From USA Today Bestselling author Kimberly Knight, comes a sexy, hockey suspense novel.“A sexy, romantic, shocking and suspenseful read! I loved this one from Kimberly Knight. I’ll be reading Use Me on repeat.” –Tijan, New York Times bestselling authorRhys Cole’s life has always revolved around hockey. Growing up, he knew he’d play in the National Hockey League, but when his dream of being … play in the National Hockey League, but when his dream of being drafted didn’t happen, he chose the next best thing: becoming a hockey sportscaster for a local sports station. But just like in sports, you win some, you lose some. When Rhys discovers his girlfriend cheating with a stranger in his bed, he walks to the local bar down the street to let off some steam.
After moving her way up the journalism field by covering stories in extreme weather conditions and working late hours, Ashtyn Valor is now the lead anchor for the nightly news. Finally settled into her career, Ashtyn is ready to take the next step in life with her boyfriend. But when he unexpectedly breaks up with her, Ashtyn decides to numb the pain with alcohol at the closest bar.
Rhys and Ashtyn both expected an evening of alcohol to mask the pain of that October night. What they didn’t expect was meeting someone who could shield them from the darkness of their heartaches.
Or that their pasts would dangerously intertwine …
When obsession becomes dangerous, Ashtyn turns to Rhys for safety. But how safe are they really?
The game of love always goes on.
And their game was just beginning.

4.5 stars for this couple
This story had plenty of drama to go around, between cheating significant others, a stalker, and a crazy ex boyfriend/bully, but this couple did manage to get their HEA.
Although this story did seem to go on longer than I expected, I really enjoyed it! I loved the intimacy and connection between Rhys and Ashtyn.
A really wonderful romantic suspense story. I thoroughly enjoyed the character development, the angst, the drama, the sizzle between the characters, and the plot. I also liked how the characters had a connection right away but it wasn’t instant love. They knew it was lust and attraction but definitely not love. I also liked how she gave us a complete story- how they met, how their relationship developed and in the epilogue in later in life.
When I began reading this I thought I was going to be reading another sports romance with the same old cliches. However the author used some switches and changed things up, threw in some curveballs and kept things interesting. The storyline was very enjoyable and I loved most of the characters. I wanted Corey and Brigette to find each other because they deserved to be fed some of their own medicine. An easy to read romance, with enough suspense to keep you turning the pages.
So good, I love Romantic Suspense.
I do love reading Romantic Suspense, and Kimberly Knight did not disappoint. I like a book that keeps you guessing. Rhys and Ashtyn definitely have plenty of chemistry, and this is a great story. You will have to ready for yourself to see if there will be a HEA.
This book was amazing! I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down! You will fall in love with the characters. This had the perfect mix of suspense and romance! If you are into both this is a book for you!
An amazing story. I wanted to devour this book once I started it. It kept me interested in the story and I felt invested in the characters story. It had plenty of twists and turns but overall was a fantastic story about love and overcoming obstacles. I loved it.
Fast-paced, exciting and fabulously sexy romance. Rhys and Ashtyn have a chance meeting at the local bar when Ashtyn needs when another guy tries to hit on her. They found an immediate connection both having just had a relationship implode. This random encounter sparked the beginning of a great friendship. As these two dance around keeping it casual while both begin to realize that something more is happening between them. During this time, Ashtyn finds herself the focus of a stalker which adds a great mystery and ramps up the intensity in the story. I loved the integration of both of their careers, Rhys as he does sports broadcasting for hockey and Ashtyn as she delivers the news. I enjoyed this couple and how they were hesitant to start a new relationship after the fallout of their old ones. The supporting cast added to their journey and added humor to balance the intensity.
Use Me (Dangerously Intertwined #1) by Kimberly Knight is a great read. This is Rhys and Ashtyn’s story and is full of suspense, danger, romance and twist & turns that keep you hooked from the first page. I love this author and I loved this book!!
“Use me anytime” -Rhys
This was an interesting read different from some of my other romantic reads it had some hockey in it. I’m not sure I’ve ever read any romantic books that also involved sports now that I think about it
There was humor, some sexiness, and the story had some crazy thriller/mystery twists to it.
Ashtyn Valor a news anchor for her local nightly news station gets dumped by her boyfriend Corey who says he’s been seeing other woman the whole time. Then there is Rhys Cole who was in love with hockey but never made it pro so he became a local hockey sportscaster instead. Rhys is with Bridgette or at least he is until he catches her getting it on with another man in his bed. So like most people do to get over their ex’s Ashtyn and Rhys end up at a bar the same one to be exact and the story goes from there. Rhys becomes somewhat Ashtyn’s fake boyfriend at first but after one night together things start to unfold from there. Between Ashtyn’s secret admirer and her ex who also has a past with Rhys and then Bridgette showing up trying to get back with Rhys the book is definitely a page-turner.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read Watch Me about Ethan Valor and Reagan McCormick.
5 USE ME STARS!! This story was EVERYTHING!! Rhys and Ashtyn story will touch your heart and keep you turning pages. They both had terrible relationships and not looking for another. Kimberly Knight started this series out with a bang.
I’ve been so behind on my reading and I finally got around to this little gem. I’m glad I did! There were a couple times I wanted to slap the main characters and say, “Oh, come on now!! Say it! Say it!” All-in-all a sweet love story with a few dark twists and turns that kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next.
I’ll definitely never look at cupcakes the same way. 😉
Rhys and Ashtyn…were do I begin? Their story is one that hits deep. We all either know someone that has had a cheating boyfriend/girlfriend or have gone through it ourselves. The feelings you get while reading Use Me are real.
Having just been dumped Ashtyn decides to go drown her sorrows. Rhys literally just walked in on his girlfriend in the midst of cheating on him in his own bed. He leaves and goes to the bar to have a few drinks. Who knew that two complete strangers drowning their sorrows in the same bar would be the start of a beautiful story! I loved the I initial meeting between Rhys and Ashtyn in the bar. It was such an easy interaction between them. You just knew that whatever relationship they developed was going to be a solid one. No one could have prepared me for how their pasts were intertwined though. Blew my mind!
Use Me is extremely well written. There’s the perfect amount of background information about each character to make the story well founded. The relationship between Rhys and Ashtyn grows and changes throughout the first half of the story. The second half they are challenged and confronted with their past. A past that is determined to stop their happiness at any cost.
A good suspense, gripping, and intense romance story, it is captivating. Interesting and intriguing characters, it is well written. A pleasure to read this book, thank you.

Oh this book gave me the good feels! It’s a wonderful book.! When Ashtyn’s boyfriend Corey breaks up with her and says all kinds of hateful things it destroys her. She goes to the local bar to drown her sorrows when she meets Rhys. Rhys has just caught his livein girlfriend with another guy in his bed. He’s drowning his sorrows too. When Another guy try’s to pick up Ashtyn she pretends Rhys is her boyfriend and he goes along with it. They are both sort of local celebrities she’s a late night news anchor and he’s a sprortscater. She posts the a picture of the two of them on social media and it causes quite a stir. And the end of the evening he tells her she can use him anytime. Their a instant bond between the two that starts a friend’s with benefits relationship.But.can they stay just friends? There intense moments in the book that kept me enthralled with this book! I loved this book so much I couldn’t put it down! It’s an excellent romantic story!
