When a business arrangement takes a personal turn …Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Mason’s story …Single Dad of Seattle Mason Whitfield made some big changes in his life five years … big changes in his life five years ago, starting with quitting his Fortune 500 job and moving away. Now he’s back in Seattle, he bought a bar and is finally a father–life is good. But when a beautiful mystery woman keeps coming to his bar interviewing men night after night, Mason’s curiosity is piqued and he just has to know more.
Five years ago, cancer nearly killed Lowenna Chambers. Then her husband left her–for her sister. Now in remission, she just opened up her own chocolate shop and is determined to live the best life possible. Until she’s asked to do the impossible: design an enormous chocolate center piece and give a speech for her sister and ex-husband’s wedding, on Valentine’s day of all days. A perfect opportunity to show them she’s moved on. But first, she needs a date. A drool-worthy hunk who will steal the show. Cue, Mason who is tall, dark, dangerous and with two sleeves of tattoos to boot.
But as the wedding approaches it’s no longer a simple business arrangement between Mason and Lowenna. She likes him and he wants her, but love is never that simple and a future together begins to look unattainable.
Can Lowenna get over her pain and heartache and spend Valentine’s with the single dad, or will she let yesterday haunt her today, ruining any chance of a beautiful tomorrow?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

I received an advanced reader copy. I am voluntarily leaving a review. Lowenna’s sister is getting married. To Lowenna’s ex-husband. On her birthday, which is also Valentine’s Day. She wants an escort to the wedding that will really show up the bride and groom. In enters Mason, a single dad of Seattle. He is interested in Lowenna, but she considers this a paying job. Will they find love on the most romantic day of the year? This was one of the best Single Dad books of the series. You are rooting for them both. Lowenna is a strong woman and Mason is a big hunk of romance. Strong 4.5 stars.
I thought that this was an absolutely amazing book. I found it almost too easy to fall for Lowenna and Mason as they meet and fall in love. This book has a entertaining story line that keeps you engaged and inspires some pretty intense feelings in the reader. My heart just ached for Lowenna. There is plenty of emotional, heat filled and dramatic moments as this couple’s story unfolds but also some very poignant, sweet and cute ones. I thought that there was something so special about this couple and I adored their romance.
Another great book in this series and one I am just absolutely in love with. Mason and Lowenna are seriously amazing and great together. Hes a single dad and she needs a date to his sister wedding so they agree to be each others date. I just loved everything about this story and couldn’t put down at all.
Sometimes love sneaks up on you when you least expect it. Mason is at a pretty good place in his life, money put away, a home, owns a bar and has a baby daughter via a surrogate friend. But he is lonely and would like to have a partner to share the load and celebrate the good things. His bio clock must have been ticking and fortunate to be able to have his own baby. He meets Lowenna in his bar but doesn’t realize that he did a pay it forward for her when she was so ill five years ago. I hate that she has such a mean and vindictive jealous sister. She couldn’t help that her parents neglected her sister and she is very bitter. He is trying to move her past her toxic negative feeling and make new positive ones in the future. He teaches her how to fight her demons. Nicely written and another enjoyable single dad book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
What happens when the “boyfriend for hire” wants to be the real thing?!? This amazing story of Mason and Lowenna, thats what happens! I knew I liked Mason and his story just threw me into absolute love with him. He had a rough past but after some soul searching he’s become an incredibly beautiful man and the best daddy to little Willow. I loved watching his love for Lowenna grow and flourish. Lowenna has had an absolutely shitty past and things don’t look like they are going to get better anytime soon, well until Mason that is. It’s a tough journey to let the past lye and move on but the love and hope that Mason shares with and for Lowenna is truly beautiful!! Can’t wait for more single dad’s!!!
Lowenna is bitter and she doesn’t know it. Her worst birthday is set to unfold at her sisters wedding to her ex husband! Mason swoops in chiseled and smart to boot and becomes the knight in shining armour that she needs. Laughter, tears and desires lead to a major self reservation that brings two people together and a new set of friends in sisters.
The wonderfully written storyline and the well created characters made this book a very enjoyable and entertaining read! I was so invested in this story that I read this book in one sitting!
Another fabulous book in this great series. Loving these single dads and the women they fall for and Mason’s story might be my favorite. Lowenna and Mason’s story is full of twists and turns with a unique storyline and wonderful characters. A great addition to the series.
This was another great read from Whitley and a great addition to the series. I love a good single dad romance so I could not wait to read Mason’s story he and Lowenna meet at his bar he has been watching her meet man after man for the past several weeks when he finally asks her what she is up to her simple answers with Interviewing them. When he realises she is after a date to her sister’s wedding because she is marrying her ex-husband he volunteers. I just loved this book it had me hooked and might just be my favorite from the whole series.
Two people starting over
Will it be together?
Mason and Loweena’s story.
Mason is starting fresh, his has his daughter the only female he needs. His bar and his friends. Also he is sweet, total babe and successful.
Loweena is starting over with her cancer in remission, her marriage over and the ink dry on the divorce papers oh and in need of a date to her sister’s wedding yeah well she is marrying her ex husband on Valentine’s Day no less.
So the search for Mr. Show them is in full swing.
But her search is coming up duds.
Until she catches the attention of Mason the hunky man she’s been avoiding.
Mason is curious about the beautiful woman who is entertaining a different man twice a week in his bar he doesn’t see anything romantic about the encounters so what is she doing?
So yeah their story starts there.
Neither one is looking for a real relationship but what happens when there seems to be a real connection.
Doubts , Drama and Fear may lead them to destruction but love will always overcome all.
Some steam, a lot of Sweet and not just her confections and a wonderful HEA.
Another wonderful book for The Single Dads of Seattle series. This book had a great flow to the reading. The characters had good chemistry. I enjoyed this book so much that I could not put it down.
Mason has become a single dad by choose watches the same lady that comes in to his bar. He sees her with a different man each time wondering what she is doing.
Check out this Valentine Single dads story to see what is going on in Mason’s bar.
This is the seventh book in the series and like its predecessors, it is one that will fill up anyone’s love tank. Mason is a bar owner and single father to daughter Willow. He has spent weeks watching a woman, Lowenna, parade a variety of men into his establishment as she interviews them as prospective escorts to her sister’s upcoming wedding that she has to attend. Lowenna has not had an easy time of things and all she wants to do is show up her sister and the man she is marrying, who just happens to be her ex-husband. Unfortunately, the pickings are slim. When Mason agrees to be her date for the wedding, Lowenna is thrilled and thus begins their journey. It is one of letting go and finding out what is truly important in one’s life. What I love about Ms. Cox is that she writes complex characters that one cannot help but fall for as they go through their trials and tribulations beautifully articulating the varying emotions. This can be read as a standalone and you should just take the leap and one click. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
I probably repeat this statement every time I read another book in this series but this would have to be my favourite book in the series. What can I say this is the seventh book in the Single Dads of Seattle series and the stories just keep getting better and the Single Dads just keep making my heart beat faster and faster. A gorgeous guy holding a baby “swoon” and this is what Mason does from the start of this book right to the very end. Lowenna is a woman who has been through the toughest times of her life and just when life should be finally coming up roses, the knocks start coming again. In a chain of events that puts her in the path of Mason and has these two in a transaction that Lowenna is trying to keep business like, hearts will be on the line and there might not be enough chocolate on Valentine’s Day to bring a smile to anyone’s face. A story that is heartfelt, passionate and altogether enchanting however it might just not be enough when revenge trumps love. Their journey may not be all flowers, chocolates, dancing and candlelight dinners but what it is, is sincere, genuine and full of so much heart and soul that these two will forever hold a special place with you.
I didn’t think I could love this series any more but I was wrong. I’m blown away by this story. It was wonderful and definitely has all the feels. Loved the storyline and the characters. It grabbed me from the very beginning. I didn’t want it to end but couldn’t wait to turn the page. Definitely a favorite.
Welcome back readers to another heart-throbbing romance by the lovely Ms. Cox. We are welcome backed to the land of Singled Dad’s; and this one is a Valentines keepsake you will be pulling back out every year.
Mason is a bartender, a wealthy, handsome bartender, and also a new father. A father by choice to the cutest little baby named Willow.
After weeks of watching the woman in his bar, he finally asks her what the hell she is doing with the many guys he has seen her “interviewing”. Her answer is one he was not expecting, but one he will happy to fill in for.
Lowenna is the owner of Wicked Sister Bakery and in need of a date. Yes a date, a date to her sisters wedding. A wedding to her ex-husband. Yes, you read that correctly, HER ex-husband. Lowenna needs a show stopping date to take to her sisters wedding to show them all that she is O.K, that she is better without the loser or the drama they have caused.
Now without getting into the juicy details (because there are oh so many) Mason and Loween embark on a soul searching, life changing experience that each of them need. One learning to let go and move on, and another the teacher of living life to it’s fullest. Through love and hate, through family drama and new found connections, these two scorch the pages and bring new meaning to “Let it Go”.
I loved this story so much, I loved the nity-grity of Loweena’s battle, I loved the happy-ever-after, I loved Willow and all her baby goodness. The struggle these two faced felt so real, so powerful, the emotions in it are some that everyone can relate too.
Jump into this amazing story and be prepared to loose your heart to the Single Dad’s of Seattle!!
Wow, what another amazing book in this series. This one played with my emotions throughout the book, from wanting to scream to laughing to wanting to wanting to use rage room.
I loved Lowenna and Mason together, they may of started off as an arrangement but you could see she was fighting her attraction.
I loved Mason and Lowenna with Willow, that was so sweet.
Whitley Cox did amazing job on this book. She knew how to draw out your emotions from page one.
I can’t see what comes next for the single dads of Seattle.
I couldn’t wait to hear Mason’s story and I was not disappointed. This is another wonderful installation to the Single Dads series. This was a quick read because I just couldn’t put it down. I would definitely recommend Valentine’s with the Single Dad! I received this ARC in return for an honest review.
I read this as a stand alone, but I think I would have enjoyed it more by reading the other books as well.
This is such a well written, funny, exciting, loving hot story.
Sexy bartender / owner who happens to be a single dad meets a beautiful mysterious woman whom he has watched meet with numerous men in his bar.
Curiosity gets the best of him and one thing leads to another.
Their fake love blossoms into so much more.
Great story
Mason is now my favorite by far! His and Loweena have so many stresses that make you want to rips your hair and scream, mixed in with plenty of laughing so hard!
I was so absorbed in the book and felt stress decrease with the creative productive and ways released. So vivid the descriptions had me smiling.
Defiantly a must buy book and series by author Whitley Cox.
How can a series keep getting better and drawing reader in feeling like actually there.
