
This book was given to me by Booksprout. I am leaving this review freely. This book starts with conflict. The action starts as soon as you start reading. I enjoyed that very much. Will it end in conflict or peace? Come join me and find out with me. This book covers so much and more. It holds your attention to the end and leave you wanting more of the great story line. The book can stand alone but is also part of a series. Hope to see you there.
This is a well written book with characters that are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is off the charts. The storyline flowed smoothly.

This is the 4th book in the series and a new author to me, so I haven’t read the previous 3 books. Although I was able to follow and enjoy this book, I do feel that I might have enjoyed it even more had I read the previous books in the series. There’s a lot of action and adventure in this story along with a great romance where both parties involved are doing everything, they can to fight their attraction to each other. The HEA is certainly well earned.

This is the fourth story in the series Eok Warriors. You don’t have to read the previous stories to enjoy this one, but it would make a bit more sense and understanding the background more if you read the other stories in the series.
I have enjoyed reading the entire series so far. I like the whole world building and character creations that Mary Auclair has created. I enjoyed when she introduces different species and how they all get along. How she shows that not everyone of one species is all good or all bad. There are good in all species or races and there are bad, even among the ‘honorable’ types too.
Hazel is a human who has been enslaved, freed, beaten and abused by her boyfriend and is trying to escape to get to her sister on Earth. She hides in a container that will be shipped off world, but she just needs to hide until they stop looking for her. She wakes up on a space ship that is already in space. She overheard a conversation between the head alien on her planet of a secret mission. When she finds out she is on the ship headed out for the secret mission, she has no choice. She does find the Eok Warrior who is flying the ship quite attractive and he hasn’t treated her badly either.
Commander Khal was sent on a mission by Prime Councilor Aav. If he isn’t successful, it could cost the lives of billions of beings and start a civil war in their galaxy. Khal has seen each of his brothers find their mate, getting the Mating Venom where they either claim their fated mate or go insane. When he finds his stowaway, he is instantly attracted to her, but he doesn’t have time to claim her. He must be successful with his mission.
I don’t want to give away anything else of this awesome story, you will need to read it yourself. You will be glad you did.

I do love those Eok Warriors. This is a stand-alone in the series but all the other books are as good as this one so you’ll want those too. Hazel just wants to go to Earth and she’ll do what she has to but hiding under Commander Khal’s spaceship wasn’t the best move. He’s on a mission of critical importance. Together they’ll complete his mission and despite their attempts to avoid it, they’ll find more with each other. Fast paced story you won’t want to put down. Great characters with amazing chemistry and a fight of good vs evil. Highly recommended and hopefully we’ll see more Eok Warriors. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
A very quick yet highly entertaining, action packed and engaging adventure filled with danger, mystery, exciting charters and undeniable passion… was a great reading experience.
Hazel has stowed away because she is trying to get away from an abusive relationship. She is a kick a** female determined to to go back to Earth and find her sister. Commander Khal is tasked with a very dangerous mission and he wants to prove that he is a Eok warrior just like his brothers before him. You go through every emotion that Hazel and Khal have. Not only is Khal fighting his mating urge but he is fighting a villian across the universe. This is another great story by Mary Aculair. I really enjoyed this story. I missed the third book but will definitely be getting the book I’ve missed.

Book four of the Eok Warriors series and I know this is a series I will be reading again. Commander Khal and Hazel’s story has suspense, drama, danger,an evil villain, twists, turns, Eok Warriors, other Aliens, and love. This was a fun read. Action-packed, emotional and exciting, Hazel and Kahl’s romance was quite enjoyable. I liked Hazel. She is strong, detemined and fiesty. Kahl, kind of had to grow on me. He starts out as a bit of a jerk. Their chemistry is good and their banter snappy. All in all a fun read.
This is the fourth book in the series. This can be read as a stand alone, but it would be helpful t read the other three. Hazel is trying to escape the brutal Bobbie and accidentally stows away on Khal’s ship. When he finds her, he tries to get her somewhere safe, but Hazel refuses. so, he must bring her along on his mission. They both try to fight their attraction, Khal fighting his blood lust, but eventually they succumb. Of course, the fun if the story is in the details! This is the fourth book in this series. Even though I haven’t
read the books before this one I still understood the plot and
I was absolutely hooked.

Omg what a fabulous ending to the series. I almost wish there was more. Khal and Hazel had quite the battle on their hands. A story that has everything, intrigue, suspense, sexy heat, and romance.
I love these stories. Every one of them have a primal fearlessness to them. I don’t know if it is just the alien or the humans tap into their own. Excitement galore with danger a half step behind. The intensity that the author has brought to the story is awesome. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
I love this series, and each book is better than the last. The characters were really well developed, interesting, and just so likeable. This was a book that I just got lost in; the world the author created allowed me to escape and just immerse myself into what she had created. I just loved it.

Help For Each Other
Commander Khal has just been given the assignment of a lifetime. A secret and highly dangerous mission that if successful will save trillion of people from civil war. This will prove to anyone who questions it he is a worthy Eok warrior including his brothers.plus trillions he is their only hope.
Hazel is a human desperate to leave Aveyn and find her twin sister, who has been transported back to earth by her owner. He suddenly acquired a political conscience that human slavery is wrong. Her twin is Hazel only living relative, and she desperately needs her.
Naively Hazel stows away on Commander Khal’s spaceship not realizing he is on a Suicide Mission and her chances of surviving are slim to none.
Khan finds her hidden and is not happy with the situation as she is a hindrance to him. Also, he can not resist her; the Mating Venom is so potent.
Instantaneously there is chemistry between the two but not without issues and a struggle of wills. With so much betrayal going around neither know whom they can trust, and it seems all hope is lost.
Will Hazel decide to help Khal on his mission? Is staying together even possible? Will they survive this mission and save trillions who would suffer otherwise? Will they discover the well-deserved happiness that will last a lifetime. Grab this book and find out!
I have one more question, will this be the end of the series? We will all have to wait to find out the answer to that one.

This is one of the few books that I have read by this author that the female isn’t coming across as a sneaky, conniving, manipulative and selfish. While Hazel is a bit fixated with getting back to her sister, she does obsess about it in her head and mentions it a time or two, however she doesn’t go full on I don’t care who gets hurt I want what I want mode. Escaping a bad situation lands her in an even worse one when she encounters Khal.
Khal is on a secret one-way mission where failure is not an option. The last thing he needs is a physically weak female compromising not only his principles, but the lives of millions.
Hazel has little bit of rebellious streak in her and she stands up for what she believes in. Her willingness to stand up to Khal has him equal parts exasperated and attracted. Once Khal lets his guard down his body’s natural desires to claim her takes over and he has to fight his attraction to complete the mission.
Hazel was attracted to Khal from the beginning and once she figures out that he is too despite his denial her feminine wiles do go full steam ahead.
There is a lot of action in this story and an attempted sexual assault so please be aware. Some of the parts were a bit of an eye roll, like come on saw that one coming a mile away. The villains were a bit over the top at times and I did sigh a time or two. Some of the story was a bit reminiscent of a blockbuster movie with blue people at least to me. However there is enough meat in the story and Hazel and Khal working together as a united team was nice to see, instead of the female being a whiny selfish everyone else be damned I will have my way no matter the cost.
