It’s a heart-shaped . . . HEART!
I scream and fumble for my phone so I can call the cops, the FBI, the CIA, maybe even the freakin’ psychic hotline . . .
But then my mystery admirer emerges from the shadows.
And he says I’m his.
His Valentine.
Over-the-top novella with drama and darkness, twists and turns, laughs and madness, sweetness and steam.
No cheating. No cliffies. Guaranteed HEA.
And just in time for Valentine’s Day (or maybe Halloween . . . ;)).
This is insta-love, Annabelle Winters style.

The author really went over the top with this romance. This was definitely a fantasy read. All the scenes/scenarios were way too fantasy to be remotely real. The banter between Daisy and Drachus was hilarious. The was a very entertaining short steamy read. I enjoyed the book.

Another great book from Ms. Winters! She didn’t disappoint me. I loved it! I was quickly pulled into the story and couldn’t put the book down. I thought it was original, dark but light-hearted and fun, especially for Valentine’s Day. I’ll be on the look out for her next book. Daisy has all but given up on love until one Valentine’s Day she begins hearing and seeing things that cannot be explained. Drachus has been awakened from a 300 year sleep because he realizes that it is time for him to take his bride.
The story line was promising but unfulfilled. The characters were great, well developed.

Vampire’s Curvy Valentine is not your typical insta-love story in which a couple meets, fall in love, have steamy sex, get married, have kids, and live happily ever after. Then again nothing about insta-love is typical.
In this love story, Annabelle Winters gives us two characters that, at first glance, are very ill-suited for one another. You know, the whole supernatural bloodsucker and human pairing. Drachus is a 1000-year-old Elder Vampyre. Note the spelling. He is awakened from his 300-year dormancy by his fated bride Daisy. The way she awakens him brought out a few giggles. A girl has to get her vitamin D. Understandably, Daisy initially takes the fated to wed a vampire thing with a lot of sarcasm, but Drachus charms her right on over to the dark side. This one most certainly takes us on a steamy and very wild ride.

Just when I think that it is not possible for this author to find a new twist for her zany, intense and over-the top quick reads she surprises me. Now I’ll be honest here and say even having enjoyed this author’s work many times before, the blurb for this book gave me pause but I’m happy to say that I thought that this was a fun read that provided a bit of a freshness, lots of heat, some crazy and even some sweetness in this fated mates insta-love romance. If you have an open mind and can enjoy a break from reality this book is well worth reading.
The author has given us just two characters. Fated mates, one human and one vampyre. Daisy is a curvy woman that lives alone in the boonies and that is the way she likes it. Drachus is a vampyre (please spell it correctly) that is awakened when his bat spies see his fated mate. No he has to convince Daisy to become his mate of her own free will.

Very disappointed
I often love this author, but I had a lot of trouble with this story. I didn’t understand if the story was supposed to be coherent or absurd and comical. By leaning towards the latter option, the narrative is so full of clichés and Blah blah, that even from a humorous point of view, it wasn’t good, except for the first chapter whenthe heroin is waking up the vampire, which is quite original, even if it is involuntary on the part of the character of Daisy .
Daisy has never had a Valentine, but after going out in the sun, she wakes up a creature on the other side of the road. Whoever approaches her, turns out to be a vampire who intends to fulfill a prophecy.
