This series gets even better that when we first started! So many revelations that will leave your head spinning and begging for more! I can’t wait to dive into the next.
I bought the first in this series over two years ago and simply couldn’t make time to read it. By the time I finished it, I was so intrigued by these characters that I wanted to know more and bought this one to read immediately after. I didn’t disappoint. We learn what makes Arianna so special and what her place in this new plane of existence means, not only to her but to the princes who surround her and the people she is learning to care about, be they vampire or fae. There are lies and deceit aplenty, and in the midst of it all, this young woman is trying to figure out how she’s going to survive and what her survival means to this new world she is quickly becoming a part of.
I’m falling for Fen, and finding the rest of the princes intriguing in their own ways. The story has so many layers, and the characters are exciting and colorful. I’m truly enjoying this series and have already begun the next book.
Oooo ooo ooo oooooooo no not another ending like that… I have to know more. Such twists and tricks I didn’t see coming. I am loving this, watching the characters grow and the story developing. I am so invested in this series now, I need the next book….
I loved this one also. I am so bummed though that it is done in so many different books. I am hooked on this series. Thank you for the wonderful stories, but could you please put them in a box set instead of all individual books. Maybe I could afford to finish this if it was in a box set and at a reasonable price. Now I have to wait to finish this series. This makes me sad.
Generously rounding up for 3 & 1/2 stars. Well, the 2nd book in this series is pretty good, but I definitely liked book 1 better. There were more flow issues in this book than the first one. This didn’t hold my attention as well either, I definitely wouldn’t have stayed up late to finish this one. I feel like Ari is constantly setting herself up for bad things to happen to her. Also, the relationship between her & Fen just seem to be too angsty/teenagerish for my taste, not like a real relationship. I also felt that Fen lost some of his charm in this book. The rest of the princes definitely lost any likability too. If it weren’t for the violence in this series, I would almost say this is a Y/A series. I also don’t like that poor Ari is being used by both sides for their own purposes continuously. I hate for the heroine in stories to ALWAYS be the victim thru nearly the whole story from book to book in a series. I’m worried about book 3 holding it’s momentum for me. I find a lot of series just can’t keep that momentum.
I am glad that I got this book from KK to read. I am really enjoying this story of Ari and how she has to go about finding a prince to basically rule Hell.
I am enjoying the different views we are getting with each brother but I feel that the time between them is not equal like it should be. Granted, they have done things to make her not want to stay the full month (can’t say I blame her!) but I guess I was expecting more character interaction and less battle.
The ending surprised me though and I know that it is definitely going to be a major twist for all the other brothers so I am excited to see how this will progress.
I enjoyed this book. I had trouble following it at times because there was so much going on at one time but it was still a great read. I cannot wait to read more stories in this series.
I fell in love with the Vampire Girl world in book one and was very excited to get my hands on book 2. It did not disappoint! From the very beginning we are drawn into a world that’s interesting and unique. We are introduced to characters who are complex and evoke strong emotions one way or the other (we have to have someone we hate, right?) Ari’s world is still flipped upside down and it seems that each event, each new piece of information just throws her for another loop! I love that this series brings fae and vampires together into one world. I love the introduction in this particular book of some new characters and creatures. There are more secrets in this book than in the first. My favorite part though, is seeing Ari and Fen together…I’m still Team Fen at this point. I can’t wait for book 3!
Outstanding well written series!! Excellent characters and storylines!! A must read for Fantasy/Romance enthusiasts!!!
