Even though the band hasn’t been together or perform for quite some time, they are always there for each other. Tucker has always tried to keep 2 of his bandmates from falling apart but everything finally caught up with them.

When he finds out he has to co-guardian with Sage Heywood, the aunt to the baby, they both are determine to make sure they do what is right for the baby. We find out Sage is a very strong individual who has had to deal with a lot from her family and her ex-husband. It takes Tucker’s sweet personality (even though he’s not always sweet) to bring out Sage and get her to confide in him what she has had to deal with. We have Sage’s parents’ wanting to dispute the will and take their granddaughter from Tucker and Sage and not because they love her but for other reasons.
It’s great to see who Tucker truly is as a person and not this party guy who didn’t have a care in the world. And we get to see how much his chosen family meant to him and the lengths he would go through for any of them. We find out what Sage has overcome and we truly see how strong she is and when she finally takes a stand against her parents to protect her niece. Tucker also finds out and finally understands what his mother did and why she did it.
This is such a heartwarming story about 2 stranger who come together to take care of a child because of the deep love they each have for baby’s parents. We get to find out the real person that is Tucker and Sage and why they are perfect for each other.
GAH!! All the feels happened while reading this one!! Tragic & heartbreaking, sweet & beautiful. A little bit of everything all rolled into one fabulous story. The author tore my heart to shreds and then slowly stitched all of the pieces back together.
US AFTER YOU by Claudia Burgoa takes you through every single emotion. Tucker and Sage are barely acquaintances when met with a sad set of circumstances. They have to decide to make it or break it. They have something worth fighting for on a few different levels. I can’t wait to read ALL of Claudia’s other books!
I loved It!! I have enjoyed every book I’ve read by Claudia Burgoa and this one was no different. The story was good and included lots of characters for previous books so I felt like I was visiting friends and family. This wasn’t the usual love at first sight, there was an attraction but the relationship was more of a slow ember. Tucker and Sage each have troubled pasts and difficult family dynamics they have to fight through to find their own family. Great Book.
Oh my gosh are you guys in for an emotional ride with Us After You. Tucker, Nana and the rest of the Sinners are back in this emotionally gripping and heart wrenching story of loss, love, sacrifice and family. It’s the story of Tucker, Sage and one sweet little baby that brings everyone together.
Tucker was all kinds of swoony and Sage was a sassy, and strong independent woman. Although she hadn’t had the easiest life, the potential her sister and even Tucker and the rest of the Sinners saw in her to raise her niece was heartwarming and precious. Hannah, Alex, Zeke, and Ethan all have really big parts in this story. It was really great to see so many of the characters we love from previous books make appearances and to get updates on what’s going on in their lives.
As always Claudia Burgoa’s writing is spot on and flawless with her attention to every emotion, detail and in her character development. If you loved the Sinners, pick up this book and check back in with everyone on this emotional journey. While this wasn’t my favorite out of all Claudia’s books TBH, it was still a good emotionally gripping read.
*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book!
A super slow burn filled with a lot of emotion, heart, hope, and love.
This may very well be my favorite Claudia book yet, and that is saying a lot because I’ve read most of her books. But I’ve always been partial to the Deckers!
This book focuses on another member of Sinners of Seattle, but it also contains a bit of a Decker crossover. Though it isn’t necessary to read the Decker books first, I can say that knowing all the backstory really enhanced this reading experience for me.
Tucker Decker is so much more than he is given credit for. He may come across as a playboy and a partier, but he is really just a caregiver who wants nothing more than to believe and to feel that he is enough, and to know he is loved unconditionally. I think this is something many of us can relate to.
Sage is a little lost and little scared. And who can blame her with that backstory? (Keeping it spoiler free!)
Tucker and Sage are thrown together after a tragedy in order to raise her niece. This is a responsiblity neither of them saw coming.
What follows is a story about finding one’s place in the world, and learning that family isn’t always what you are born in to. Family is also something you create.
A definite must read!
Sinners of Seattle – Book 2
Wow this book has a lot of stories. It’s intertwined with Almost Perfect. I recommend reading Almost Perfect to get a better understanding of the dynamic of this friendship.
The band is a family and they consider each other siblings. When one goes down, they all go down.
Tucker has been covering up for Rocco and Zeke for quite sometime now, until everything starts crashing down and huge life decisions are made.
After years of gathering their lives, Rocco is back in the picture and with a huge step in his life. While everyone looks on, Tucker is wondering if it’s all real and who is the new Rocco.
Life changes, Sacrifices, Trust, Love and above all friendship. This group becomes United more then ever and must keep the most important thing in their life safe and sacred.
Tucker is a billionaire and former rock band member that tries to take care of his friends. He grew up in a two parent loving household. He formed a rock band in his teens and considers his ex band mates as his family. He would do anything for them. Sage grew up in a no love and with a nanny household. She is staying with her grandparents and working in their bookstore. The couple have met a few times and felt the chemistry but it was never the right time. Now that a tragic incident has occurred, Tucker and Sage are forced together. The sparks between them are electrifying and intense. An all around great read that will stay with you for some time.
Loved this slow burn romance. Nate and Sage will stay with me for a while. One of the things I loved is that it doesn’t really follow the typical romance plot line, in that a tremendous amount of the story is about the hero and heroine before they’re thrown together. There were times when I was questioning if the author was going to be able to pull it off, but she does. This is the first book I’ve read in the Sinners in Seattle series, and as it turns out, this is the last one in the series. I didn’t have any trouble following along. You definitely get the vibe that the side characters have stories of their own and this is a book where you get to see a bit of the HEA’s for them in this book, but at no point was I confused or did I feel like I should have read the earlier books first. I enjoy Burgoa’s writing and will definitely be reading more.
Us After You by Claudia Burgoa is the story ov Tucker Decker and if you have read Claudia’s other books you know him already, about his friends and his family. This is the story of Tucker trying to getting on track with his life but he find himself in a difficult situation and sharing it with Sage.
They know each other in the past a bit due to the relationship between Tucker’s friend and Sage sister, but when they died they left their daughter Mae in the hands of Tucker and Sage and they need to find a way to rise that little girl.
If you want to know more about the story you NEED to read, the book is amazing and show you how you can overcome difficult situations in your life if you really want to be a better person and also at the same time you can find the love of your live and have your HEA.
Cant wait to know more about Tucker’s friends! Claudia did an amazing job with this story.
Heartbreaking, Intense and Beautiful are all words that come to mind when I think about this book. Right from the start we are hit with a letter that lets us know things for the characters will never be the same. The book then jumps to the past and slowly brings us up to speed with what lead Rocco to write the letter that he did.
This book kind of starts over lapping where the book Almost Perfect left off. At the end of Almost Perfect we get Hanna’s point of view with what is going on with her friends and this book shows us more about what was going on from the other members perspective and follows Tucker as he navigates life.
I LOVE these characters and this story line. This book took me on a ride for sure because there were many heartbreaking moments but there were also funny ones and happy ones and HOT HOT steamy ones.
This book is a must read one for sure!

My heart was completely torn in two, but page by page it began to stitch itself back together until it was whole once again and beating a musical beat.
This is exactly how I felt after finishing Us After You. My heart began to beat and prove to me that life moves on even if my thoughts are still completely absorbed with Tucker, Sage, and baby Mae. Their story was so tragic but by the end so beautiful. It went from hurt to heal because of the love they were surrounded by and the love soon to be discovered.
This book had so many lows but by the end I was soaring high damning Claudia Burgoa for letting it end.
This was Tucker Decker and Sage Hayward’s story
they were thrown together when tragedy happens to there loved ones. but they learn to trust each other and build a friendship that turns into more
This book has some sad parts (you will need tissues) but it also has laughter and happy ending
I have loved every book I have read by Claudia and this one is the best so far
Can’t wait to see what comes next
A definite slow burn but so worth it. Have some tissues handy!!
Tucker’s non-traditional family and upbringing has made him the perfect person to end up co-parenting an adorable baby who has just lost her parents with said baby’s biological aunt, Sage. Who he finds absolutely fascinating in a way no other woman has ever interested him.
Sage hasn’t been sure what to make of Tucker since she met him at her sister’s wedding to his brother. He’s far too handsome. She is justifiably skittish of the seemingly smooth, handsome rich man.
She is envious of the love and inclusivity the Deckers and their circle seem to offer. This is amazing to someone who was brought up by cold, emotionless automatons who care more about money, image, and themselves than their children…who all have left New York and their influence. The parents who keep trying to get her back with the man who abused her.
So when she finds herself living with, and co-guardians with, Tucker after her sister and husband’s unexpected deaths, she is in a whole new world. A world where people care. She finds herself being fully immersed in this world. Not just watching from the outside.
This book has a lot of emotion. The Sinners have to deal with some thorny issues…primarily Rocco and Zeke’s drug use and Tucker’s tendency to avoid dealing with emotional things even if he is a fixer.
Sadly, Rocco sees things differently than everyone else. Although the other Sinners have been healing together and want him there too.
Tucker is also finally dealing with his emotional fallout from his mother’s original decision to give him up for adoption. It is an ongoing process. But he is amazing with Mae, the baby.
And this tragedy brings a lot of unity and joy into Tucker and Sage’s lives.
Tucker and Sage’s issues have also made them determined to give that little girl all the love and security they felt was missing from their own childhoods. Which is exactly what their parents wanted. As well as playing a little bit of a matchmaker.
This story deals with issues of rape, abuse, and drugs.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Another heart wrenching and amazing beautiful story. The connectedness of all the characters and their dynamic is such an amazingly tight family. They all have each other’s backs. Tucker is a strong male with the softest side for those who he loves and cares for and his and Sage’s story as it develops truly pulled on my heart. For me the opening of the story absolutely grabbed me, then it fell a bit, but hooked me in once again.
Tucker and Sage are brought together by an unexpected event, changing their lives forever. Both are dealing with unanswered questions and while trying to navigate through unchartered waters, feelings start to emerge between them. This was an emotional read that shows the true meaning of family, loyalty and trust when dealing with unexpected reality. Another great read from this author! Looking forward to the next one!
Us After You is beautifully heartbroken.
Claudia is a great writer, she caught me from the first page.
I loved this story! I cried (a lot), I laughed, I get angry (a little bit) too, but I was very happy to be part of this beautiful journey with Tucker, Sage and Mae.
Us after you was brilliantly and beautifully written. It was emotional read for me and those are the kinds of books that remain in my mind for years to come. Claudia has written another fabulous book in her new series with this one as the second book. I loved it and I do highly recommend the this series. I look forward to more of this series and hope that you will to. One click today.
Down and Dirty, book 5 in the Hot Jocks Series.
In this installment we get to meet Aubree and Landon., the sweet pixie and the quiet, shy alpha hockey player. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there, a quickie wedding, finds them getting to know each other backwards. As a couple, it was so much fun to follow along with their love story. This story had all the feelings we have come to love in a Kendall Ryan book, and a wonderful HEA to boot.
Absolutely loved this book!! After a devastating loss, Tucker and Sage have to bond together to save little Mae from going into the wrong hands. This was a very emotional story. So many ups and downs throughout. It was an amazing read. I did find it a bit confusing at times as there are a lot of characters and I haven’t read some of Claudia’s earliest work, so was lost a little bit as to who everyone was. That was minimal though. I did love Tucker and Sage and thier close friends. So much love and a strong bond between all of them. A definite must read.
