“With his latest pulse-pounding adventure, Brad Thor puts the rest of the genre on notice–Use of Force is the thriller to beat in 2017.”–The Real Book Spy From #1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor. As a storm rages across the Mediterranean Sea, a terrifying distress call is made to the Italian Coast Guard. Days later, a body washes ashore. Identified as a high value terrorism suspect …
Identified as a high value terrorism suspect (who had disappeared three years prior), his name sends panic through the Central Intelligence Agency.
Where was he headed? What was he planning? And could he be connected to the “spectacular attack” they have been fearing all summer?
In a race against time, the CIA taps an unorthodox source to get answers: Navy SEAL turned covert counterterrorism operative, Scot Harvath.
Hired on a black contract, Harvath will provide the deniability the United States needs, while he breaks every rule along the way.
Packed with pulse-pounding action, fascinating characters, and electrifying intrigue, Brad Thor does it again and proves why he is known around the world as the “Master of Thrillers.”more
I’ve read all of Brad Thor’s books. I can’t wait for the next one – Spymaster which cane out this month.
Great story, great character development. I would liked some more detail in the action sequences. In reading the Brad Thor, that is one of the biggest differences between him and some of the others in this genre, his action sequences can be very vague.
For me it was diffult to follow, but did have a good plot.
Side plot was a waste. Could have been it’s own book. Resolution too contrived. Otherwise a good solid Scott Harvath story.
Action from the first page till the last page. Couldn’t put the book down
Not Thors best. Still a good read.
A real good read!
Great action/adventure story
Once I started reading I hated to put it down. A very good and captivating read.
From page one, foot on the gas, hand on the horn, down hill, no brakes. Why can’t more authors write with intensity like this?
Not as suspenseful as his norm
Another great one from my favorite author
Brad Thor is awesome! Keep the stories coming.
Another great Brad Thor book in this series.
If you like unrealistic military/covert novels where there is lots of action, a good basic plot, and not a lot of extra words expounding on the color of the sky, the color of his eyes, a description of the designer clothes, or the beauty of the countryside. In other words it is a fun, quick, book to read where you will finish without a lot of new knowledge about the world, but will have enjoyed the time spent reading. Just the kind of book I like to read every once in a while for fun. I recommend it.
Brad Thor’s books are always exciting and hard to put down once you have started.
Incorporates current news events and latest technology into new adventures with a favorite character. Has entertaining and fresh twists without being too formulaic.
as always Brad Thor delivers another fast paced action book in the series. World affairs are highlighted and make you consider how easily we could be targeted by terrorist. Great read.
Really good anti- terrorist book. Interesting characters, action, and informative.
Another great story.
