All his other Harem brothers have found their one true love and they are spectacular princesses. Not Valor’s girl.Veila is the definition of evil. Not the kind of girl a guy falls for. Especially a stand-up guy like Valor. He’s not interested in her sexy glow, her pretty hair, or her glowing eyes.No. Valor only wants one thing for his fated princess.Death.But it’s kind of hard to kill someone … fated princess.
Death.
But it’s kind of hard to kill someone you’ve been genetically engineered to love. And Veila not only has total control over him, but also Harem Station. The only way Valor can get Harem Station back is to use the soulmate bond against her.
Valor has to make Veila believe that their bond is true, that his feelings are real, and that he is willing to sell out his brothers, hand over all of Harem Station’s secrets, and leave his old life behind to help her get what she wants. But it’s never going to happen. Valor will never love Veila.
Ever.
He’d rather die trying to kill her than spend one moment as her puppet king. There’s just one problem.
The soulmate bond goes both ways.
Veiled Vixen is book six in the Harem Station series and features an army of pissed-off princesses, five brothers facing their past, a station filled with ruthless, rebelling outlaws, and a lesson in what matters. It’s a love story about revenge, and hate, and regrets – but also forgiveness, loyalty, family, and having the courage to see the truth behind the veil.

Just like the previous books in this series, I completely enjoyed this book. And I have to say, I think this one left me with more questions than answers!
I wasn’t sure how Julie was going to get me to like Veila, but by the end, I was pretty much a fan. And now I can’t wait for my next Harem Station fix!
Great job!
This book really put some things on perspective and cleared up some doubts I had.
I didn’t think I would love other brother more than Jimmy…. But Valor got to me, this double d!ck man has to be one of the realest and human of all the brothers. I won’t spoil the read but Valor is definitely a keeper in my book.
Cannot wait to read the next and know what will happen to Harem Station, this series has become addictive and I don’t even read scifi!!
As we’ve been moving through this series, we’ve been conditioned to hate Veila, because let’s face it, the woman has done some pretty egregious things to alot of people and Julie has pulled no punches with just how despicable this pink-wannabesilver princess can be to get what she wants.
When we left Valor at the end of Prison Princess, Veila had him stuck up on a wall in her ship, torturing him. When he wakes up, he’s in a cryopod back on Harem Station. It’s been six weeks and during that time, all hell has broken loose on Harem.
I don’t know how Julie manages to keep track of all that’s going on, and I’m even more impressed with how she layers little tidbits of information throughout the story that you just know you need to highlight because at some point in time, that tidbit is going to end up being an AHA moment later down the road.
There’s so much that went on in this installment, I wouldn’t even know where to begin talking about it. I’m just going to say that this book blew me away, as usual, and I know I will be thinking about all the parts of it and making lots of notes in preparation for the next book coming.
One thing I thought was very interesting about this book was that the whole story, with the exception of some “Interlude” chapters from some essential side characters, was told from Valor’s point of view. So we see Veila through his eyes all the way to the end, and we witness through him, how she changes from the beginning to the end. So I haven’t quite decided yet if Julie is trying to distract us from what is really going on, or is Veila truly changing her colors (you’ll understand what I mean once you read the book).
As usual, as soon as I finish reading, I write down all the questions that are swirling through my head, and I’ll keep that paper close by because I know I’ll think of more things to add to it before the next book comes out.
Another amazing installment in the Harem Station series!
I must admit that during part one of this installment of the Harem Station saga I found myself confused a little about exactly what was going on! That being said I think that’s what continues to draw me to this author and her stories! I have real emotions about these guys and gals! I found myself feeling sorry for Veilia and almost routing for her at times. I admire KC’s ability to build worlds that suck you in and characters that you identify with even if they are a different species!
I can’t wait for the next installment of these books! I need all of the answers!! I’m sure it will be worth the wait!
OMG!!!! This series just keeps getting more and more complicated. I just wanted to bang my head against my tablet. It’s this big huge puzzle piece you have to put together. And I hate puzzles!!! I s*ck at them. LOL!
This book is not like any of the other books in this series. It is told in many POV and there is a lot going on so be prepared. It’s CHAOS!!!!! Veila is not what I expected. And Valor is loyal to a fault it is so sexy. This book will answer more questions. But it will leave you with so many more. And keep you wondering on who you can trust.
Veiled Vixen
Well I definitely needed to take a deeeeep breath after this instalment from Harem Station!
Veiled Vixen follows Valor and Veila’s story with loads of amazing interludes from our other favourite characters, giving us loads of juicy puzzle pieces of information, but we still don’t have the whole picture! Gah!
Valor HATES Veila, and with good reason too! She truly is evil…..but is everything as it seems? Never when it comes to the boys and their fated mates!
We find that so much has changed since Tray, Brigit and Valor were all taken from their virtual world and none of it seems to be any good….and the anticipation of how this whole story goes mounts all the way through the story!
A gritty, action packed instalment of the Harem Station series!
Sci-fi Extravaganza!!
This entire series has kept us on our toes, and never knowing what outcomes would be. This story is no different. Our main character Valor wakes from 6 weeks in cryosleep to find the station at war. Even his original “brothers” are at odds with each other. In major control is his soulmate Veila. Unlike his brothers he hates his soulmate who seems to be the root of all negative events recently.
The soulmate bond is powerful – and as he gets to know her a little better – are there extenuating circumstances? Another roller-coaster ride as the fate of all on the station is up in the air, and we learn the truth behind certain incidents.
Compelling and engrossing read!!
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
Omg I’ve been waiting for Valor & Veila’s book and what a book it is. Valor wakes up from cyrosleep and his world is out of control. You will see a different side to Veila that you didn’t see coming. This series just gets better and better and now reading this ending I really, really want the next book ASAP. Another amazing read that once I started reading I didn’t want too stop.
Super sci-fi with a heart wrenching twist…
Harem station is going to hell in a hand basket. The brothers are separated, ALCOR is still missing, and war encompasses the population. And I felt like I was right there in the thick of it with them. Cyborgs, bots, and AIs all of the sci-fi elements are here. Plus so much intrigue. Besides the local action big baddies are lurking. While I was entranced by that part of the tale, Valor’s connection with Veila was also brewing. Valor hates her with a passion. Can the soulmate bond change his mind? Only KC (Julie) could present us with the most hated woman in the galaxy and make us sympathetic to her. But you never truly know someone till you read a few chapters of their story. Love, love this series! Totally stoked for the next installment.
Loved this book the story continues with Veiila and Valors book soulmates that refuse to believe they are
Lots going on with the war breaking out on Harem Station and everyone fighting against each other can they all come together and find a peaceful solution and which ALCOR can be trusted And where are the ships I need the next book x
