I am giving this story a 4 star review for those who like reality tv and or stories. I am not one of them. This story goes into all the drama, feels and disruption you want starting with Jenna then Larry finding out about it.
Jennifer Groberg did a great job bringing the whole thing to life.
I recieved a free Audible copy of this story in exchange for a honest review.
This book was amazing. Its a sweet romance with some laughs. I am loving the Hart family. Have you read this book or any of the series? If not I recommend that you do.
The idea of a Reality TV contest show wedding has possibilities, and after several previous books in the series, it’s not like we don’t already know Larry and Jenna, but this one was just a little too Mean Girls meets Bridzilla for my tastes. The story does have some very sweet scenes and some brilliantly funny moments, but the TV show fun and is often just plain hurtful and the basic love story frequently gets lost in doubts, hurts and recrimination that an engaged and looking to be married and living happily ever after shouldn’t still be having.
Things do come together for the big finale and you’re left with a very satisfying ending, but this one just didn’t quite do it for me.
Having said that, if you’ve been following the series, you really should get Jenna and Larry’s story and the character development you’ll need for Jenna’s twin’s story which is up next, and if you love watching those Bridezilla – will they ever make it to the altar stories that are so popular with the reality romance set, you’ll probably absolutely LOVE this one.
I love the Have a Hart series and Larry is one of my favorites. He is a good heart man, been through so much and does everything Jenna wants. He wants her to have the wedding of her dreams so he goes along with them being n a wedding reality show where they have to take dares each week and they can be very humiliating.
Jenna, I love to hate her. She is spoiled rotten and at times I think Larry deserves better. However, I think that makes the book all the better. There is a lot going on, it will make you laugh at times and sigh.
Harley is always cute and adds a bit more lightheartedness to the story,
Jennifer Groberg does a great job with the narration.
If you are looking for a sweet, fun, sometimes funny, and all over good romance, this is for you.
This is another installment of the Hart Family series. The series is clean, sweet and humorous. Ayala throws in an over-the-top reality show into the wedding planning for Jenna and Larry for a funny, fast-paced read. It’s not all hearts and flowers for the couple. Will their love survive the shenanigans of the reality show and end in marriage, or will it be the end of their love?
I listened to the audio version of this book. The narration by Jennifer Groberg was very good.
