From USA Today Bestselling author Kimberly Knight, comes a sexy, hockey suspense novel.“A sexy, romantic, shocking and suspenseful read! I loved this one from Kimberly Knight. I’ll be reading Use Me on repeat.” –Tijan, New York Times bestselling authorRhys Cole’s life has always revolved around hockey. Growing up, he knew he’d play in the National Hockey League, but when his dream of being … play in the National Hockey League, but when his dream of being drafted didn’t happen, he chose the next best thing: becoming a hockey sportscaster for a local sports station. But just like in sports, you win some, you lose some. When Rhys discovers his girlfriend cheating with a stranger in his bed, he walks to the local bar down the street to let off some steam.
After moving her way up the journalism field by covering stories in extreme weather conditions and working late hours, Ashtyn Valor is now the lead anchor for the nightly news. Finally settled into her career, Ashtyn is ready to take the next step in life with her boyfriend. But when he unexpectedly breaks up with her, Ashtyn decides to numb the pain with alcohol at the closest bar.
Rhys and Ashtyn both expected an evening of alcohol to mask the pain of that October night. What they didn’t expect was meeting someone who could shield them from the darkness of their heartaches.
Or that their pasts would dangerously intertwine …
When obsession becomes dangerous, Ashtyn turns to Rhys for safety. But how safe are they really?
The game of love always goes on.
And their game was just beginning.

Rhys and Ashtyn meet at a bar and commiserate together. They become friends , then friends with benefits and then more. Their characters are strong , have a hot chemistry and fiery passion. The scenes are painted vividly and the story moves quickly and smoothly. It’s an exciting read with drama and suspense mixed in with the steamy romance. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

They just wanted a drink to drown their sorrows but they found each other at that bar. Even if they started as something fake, love took them by surprise

I really enjoyed this book from the very first page with the well written storyline and very likable characters that kept me totally glued to my kindle! The chemistry between Rhys and Ashtyn was so hot that I had a very hard time putting this book down!
GREAT READ!
An intense edgy read with that will keep you wanting to turn the pages as the suspense filled twists draw you in infused with fun exciting banter and lip-biting sexy hot chemistry! One heck of an enjoyable must read!
I’m torn about giving this book 3 or 4 stars. On one hand, I love our main characters and their relationship is fun, sweet, and honest, albeit a little cheesy at a few points. It was refreshing to read about two people falling in love over time, dealing with normal people problems like work schedules and not-endless supplies of cash. On the other hand, there is simply too much drama here for one book. Maybe this could have been a duet? Also, this is a personal preference, but I can’t stand epilogues that wrap things up too neatly. It’s nice to leave the reader wanting just a little more, wondering and imagining how things turn out. It’s a perfect excuse to write the next book, too! This is definitely worth reading and I would pick up something by this author again.

“We were there for each other to chase away the darkness that held us hostage because the pain was too fresh and raw to deal with it alone.”
5 Cupcake stars!!! What an intense and suspenseful ride this book was!! I enjoyed every single page!
Rhys Cole had big dreams of being a professional hockey player, but has settled into being a hockey broadcaster. And he loves his job, his life, and his girlfriend, that is until he catches her cheating on him one fateful night. Deciding that he didn’t want mope around he goes down to his local bar to drink his troubles away. That’s where he meets gorgeous Ashtyn, Chicago’s nightly news anchor. The minute these two meet it’s instant chemistry and heat! They can’t stay away from each other, but when their pasts collide with their present things start to shift.
It’s no lie that I love all things Kimberly Knight, but I have to say she definitely has a knack for the suspense. And this book definitely proves that! You can’t help but fall for the characters she creates and the storylines that she concocts. Definitely one of my favorite series to date!
Rhys & Ashtyn are each other’s rebounds & both end up together after breaking up with their exes. Initially the thought is to use the other but it turns into more. They have high profile jobs & make a great pair. I felt the connection between our two however it was a bit slow to start. Unfortunately their exes come back to haunt each other in more ways than one.
Overall you can feel the suspense building & there’s a slight twist with one of the exes. A bit predictable in parts but we do get a HEA.

These two meet by chance after a bad interaction with both of their recent exes. They are both so career driving a relationship isn’t in the cards for either of them. They come to an agreement that seems perfect, until it isn’t.
Use Me had me chewing on my fingernails to see who would take the next step and if they would dance a beautiful tango or end in a mess on the floor.
