I’ve never had a good Valentine’s Day.And when I think this year could be different, I accidentally destroy a display of overpriced chocolates at the mall. Fortunately, a wonderful woman pays for all the damage I caused. But her kindness isn’t free. She wants me to go on a date with her brother. All I have to do is attend a fancy party with a man I’ve never met before. Then we do meet, and I know … meet, and I know I’ll never be able to forget him. He’s powerful, stacked, and his smirk tells me he’s eager to get his hands on me.
I think we can keep things professional…
Then he finds out I’m a virgin.
Now he’s more beast than man, lusting to show me what he can do that all my other exes were too afraid to try. He calls them weak, and himself lucky.
Could this Valentine’s Day be the first one I enjoy?
Or will his secret ruin more than just the holiday?

This is the kind of Penny Wylder story I love to read. Valentine’s Day Virgin is a sweet and sexy tale, featuring a sassy heroine named Sally who is jobless and loveless, but has romantic dreams of the perfect Valentine’s Day. Through a comedic mishap, she gets set up on a Valentine’s Day blind date with Eric, the wealthy and gorgeous CEO of a greeting card company, who just happens to loathe the holiday. She’s out of her element in his world, but there’s a connection neither can deny. He’s intrigued from first glance, and can’t get her out of his mind. Their story is steamy and fun, and utterly charming. There’s a bit of drama, a lot of heat, and a pair who is perfect for each other. I loved it!
A very hot, steamy, sweet story. I quick read and a feel good book. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt the ending was a bit rushed, but that doesn’t take from the experience.
I loved this sweet, beautiful, very sexy romance. Sally and Eric’s love story is romantic and hot and heart-melting. I couldn’t put it down until I finished reading every delicious word. One of my favorite stories by Penny Wylder.
Instalove and initiation
Very good short romance, who plays its parts and keeps its promises.
I liked the beginning like the “Simpsons”: we think we are going in one direction with the first lines and at the end of the first chapter, the story has already changed of atmosphere and direction.
Sally works at a chocolatier’s kart for Valentine’s Day. But she has not blocked the wheels of her kart, and it it goes straight to an escalator where a woman, Bianca, arrives. Sally manages to stop everything before the tragedy, but she’s fired.Bianca gives the money to Sally’s ex boss but Sally wants to pay her back, so they exchange their phone number.
Bianca’s brother, Eric, needs a date to accompany him to an event organized by his mother, and Bianca then offers him Sally. Against all odds, and against his beliefs, he discovers that love at first sight may exist. However, he also discovers that Sally is a virgin: then begins her initiation.
In the end the story is both tender and very hot to read.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
I received an advanced copy of this book and my review of it follows.
This new book by Penny Wylder is somewhat of a sexy modern day fairytale, alittle bit Cinderella-ish but without the wicked step family! Of course, no actual royals here but there IS a ‘prince’ among men. Eric Marshall, CEO, of his family’s greeting card company, of all things, is hot, wealthy, handsome, thoughtful and sweet as chocolate, haha! You’ll get that reference when you read this book, lol! By the way, he hates Valentine’s Day..bad memories apparently.
Sally Landing has just ‘run’, literally and accidentally into a woman who almost became the victim of her runaway ‘I Love Chocolate’ cart in the mall. As a return favor to this woman, Bianca, for saving her life (in a weird way she really does!), Sally agrees to be date for her brother..the CEO, for a family Vday party!
Sally always scares men away as soon as they find out she is not like most girls in their mid twenties. Wimps! She’s inexperienced in the sex department and has never had a Valentine’s date…she’s a reluctant virgin!
This short, novella length story is a sweet but VERY steamy tale of regular girl meets wealthy guy and sparks are flying from that moment on…and boy do they! You might think that this sounds a little cheesy but you would be so wrong!!! The story just flows, draws you in because the characters have a beautiful connection that’s cool to watch develop and are so at ease with each other right away. It’s sweet, tender, funny and entertaining from beginning to end. Eric truly is the man of her dreams! This is a fun romantic treat, perfect to read this week for Valentine’s Day.
