Speculation is out of control and running rampant in Ransom Creek: Who is the new waitress at the Goodnight Café? What’s her story?Libby Smith aka, Libby Dunaway can’t catch a break. She’s been on her own since she was seventeen and has struggled but made it, until everything caught up to her…now, hiding out in the small town she hitchhiked to, she’s hoping to lay low until it’s safe to go home, … hoping to lay low until it’s safe to go home, if ever. Thankfully, the towns folk are nice and the cowboys too…especially one who totally throws her off every time he walks into the room.
Professional bronc rider Vance Presley is at the top of his profession when he comes home for his brother’s wedding and sees the new waitress at the café again. She’s cute and nervous when he’s around, dropping things and freezing up and totally adorable. Funny thing is every time she looks at him with those big blue eyes of hers he can hardly think straight himself.
When she shows up at his brother’s wedding he asks her to dance…and that’s when things spin out of control.
Sweet romance is blooming in Ransom Creek one cowboy at a time. A good clean and whole romance series readers are falling in love with.
What readers are saying about the series!
I have to say Debra has a gift for telling stories and Cooper and Beth’s love story another masterpiece. Texas Romance at its finest! (texasangel71)

Another great book in this series. Debra has a way with words. She makes you want to keep reading to the end without putting it down.
Vance is the youngest of the Presley boys. There are 5 of them, Goodlooking cowboys who all work at the Ranch. Well, Vance does when he is not competing at the rodeos riding Broncs. He is a fun guy who likes to laugh and cut up.
When Lilly gets to the town she if offered a job in Gert’s Cafe. Lilly is shy or secretive. Everyone thinks she is hiding something they don’t know what and she will not tell anyone. The first time she sees Vance she drops the plates of food she was delivering to a table in the cafe, and every time thereafter. He makes her nervous because he looks like someone she knew.
I recommend this book. I think you will enjoy all the secrets and twists and turns. And not to mention the happy ever after.
Vance is the fifth book in the Cowboys of Ransom Creek series. This book sucked me in from the start. I loved Vance and Libby’s story, and I highly recommend this book!
Vance by Debra Clopton
Cowboys of Ransom Creek Series Book Five
Vance Presley doesn’t have time for dating. He has one goal in life right now and that would be to win the finals in his bronc riding. Only, the cute little waitress who drops the plates whenever he’s around is taking up some of that space that the rodeo should have in his mind.
Libby Dunaway aka Libby Smith as those in the small town she landed in know her as Libby is on the run and she best take off soon again—otherwise, she’s going to get more attached to people who come in the diner. Especially one handsome bronc rider.
The Presley family and the other characters in this series are wonderful. The book pulls you into their family and small town. I really enjoyed it.

Vance and Libby’s story was especially romantic. If you haven’t read the other books in the series, you should still be able to enjoy this one. I felt so sad for Libby as I discovered the things from her past that had been weighing her down. It made me want a special happily ever after for her.
I really loved the connection that grew between Vance and Libby. Once the Presley brothers fall in love, they seem to fall hard and fast. This was the case for Vance. I liked getting a look into the the way Vance processed his thoughts and emotions, not only about Libby’s situation, but also in regards to his childhood. It was great to see these two really likable characters find each other.
I enjoyed this book a lot and look forward to the next in the series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
The author takes us back to Ransom Creek and the Presley brothers . This story belongs to Vance, the bronco rider and youngest of the Presley brothers, and Libby , the mysterious young waitress who drops dishes and gets nervous whenever Vance shows up at the cafe where she works.
It’s a sweet, clean, romance that is at times heartbreaking and very touching. It’s also a story about loss, betrayal, but also about forgiveness , hope and love.
A heartwarming story for an afternoon of leisure.
