Is it her siren’s song that lures the sexy vampire? Her body? Or her heart? As a sultry siren, Cora Murphy can have any man she wants—and her interfering mother has a long list of eager candidates suited to her daughter’s station as fae royalty. But Cora just wants to live a normal life, working at Othercross as a Sentinel and hoping one day a man will fall in love with her instead of succumbing … succumbing to her mystical—and totally bogus—allure.
Of course, that can’t happen if she never lowers the glamour she uses to prevent every Tom, Dick, and Harriet from following her around like love-struck puppies. Even her best friend, Deo Nicolaides, must have been hit by her siren song, because the young vampire keeps trying to get her into bed. As tempting as that might be, Cora doesn’t dare give in to her primal desires. She’d rather die alone than live the rest of her life knowing Deo’s love isn’t true.
But what if it is?

Cora doesn’t believe Deo is her mate but deep down Deo is positive Cora is his. Good read with lots of Alpha vampire hotness. I freely reviewed this book.
Deo and Cora, she should have had more faith in him. I think that Deo knew Cora very well and just bide his time until she would finely open her eyes and SEE him.Very good story. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
“How will I know”…
Being able to trust that someone’s love is true is hard for anyone. The fact that she’s a Siren makes it impossible for Cora. How’s a lovesick Vamp like Deo ever going to get his girl/Siren? I loved this addition to the series. I do have one question…did anybody else hear Whitney Houston singing in the background while reading this?!?
*I received an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book as well as purchasing a copy which I am voluntarily reviewing*
Quick read but has a story that zips along!
Cora works diligently for the Judiciary but it can be exhausting, especially keeping up the glamour that hides her “real” self. But it keeps the males around her safe from her accidental call. But it will also lead to her early death, if she is glamoured then she can’t feel the link to her other half.
Deo has pretty much been in love with Cora since he can remember. He was never quite good enough for her, according to her parents, and they made sure he knew his place in the pecking order. How can he convince Cora to give them a chance when she doesn’t want to take the chance that the pull to her is only her powers?
OMG Kelly nearly steals the show again. That girl is trouble now, lord knows what she’ll be like when she reaches her majority! I loved Deo, he is willing to help Cora find her love, even if it isn’t him. Mother dearest is an absolute horror, I’d have blasted her long ago!
Book three in the series brings Cora and Deo’s story. The authors once again brings strong characters and an entertaining story, moves it quickly and smoothly with detailed and descriptive writing and delivers a sweet best friends to romance love story. Their chemistry is hot and I enjoyed reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Well worth reading!
Such a good series. Never really read about a siren before. I love the authors take on the supernatural. This book is about Cora, she is a siren who has a shield around her to protect others from her siren call. But now as she’s getting older she starting to feel sickness. If she does not find her meat or marry she will die. Deo is a vampire, his sire is a master vampire. He has been best friends with Cora for as long as he can remember, a friendship that has grown over the years. Deo wants Cora for more than just a friend, but she’s afraid it is not real that he is getting caught by her being a siren, and she does not want to lose his friendship. One kiss has changed their lives forever. It is a good book following their relationship and seeing how they finally come together for the perfect happily ever after.
I went into this expecting a fun story but actually it wasn’t exactly as frothy as I’d expected. The third book about the Judiciary service that governs the Paranormal community actually had what I thought was the best story yet. Yes I know it’s short so I’m judging it by how much I enjoyed it overall and that fellow readers was really quite a lot.
I had sympathy for Cora the Siren who felt she couldn’t ever drop her glamour particularly when her mother tried to manipulate her. I could empathise with Deo because he’s known he loves Cora for such a long time in spite of no ‘beloved ‘ bond springing into place. I’m particularly loving a certain young Witch who keeps popping up as she definitely makes me smile. I’m guessing it’s not going to be too long until we get a Werewolf romance and this time a Gargoyle was briefly mentioned so I’m very hopeful that somehow the authors can expand on that idea. Short admittedly but nevertheless it was a fun entertaining read
This voluntary take is of an advanced copy and my thoughts are honest and I believe fair
Delightful story.
The hot vampire and the sexy siren were meant to be together. Deo and Cora was a delightful story about going from friends to lovers. This is a sort, sweet read. I can’t wait to read the next book.
Vampire Siren was an opulent dance of characters in a quick read that was enjoyable. Cora reminded me of the insecurities that we all have that we want to fall in love for love and know it is true. She has an overbearing mother and expected duties. Deo is just the childhood friend that wants to love her. There was a lot of description and action packed into such a fast read. I thought even the secondary characters like Kelly were a hoot.
Seriously. Each book in this series is just getting better and better.
Cora is a siren, at almost forty, she’s deteriorating and holding out for true love. Not a trick of her siren’s call. She works hard and though a royal, is gracious. But she’s running out of time to find s mate and her parents take matters into their own hands.
Deo, forty, is a vampire who is best friends with Cora but though their bond is strong it’s not the real thing.
Or is it?
Is she his beloved?
Recommend.
This was a sweet read to the series. I loved Deo and Cora’s character, they started as friends and it became more. Deo’s fierce determination to not give up on Cora was sweet to follow. Another enjoyable add to this great series. I can’t wait to see what is next.
Another enjoyable and entertaining read. I would say I didn’t get the same vibe from Cora like we did from Deo he was all in from the get go, but as always true love conquers all. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
This was my favorite in the series so far. I absolutely loved Deo and Cora. And the moment of their first kiss, excellent. These short, sexy stories are totally working for me. Still waiting for Kelly 🙂
Cora’s mother-omg! I liked Cora’s strength. Cora was so afraid of losing Deo as a good friend if their relationship went further, that she almost lost her chance at forever love!! Smh! Thankfully, Deo is persistent. The thing I didn’t like was when Cora said “we” wasted so much time; I saw red! Not we- you and your family, because Deo pursued her relentlessly and SHE rebuffed him and going further! Own your mistake Cora!
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Cora is a Siren.
As a Siren, she can attract any men she wants.
But Cora only wants a normal life.
Is that too much to ask?
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
