#1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan pushes the limits in her next novel in the Torpedo Ink series.Isaak “Ice” Koval is on a club mission when he sees a woman who stops him dead in his tracks. Soleil is a sweet, sexy, girl-next-door type. She’s an innocent who should be nowhere near the rough-and-ready world of the Torpedo Ink motorcycle club. But Ice knows Soleil belongs with … knows Soleil belongs with him—and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her.
After a life of drifting from one thing to the next, Soleil Brodeur is determined to take control of her life. When her breakup with her manipulative fiancé turns ugly, Soleil searches out the stranger who offered her a lifeline and ends up in a Las Vegas biker bar where she meets a gorgeous, dangerous man straight out of her most secret fantasies.

“She chased his demons away.”
I have no words to express how much I love this series. I discovered this author by word of mouth, but the praise was about a paranormal series she’d written. That’s not usually my thing, so I just filed it away in the back of my head until I accidentally ran across the Torpedo Ink series. I was totally unprepared for how good her writing is, IT BLEW MY MIND!
I can’t give you specific details about the members of Torpedo Ink, because their story is so incredible and deserves to be learned first hand. Prepare to be shocked and enraged and ready to join in the chaos that is the world they live in. A dark and dangerous world that is also full of love and laughter. I’m sure if anyone was watching me they’d think I was bipolar because I’d be laughing one minute, ranting the next and fanning myself soon after. Going from happy to hot to hotter.
The club family is beyond tight, they are so close they can communicate without words. The men are so deliciously alpha you’ll be wanting one of your own, trust me. And the female members are badass as well. Whoever manages to win one of their hearts will be lucky indeed. I can’t wait for that to happen. I’m completely addicted to this series. So much so that I might even be tempted to try some paranormal if this is what I have to look forward to. The line forms here…
Scorching read with a nice twist of heavy romance.
Each member of Torpedo Ink has suffered horrifically in their pasts. Ice is no exception. I was so happy to read him find and fall for his woman, his perfect match. Then go on to save her from her demons.
The book left me really hanging out for Ice’s birth sister, Alena’s story. Even though I know that one will completely rip my heart out and stomp all over it!
Adult content, triggers. Christine Feehan has several series. Some a little less erotica and those are the ones I absolutely adore. The erotica ones are not my forte, but I still read her for the emotional feels. This is book 3 and the motorcycle group is made up of men and women who were viciously abused as children, who were tortured, raped and taught to kill. Who now seek out pedophiles to put a stop to them and try and help other children, all the way enjoying their motorcycle club perks. Pretty intense dark matter, but these stories are about their hope, their light at the end of their dark past. I pretty much pass over the intense sex scenes. In this book it had a lot more sex than the previous and I started to feel a little lost. The meet ‘n greet so to speak was fast and furious. For awhile I think I understood how Ice must have felt just taking his life day by day no sunshine. Just when I had lost hope the book was going to have any feel goods (not talking for sex people) she would hit me with an emotional punch, and I would think wow, ok, keep going. It was a roller coaster, highs and lows. I appreciate the family bond Christine puts in all her books. It as if Christine is trying to share with the world no matter how atrocious your past might have been, or how it is now, family (be it blood or not) will help you take it a step at a time. Thank you for the arc, all thoughts and opinions are my own which I freely volunteer.
The action isn’t the only thing heating up…
Abuse, murder, stalking. Heat, protectiveness, family. All these things stood shoulder to shoulder in the latest whirlwind instalment of the Torpedo Ink series. Ice was an enforcer, cool, deliberate, and ready to do what needed to be done. Family was everything to him and for the people he loved he would do anything. And now, that included Soleil…
Soleil was an interesting character. In some ways innocent and sheltered, yet worldly and savvy in others. When she was lucky enough to bump into Lana her circumstances, her life, took a dark, delicious turn…
This story was all about taking control. Of your life, of the dark world that comes knocking on your door. About trusting your instincts and tacking chances. Marry that with a courtship like no other and you have an unforgettable story… I can’t wait for the next step on this road!

I just love the characters in the Torpedo Ink and Ice meeting Soleil was scary but perfect! Soleil has spent her life alone and a very wealthy woman but she has no one except Winston her abusive fiancé but she overheard his conversation and she is leaving. When her escape leads her to a bar full of bikers she is so relieved she doesn’t even think it’s scary but Ice steps right up to put her at ease but she immediately brings a calm to his raging soul. Soleil figures if she can just hide out with Ice for a while she can make her escape from Winston but he is involved with a serious group of men who prey on wealthy women. Soleil’s danger could bring them all down and or dead but they live by the code and they especially Ice will protect her but can they save themselves from the nightmare.

What actual story there is I enjoyed but too much sex.
Read out of order and I cannot say I wasn’t warned by reading the reviews but as I had read the rest, I decided I wanted to finish this series.
It has clarified that I prefer this authors earlier works over her newer/later ones.
We get the already known overall horrendous background from previous books but at least it is not ad-nauseum in this story.
There is numerous non needed sexual scenes, not loving scenes, just sex, anywhere, anytime which actually puts Soleil in harms way at one point.
There is definitely no romance and I came away feeling I knew no more about Ice’s thinking and feelings.
Ice just never gets me to feel for him like I have for the others.
Soleil comes across as an someone who cannot make a decision and is happy to go with the flow. She actually states she drifts along and runs from conflict. This may explain why she accepts Ice’s dictate with no qualms and is happy to have sex in front of complete strangers.
I just found her lacking in character and strength.
The actual bit of story with get with the paedophile rings was great and I loved how these disgusting excuses for human beings were dealt with. Poetic justice.
I used to one click this author but after disliking more stories than I liked at these prices, I stopped.
I now read her books through my library first as I hate wasting money but I haven’t bought one book in the last two years.
How can you not love the men of Torpedo Ink?!
Their stories of struggle and overcoming it or working to overcome it in future times.
Swoon worthy- all of them- just, sigh
The authors way with words helps transport you into the story- all the feelings, actions, and settings.
Worth the read
*some aspects are dark and for some could cause triggers
It is a great read. Hard to put down.
too much deviant sex!
I really enjoyed this. It’s been a while since I was with the Torpedo Ink family but I missed it for sure. Jim Fraggione on audio is a fave. This isn’t a series that everyone will be able to get on board with. It doesn’t shy away from getting graphic in the gory scenes or the bedroom scenes. So check the triggers if you need them. But I really enjoyed this. A whole lot.
An electrifying opposites attract story is sure to please Torpedo Ink fans! With the third book in the series Christine Feehan wraps a damsel in distress around Ice’s heart faster than he can turn around and it’s swoon worthy!
Isaak “Ice” Koval is a stone cold character who is loyal to his family and his club … he never expected to actually feel again, but when this gorgeous woman steps into his sights in a rough and rowdy biker bar, he is a goner. Watching him be captivated is so rewarding.
Soleil Brodeur is sweet and innocent and has no clue what type of life she’s walking into when she stumbles into Ice’s clutches, but she’s so happy being there that she can’t find enough concern to worry too much about it.
I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a tight knit MC y that is always filled with strife and drama, but equally heart warming in a rough and tumble type of way. I’m so looking forward to more in the series!
This is great series … heartbreaking at times (for the members of Torpedo Ink) but there is also humor, great characters, lots of action, and steamy scenes. Each book gives us more and more understanding of the trauma and abuse each member suffered in the horrendous “school” from their childhood. I think Ice and Soleil are my favorite couple. It was instant chemistry for them with sparks going off like crazy!! I loved how they both thought they were tricking each other to fall in love with the other….and how the other TI members were helping them along. It’s great how when one member finds “the one for them” that the other members have their back anyway they can (although sometimes not with the best strategy….lol) for them to have their HEA. Highly recommend this book and series!!
Soleil knows that many are around her because of her money. So when a hand is reached out to keep her safe can she trust it?
Vendetta Road is third in Christine Feehan’s Torpedo Ink series. I love returning to this world and Ms. Feehan decided it was Ice’s turn to find love. I loved that both Ice and Soleil thought they were playing each other. It tickled me to see someone see the good in Ice and want the best for him. I loved how Soleil fought to protect Ice and his family even as she expected to die.
I love that Ms. Feehan gave Ice someone who fit his needs so well. Ice doesn’t see much good in himself. He has done things he is in no way proud of. He has done things to protect his family. He needs things he isn’t sure a woman can accept. But then he meets Soleil. Soleil gives him something he never expected to find. She needs what Ice provides and sees nothing but good in him.
I loved that Ms. Feehan continues to show the strong sense of family each man and woman has. I loved how they extended the devotion to Soleil. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Ice through Soleil’s eyes as she and Ice navigate their relationship. I loved this addition to Ms. Feehan’s Torpedo Ink series and look forward to where she will take us next.

Issac “Ice” Koval is in Las Vegas to rescue a child and attend his brother’s wedding. When he sees Soleil on the street he stops dead in his tracks and knows she is the one. But first he has to get her away from her abusive ex-fiance.
Abuse, murder, death, sex, and romance. Torpedo Ink is back with another action packed and emotional book. Ice lives up to his name and has been emotionless from the very beginning. He struggles daily to get past what was done to him and get up every day. He even considers ending it to be free, but all it takes is one glance at Soleil and he is saved. Ice is a very protective alpha male who goes out of his way to protect his family, especially the women in it. I liked him once he opened up to Soleil and started really talking to her. He may be made of ice when necessary but he is all in with their relationship, which I liked. I love seeing big walled off men fall for their women.
Soleil was a very rich woman who was also extremely lonely. She never had a family or anyone who really cared for her. She craves love and a place of her own. Ice, and Torpedo Ink, give her the family she always wanted. I liked Soleil even though she was very innocent to the dark side of the world. Soleil was perfect for Ice because she gave him the love and acceptance he need to survive his past.
Also the sex scenes between these two were so hot (and public, so if that bothers you don’t read this.)

Overall, I enjoyed this one and look forward to the next book, which I believe is Absinthe’s story.
Reader Warning:
– Hero was tortured and raped as a child.
– Topics of pedophilia, human trafficking, and torture discussed.
– Torture and killing of others happen during scenes.
– Suicidal thoughts.
– Public sex scenes.
Ice Koval spots Soleil Brodeur and feels an instant attraction that he cannot follow because he is on a mission. Later, Soleil walks into the biker bar where Ice and the Torpedo Ink members are taking some down time. She has just left her abusive ex-fiancee and is looking for Lana a member of the club who had befriended her earlier in the day. She is immediately as drawn to Ice as he is to her and they try to seduce each other. Neither knows the danger the other brings to their new relationship, but soon it intrudes on their blossoming feelings. One thing we know the club will be at their backs.
I love everything Christine writes. I follow each of her series’s. I wish she could write at warp speed then I could read one of her books every week!
I hate to admit I was a bit disappointed in Vendetta Road by Christine Feehan. This is book 3 in the Torpedo Ink Series.
I was so looking forward to this book. Having read pretty much everything written by this author, I have to say I have no clue what happened with this one. It didn’t even feel as if I was reading a book written by her.
I liked Ice and Soleil and felt they were good for each other. Their relationship outside of just having sex everywhere definitely could have been expanded on. This story was just full of too many repetitive sex scenes. Now people don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a great sex scene as much as the next person, but for me the story has to have a balance. I actually found myself skipping through some of these scenes. I know!! I still can’t believe I did that!! I felt I was reading the same scene over and over just worded differently.
The story starts out well with the rescue of an abused child the club was looking for. Then it just seems glossed over and relegated to the background. I expected more in regard to the child’s recovery as in previous stories. It felt like other parts of the story were rushed and just thrown in. It was missing the usual strategy planning, especially considering the amount of people the club was going after. This one was missing the author’s usual flow.
If you have read the prior Sea Haven Series as well as the first two Torpedo Ink books, your most likely invested in these characters and want them to get their HEA. The book does not disappoint in that aspect.
VENDETTA ROAD by Christine Feehan is the third book in her Torpedo Ink series. Isaak (Ice) Koval is on a mission for his motorcycle club when he sees a woman that attracts him. Later that evening, she enters a bar where the Torpedo Ink club is celebrating. Soleil Brodeur is running from an abusive fiancé. What follows is an interesting, twisted and dark tale.
This novel has numerous trigger warnings including physical child abuse, mental child abuse, murder, kidnapping, murder, human trafficking, erotica, exhibitionism, family and much more. It also includes scenes that deal with the effect of childhood abuse on adults. While the novel had some plot elements to it, it was more about Ice, how his life was affected by his childhood abuse, and erotic scenes.
This series has great potential, but it needs better balance between story line, character development, relationship development and steamy scenes than occurred in this novel. Additionally, I recommend reading this series in order. This is a dark and disturbing novel, but many will love it while others will feel that it needed more balance.
Christine Feehan is my favorite.
