Gorgeous, charming, and funny, Vaughn Corbett rose far above his less than optimal beginning to become a household name. Known for being a dynamic and unflappable interviewer, no one was more surprised than he when he got tongue-tied over a gorgeous blonde in the middle of a live interview.Allie Henderson was so focused on her career that she rarely thought about men or dating. That all changed … all changed when she came across a silver-tongued devil on the red carpet. The moment his deep blue eyes met hers, something inside her shifted.
Allie was there to support her best friend. Vaughn was just doing his job. Neither of them expected the instant, magnetic attraction that couldn’t be denied.
Would a surprise that neither of them planned on end things before they really began?

I had high hopes for this book, but it fell a somewhat short of my expectations. I love Hollywood stories, and this one is a little different because it doesn’t involve stars but a screenwriter and a TV interviewer.
I loved that Vaughn and Allie were struck at first sight when they met at Oscars Award night. Allie was with her best friend Morgan, who was a strong candidate for best actress award. The chemistry between Vaughn and Allie was so off the charts that he took her home on that first night, after all the parties, only to sleep together, no sex. They took their time getting to know each other, moved together almost immediately, and he was very romantic with her. My complaint? Once they started to have sex, the story was almost all about their sexy times, and the scenes were ridiculously long. It wasn’t until I was 71% into the book that the plot got interesting, and not just about a couple who was getting it on all the time.
There were some side plots, such as Vaughn’s mentor James who was ill and had some personal problems as well. Also, there was a stalker hitting on Morgan. Allie had to leave for Chicago for six weeks to act as advisor on a screenplay turned movie, written by her. There was lots of meat to make for a stronger book, full of stories, but all I got was the minutiae of the life of a couple who went at it like rabbits all the time and hardly left the hotel/room/condo/house wherever they were. My only glimpse of the Hollywood life was the night at the Oscars, the rest happened mostly at Vaughn’s house or Allie’s hotel room in Chicago. After I hit the 71% in the book, the story got complications, I sat up expecting some drama, at last, and it was all I could ever want but it was not enough and it wasn’t covered as fully as I would have wanted. Even for Allie and Vaughn, their conflict was resolved in two pages of the book!
Both characters were fantastic. There’s not a lot of story on Allie’s professional development but at the moment, she had just sold her first screenplay and it was going to film soon. Her best friend Morgan got her first Oscar and is in love with Hollywood’s favorite playboy, who seems to love her back. They are disappointingly mostly absent from the book. Vaughn was the star of this book, he was the perfect book boyfriend, attentive, considerate, romantic, and very taken with Allie. He listened to her, and acted accordingly to satisfy her every wish. He was a foster child, didn’t suffer a life of abuse but a life of stricken poverty and a desire to do better.
“I’d never really thought about how being unwanted had affected me until Allie said she missed me. Yes, I had friends who cared, but it wasn’t the same.”
When he fell for Allie, he found someone who completed him and made him be a better man for her. There were all the elements of an epic romance. Instead, the characters were great, the plot too sex-driven and the story suffered because of it.
The best part was the HEA, it was everything you want in an epilogue.
I have to say that I did not read the first book or what you would consider the first book of this series. Vaughn happens at the same time as the first book- Gage. So you aren’t missing out on anything unless you want the feelings and all from the characters of Gage and Morgan.
Vaughn is a great character. He is reliable, complicated, sexy, and just plain hot. Vaughn is the type of guy you want in your life. Vaughn is the type of book you expect when you read Ella Fox, and I am so happy I read this book.
Another feel-good, insta love from this great author duo! I was dying for this book when the bombshell was dropped at the end of Gage! Vaughn is a stand-alone in the love under lights novels. Gage comes before Vaughn and I recommend you read it first because these characters are to die for! Most insta-Love romances feel forced and are really cliché, but that is not the case with this series! Everything flows so smoothly and the characters connection is genuine and sparkling with a heavy dose of attraction! Vaughn easily stole my heart right along with Allie’s. Very happy with their ending and I’m looking forward to the next book! I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Ella Fox and Rochelle Paige have outdone themselves with Vaughn, the next installment of the Love Under the Lights series. As much as I loved Gage’s story, Vaughn and Allie’s story is amazing. The two stories cross over each other/runs parallel and is just simply incredible written how they are intertwined. Even though Vaughn can be read as a standalone, it is so much better if you read in order because of some of the situations.
Vaughn is gorgeous, charming, fun, and successful. The man that seems to have it all. But most times then not, things don’t always seem to be what they appear to be. When the unflappable interviewer becomes tongue-tied on the red carpet by the blonde bombshell walking alongside the up and coming movie star, he has no choice but to pull himself together and make his move.
Allie has a one-track mind, to become a successful screenplay writer. Taking time out to support her best friend Allie agrees to walk to the red carpet with her. When eye contact is made with Vaughn on the red carpet the magnetic pull is too strong to fight and her world gets turned upside down. That is when things get a little more complicated with a surprise no one was expecting. But why just one surprise when the hits just keep on coming.
This story has so much depth to in between the pages that you are pulled and pushed with emotions throughout the story. Enjoyed reading every minute of it.
I loved the chemistry between Vaughn and Allie. She’s direct, has a smart mouth, and makes you burst out laughing (she does this to Vaughn) as well and he loves it. It’s a fast moving story and it’s a wonderful read. Vaughn is a perfect partner, he ticks all the boxes that a woman would want, presents, words, surprises, actions and just being genuine.
I loved the chapter with Gage and Vaughn saying “NO, you can’t stay here”, just one sentence to show their alpha. The other chapter with a surprise from Allie is the closet chapter, hilarious. This is a great series and I will read the next book as well. I do recommend it.
I won this ARC and have provided my honest opinion.
OH Vaughn… This man has such a beautiful soul and Allie’s matches. They have this chemistry from the moment they set eyes on each other. Allie is so damn strong and always head of her game, but her time with Vaughn allows her to be loved unconditionally. That is what is truly beautiful about this whole series. These woman are strong independent but appreciative of their men taking care of them.
Vaughn sees the beauty that he holds in his arms and wants to keep that love going. But things from the past can ruin it all, it their love strong enough?

Allie and Vaughn, they meet on the red carpet and sparks fly. The story is fun and steamy, a beautiful romance story, I love celebrity books and this one is one I enjoyed through it all. The insta-love story the authors present in the series are becoming my favorite.
The same night her best friend met Gage, Allie had the pleasure of seeing and meeting the most beautiful man ever, Vaughn, celebrated interviewer, on the red carpet as they swept into the awards. And when it becomes obvious that Allie’s instant attraction to Vaughn is reciprocated, they’re both prepared to explore whatever it is that’s between them. But, when she heads to Chicago to film the movie her book was adapted into, will Vaughn stand by her, or make her regret she ever let him charm his way into her life, into her bed and her heart?
Vaughn and Allie have serious chemistry! The sparks between them were obvious from the first time they locked eyes, clear until the last page of the sweet epilogue. I like the way both just rolled with their feelings, no running or fabricated drama, up until Allie overheard something and didn’t bother checking with Vaughn to get clarification. But, I can understand her bruised feelings, because I’d feel the same way, too, if I had overheard what she overheard. Thank God Vaughn went and claimed his woman, though, and I got to read their happy ever after.
Although I liked Gage, I can honestly say I like Vaughn even more. Vaughn is an absolute sweetheart who made his way into someone to be proud of, all with help by his mentor and father figure, James. The secondary cast was as superb as Vaughn and Allie, and helped round out the story that much more. Allie is a sweet and sassy firecracker who is perfect for Vaughn. Their story is immensely readable – sweet, sexy and entertaining. Ella and Rochelle make one hell of a writing duo and I can’t wait for their next Love Under the Lights story!

I did not think I could I love anyone more than Gage, but Vaughn stole my heart!!! Alli and Vaughn’s story was so amazing! I read it in one sitting! FIVE STARS!!!
I loved this book! Allie and Vaughn are so drawn to one another from the very start. I could feel the heat coming off the pages right away. Once he sees her for the first time, he just can’t stay away. She is just as mesmerized by him. There is one obstacle that he needs to get past, but keeping her in the dark could cost them everything they’ve ever wanted.
This story is book two in the Love Under The Lights series. I highly recommend Vaughn, as well as the first book (Gage). Ella and Rochelle have put together wonderful characters with stories that are amazing and super sexy. They also get their happily ever after, which is a must for me. Please note that even though the books are part of a series, they can be read as stand-alones and there are no cliffhangers.
I’ve fallen in love with these authors when I read Gage, so when I saw that Vaughn was due to release, I was beyond thrilled.
These two have a way with words, they’ll suck you in from page one and hold you there all the way through… And the way they write a character? Well, first I was obsessed and smitten with Gage, now? Vaughn…Dear God… Vaughn.
There was something about him that pulled me the moment he came into this. He’s old school, he’s a Hollywood star, he’s experienced in life, he’s sexy as hell and I could not help but swoon… He’s every girl’s dream… Well to me he is!
From the outside, it looks as though he’s always had and gotten everything he ever wanted, from an outsider he looks to have a perfect life, but that is so far from the truth… He wants people to believe that and only a few actually know the truth. He grew up in the foster care system… So really, he hadn’t had a perfect life, he knew what wanting and needing normal basic things in life was like, he knew what missing out on those things was like, he knew what it was like not to feel like you truly belonged anywhere in this crazy world… I think that’s what made me love this man even more. He wasn’t perfect, he hadn’t had the perfect life at all…
Allie Henderson, An up and coming screenwriter…She’s firey, full of sass, she is smart and beautiful and can stand up for herself, and when things need to be said, she has no issue voicing them… Everything she has in life and is aspiring to be, she is and has worked hard for it.
This is everything Allie has worked for, and It is her night to shine, and she can’t let herself get distracted… But the moment she locks eyes with Vaughn all that goes to hell and right out that window.
She ends up going home with him that night, and I mean that’s normal right? But more or less moving in with him is not… She didn’t see that coming, and neither did I. But to be honest, they worked so well. She was happy, he was too, she was comfortable in his space and things seem to be progressing fast, yes but good… and just when I thought things were perfect for them… Well, that quickly changes… When an overheard convo is heard, things start to slip and fall apart. Vaughn has secrets, things he can’t tell others, and things he won’t. Not even Allie.
Will Vaughn come clean? Can he? Or are these secrets he’s keeping worth risking the best thing to happen to him?
These two… Holy shit! The chemistry, the swoon-worthy moments, the angst when things start to come to a head… It had ALL THE FEELS. Their personalities were perfect. Not only did they balance each other, but they also bounced off of each other at the same time. It worked perfectly. They were perfect! I loved it. I had no doubt in my mind that that would be the case.
These two authors’ are a force to be reckoned with and have become a fast favorite for me. They know how to write an addicting, all-consuming, hot as hell, ALL THE FEELS kind of romance and Vaughn was no different.
Freaking loved it!
Once again, these ladies deliver an outstanding book to this amazing series!

So much drama in Hollywood!!!!!! A chance meeting on the red carpet between Vaughn and Allie leads to a whirlwind of a romance. After reading Gage, I NEEDED to know what happened between these two and I definitely wasn’t disappointed.
I loved Vaughn and Allie’s story so much. Insta-love isn’t usually my jam but this duo nailed it and made me want even more. I’m loving this series and I’m obsessed with all of these characters. I can’t wait for more!!!!
New Series for me and totally new authors – I know, I should feel ashamed because I haven’t know this authors earlier.. HOWEVER.. thanks to that, I could be very, very nice suprised by new advenutre with Vaughn and characters inside.
Ella Fox and Rochelle Paige done great job together. I really enjoyed this book, I’ve been sucked in whole history from the begining. Vaughn and Allie got my attention from the firts sight, plus… I cant lie – I’m literally living to read about manly.. Alphas, with golden hearts. Vaughn was exactly this kind of a man. He is full of testosterone, with one single look he could make me swoon… but still, he is soft like a bunny for his woman. Gahhh I really like this feature in heroes.
Allie was just for Him . I liked the most in her character, that she wasn’t only gentle flower. She knows exactly how she wanted to lead her life, that career was really important for Her. She’s sassy.. feisty and smart – Mrs. Vaugh Perfect.
Reading this book was really enjoyable – SERIOUSLY – it is this kind of word I wanted to used now. It was funny and very sexy story, with the right dose of drama in the background. Because of this , I realy liked story line in Vaughn – sometimes good things don’t need big tragic events to make book more interesting. Love is the one and only thing that matter.
Vaughn is definetely must read for all readers, who likes roamantic suspence with lots of steamy moments and manly man, making us – women swoon.
I KNEW Vaughn was a good guy!! We know at the end of Gage that Allie thinks he’s done something unforgivable, but if you’re a fan of Ella & Rochelle, you knew that there had to be another explanation & that it was going to be goooood. No disappointment here – I loved what was going on w/ that situation!
Allie & Vaughn’s story happens simultaneously with Gage & Morgan’s so it was cool to see things that had happened in their story from different POV’s. We also get to know our main characters more, of course, and I absolutely adored Vaughn. His heart … swoon! And Allie!! She brings out this great playful & fun side that I loved reading about. Their dates are so adorable!
Also, be prepared to fan yourself because the sexy times in this one are pretty much off the charts. They are quite the insatiable couple… LOL
This is a quick, fun, steamy read – and we get a glimpse at the next book, Dane, which I always love to see! : )
Vaughn by Ella Fox and Rochelle Paige is book 2 in the Love Under The Lights series. This is Vaughn and Allie’s story.
Allie and Vaughn’s story was going on at the same time that Gage & Morgan’s was occurring so now we get to find out what was happening from their perspectives.
At the end of the book, Vaughn looked like a real bad guy but in book 2, things were not as they appeared….
Vaughn wants Allie and he is bound and determined to get her. Allie is sassy and intelligent. Their path to true love is rocky in that insta-love affair kind is. I enjoyed the interconnectedness that book 1 & 2 have because its the POV of the characters that really make the story. Vaughn is filled with drama, passion, excitement, insta-love, chemistry and feels. Loved the emotions that are brought up and the sweet read that this story is. The writing duo that is Fox & Paige are quite great!! I like their style of writing and look forward to their next body of work.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *****
Allie was a girl who dreamed of seeing her work on screen. Allie’s best friend was nominated for an award, that’s how she met Vaughn. Vaughn was a reporter who covered the rich and famous, he’d met many women but none of them like Allie. Will they act on their attraction?

I was so excited about Vaughn and Allie’s story! It was hard for me to get through the initial part, since I felt like we knew so much from Gage’s story. I love how love wins! Great HEA!
A super hot, chemistry filled instalove story that will keep you wanting more right til the last page. I’m really enjoying this series!
I received a review copy before release for an honest review.
I read the first book in the series Gage and fell in love with Vaughn and Allie in that story. This takes us back to beginning and runs concurrent with Gage and tells us V and A’s story.
It was sweet and very romantic and I truly loved every second of the story. It easily can stand alone and I would encourage you to read this book first so some things are more of a surprise to you than for me because some spoilers of this story are spilled in Gage. But if you have read Gage you will love getting this story about Vaughn and Allie.
It is well written and an addicting story and I cannot wait for more from the authors in this series.
Absolutely love this book. I couldn’t and didn’t want to stop reading it. I loved every second. Love Vaughn. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
