By the reviews I thought this book would be more humorous. Unusual the main character married so many times and always looking for the next man even though she says she doesn’t want one. The older women were somewhat funny. I finished the book but more than likely would not read again.
Okay. Genre typical.
i got this book free with my UK,Its a good thing I got it free. I tried to read it & gotten get pass the first few pages. Not my kind of book
It scrambled my brain and made me laugh out loud.
Cozy Mystery in Florida Retirement Community
This ‘first in series’ book introduces us to a retirement community of quirky seniors, their friends, and their small Florida town. The plot is just a hoot. We get to know everyone through the eyes of a twenty-something granddaughter who is a six-time divorcee. The book is a hoot! I bought this book and this is my honest opinion.
Carried you along, but lacked depth. Maybe a second book in a series could develop the characters more & have better plot development.
This was an entertaining mystery. It is a quick read and enjoyable.
Painfully unfunny. Pointless. I pushed on to p. 74, thinking something was bound to happen. I didn’t. Worst book I’ve read in in all of 2018.
Gun toting grannies out to help the police and catch bad guys. The scene where Nikki’s grandmother grabbed the peeping tom by his privates was so histerical. But who was out to destroy her I didn’t see it coming. But it was a quick and easy read and was enjoyable.
The actions and adventures of these mischievous grannies and their granddaughter are hilarious. Great characters-great read-loved everything about it!
This author would benefit from a grammar class and a good editor. Seriously, an inanimate object can’t sit or sat!
Great book, loved the characters, can’t wait to start on the next book and hope there will be lots more to follow.
I really liked this book. It’s amusing and the grannies are comical. Good read.
This book was fun to read and perfect for an evenings entertainment. The elderly ladies were very believable characters and the granddaughter having been married 6 times makes it a little hard to take seriously.
Could be a good series, but think the granddaughter Nikki character needs to be rewritten,
A light read with fun characters.
Relaxing reading for cold weather.
Easy read when you just want to relax and rest your mind. Entertaining.
What great characters these grannies are. I found myself lol a couple of times. This book is fun and I will read more by this author. I didn’t want to put this book down and didn’t want it to end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and followed up in the same weekend by reading “The Root of All Evil” and by pre- ordering the next one in the series.
Nice easy reading book. Good story line and it was a fun story
