I waited ten years to grasp hold of a woman I knew was too good to be mine.Back then, I had failed her. But I knew, somehow, someway, unknowingly to her, I’d find a way to make it up to her.All the years in between, I watched her from afar. Keeping her safe, protecting her from the shadows that crept in the deep, dark of the night. Then, out of the blue, she unraveled me with one sweep of her … with one sweep of her innocent little tongue.
The woman drew me straight toward all her light.
Blinding
Intoxicating.
Mine.
It didn’t take long for me to come undone. Fall in love and change the course of my life.
Ellie Wynn had untwisted me from leading a lifestyle that should have never been mine.
Then fate gave us a crash course about how not all good things come to those who wait.
I’d failed her once again.
This time, her life is on the line.
I’m strung up because of it. I’m tumbling down because I should have known, the shadow that lurked in the night would steal her from me, in a blink of an eye.
And, now, I’m left to wonder how much can a person take before they break?

Holy Guacamole!! After the jaw-dropping cliffy we were given at the end of Undone, I couldn’t wait to find out how things would (or wouldn’t) work out. Shadow’s back and he’s intent on terrorizing Logan and Ellie, getting his revenge. He’s the bad guy and has no right to vengeance, but it made for one heck of a twist to the plot.
While I enjoyed the horrors Shadow introduced and the torment he caused to all of the characters, I found his capture a bit convenient. It was too easy and lacked the oomph that I felt the story was building up to. It was also hard to find the hidden gems of awesomeness this book held when so much of this story was built on a lot of words. It seemed that simple events and sentiments were made into complicated and verbiose internal monologues. In essence, this book was too wordy and I had to skip pages to get to the point. As a fan of this author and a reader of several of her books, I found the writing of this one very different from the rest. In fact, this entire series read like a convolution of words, but it was still enjoyable and entertaining.
This trilogy was all about pain, loss, revenge and redemption and I’m interested to see if the author will give us more books about the Mitchell brothers.
Shadow gets what he deserves and two broken souls heal one another and find their HEA.
Great ending to this trilogy. Ellie showed how truly strong and resilient she was and in the end everyone got what they deserved. Highly recommend this trilogy!!
YOU CAN FEEL THE LOVE BETWEEN LOGAN & ELLIE…
Whoa…UNTWIST was the perfect ending to the Unbound Trilogy, and Logan Mitchell is one of the hottest characters ever!!! plus I had these hot book covers to look at through the whole series…If you haven’t already, read UNDONE and UNTWIST, the first two books of this series, DO IT NOW, before you read UNTWIST…
Twisted is an appropriate description for this story….Logan Mitchell was a successful business owner and “teacher” before he found Ellie…Behind Closed Doors is a sex club, and Logan doesn’t just own it…..And Logan doesn’t just work there…Logan has pretty much made it his life…Then he meets Ellie, and EVERYTHING changes….
Ellie is a sweet girl, and she has had some life most altering experiences in her short life…but she’s one of the strongest heroines Ii have ever read….But she is not a victim…she’s definitely a survivor…..and at the end of UNDONE we saw Shadow is now out of prison, and that means all bets are finally off…..I loved how mature these characters are…no playing games…they say what they mean and they mean what they say…. …And I’m not giving anymore away…you need to read…
This book …this series, actually, has so much good “stuff” in it….I laughed…I cried real tears…and I had every emotion in between….To me, the sign of a good book is one that makes you feel….UNTWIST is a REALLY good book, and I highly recommend this series….
What an ending for Elle and Logan. This couple left me gutted and left me raw, but it was so very worth the ending.
Here is more of my review here on YouTube https://youtu.be/Gi7RcfjUBP8
Nervous doesn’t even get to describe the way I was feeling when I started reading this book.
I was shaking all over. Anxious at the same time and a bit afraid.
I didn’t have a doubt about loving this book, no doubt at all, but I was scared of the outcome.
Kathy Coopmans has the ability to put a huge smile on my face in a sec or put me into tears in the next.
She has this power over me… Dayum.
But before I tell you a bit more about this new book, I need to tell you something.
This trilogy is not a standalone, therefore you need to read Unravel, Undone and only then Untwist. Don’t skip books. You can’t.
Like I said, Untwist is her latest release and it’s the third book from The Unbound trilogy. A trilogy you can’t miss.
This new book keeps exploring the lives of Logan and Ellie.
Had you know, these two love each other but the secrets they have is tearing their relationship apart.
In order to be together, those secrets need to be revealed, to be solved but at what cost?
I was… I was… I was… Speechless. That’s the word. Speechless.
This book just stole my heart. Heck, this trilogy stole not only my heart but my soul as well.
It was perfect. It was amazing. It was stunning. It was raw.
It was all of what you can think that makes a great story and more.
Superb plot, very well written, super engaging and intense. Each chapter was better than the latest and oh boy.
What can I say? How can I praise this book even more without spoiling? How can I tell you more about it without telling too much?
I can’t. I can’t.
This book will give you pain, suffering, madness, crime, drama, torture as well as unconditional love, friendship, loyalty, and desire.
The hot stuff is through the roof and will melt your panties. Just saying.
It was a joy to read this book. OK, it wasn’t all joy, it was hard to read some stuff, it made me cry and shake, but so worth it.
Kathy, you my dear are indescribable. You are amazing and your books have been a pleasure to read.
I want more. I need more.
So I must ask? Are you going to give Lane and Seth their own books? And how about Norah? Please…
Please say yes… Please…I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the third book in the Unbound Trilogy by Kathy Coopmans. You need to have read Unravel and Undone before reading Untwist or you are going to be lost. If you have read Undone you know that we were left with a huge cliffhanger. This book picks up right where that one left off and Shadow is intent on getting his revenge on Ellie and Logan. Basically his mission is to terrorize them. This book is filled with twists and turns that you will not see coming. It will leave you one the edge of your seat and I thought it was the perfect conclusion to the trilogy. If you love romantic suspense then you do not want to miss this book or the other in the trilogy.
I’m so glad we FINALLY got to see the end of this trilogy! I have been dying to see how Shadow was captured, and I needed to see Logan & Ellie get their HEA. This was such an emotional journey, and I’m so glad that we got the finale we needed.
5 Stars
Untwist by Kathy Coopmans is the third and final book in the Unbound Trilogy. It cannot be read as a stand-alone, so if you haven’t read the first two books, you’ll need to before reading this.
I really have no words!!! This book was amazing! Suspenseful, packed with heat, and an all consuming connection between the main characters. I seriously could not wait to get my hands on it-needing to know all of the answers. And boy did Ms. Coopmans deliver!!!
I really can’t say much but I will say that this trilogy is the best three books Ms. Coopmans has ever written. I felt so many emotions while reading-sadness, hope, and love. Logan and Ellie’s journey is not easy whatsoever, but it is so worth it! Highly recommend reading this book!
Untwist …. the third book and conclusion of Logan and Ellie’s story, in the Unbound Trilogy.
This story is one of courage, strength, love, unity and family. We always hear that people fight to the death for the ones they love. When we’re faced with something that is only in the movies, how would you respond? You have two choices … fight or flight. In Ellie and Logan’s case? They fight. They fight with everything they can to protect each other, to come back to the ones that matter most. This story had me on the edge of my seat, quickly turning the pages to see what will happen next. This trilogy is everything and then some. It’s a story of unmasking the evil in this world and battling it out to become a victor in the challenge.
Kathy Coopmans writing has always captivated me. Her books are amongst my favorites. The characters are relatable, and you can’t help but root them on. You want them happy and loved and tough as nails. There are times that you’ll need a tissue or two, no matter if it’s tears of sadness or joy, just keep them close. I’m excited to see what she has in store for us next!
5 Untwisted Stars!!!
This is the last book in The Unbound Series and omg what an ending!! You definitely must read the first two books in this series before you read this.
We pickup exactly where we left off. Shadow’s lied about his release date and he’s came for Logan and Ellie. Caught them by surprise. He’s shot Logan and left him for dead and taken Ellie but not before she fought for Logan.
Logan knew he should’ve killed Shadow years ago and he’s regretted it ever since. Logan doesn’t plan on making that mistake again. But until he gets that chance he’s gotta take it easy. Logan’s been shot and his younger brothers and closest allies are banding together to find and get Ellie back home and serve up Shadow on a silver platter to Logan. Logan just has to be patient which he’s not known for doing.
Ellie has lived in fear bc of Shadow since he entered her life and ESP since the night he attacked her. Ever since meeting Logan her entire life changed. She doesn’t want to love her life afraid and alone anymore. Ellie loves the light, happiness and strength Logan brought into her life. Ellie refuses to believe Logan died. She can feel him still and until he comes to rescue her she won’t backdown to Shadow and fight him off every chance she gets.
Ellie is one strong woman. She never saw herself as strong and never stood up to her fears. Once Logan entered her life Ellie’s backbone came out and she embraced it. She fought and stood up for both herself as well for Logan.
Logan’s always been a protector. He’s always looked after his brothers since they were younger. He even took over his fathers business that he never wanted. Protecting Ellie was no different. Logan has also loved Ellie since the instant he laid his eyes on her. Logan worships the ground that she walks on.
These two are literally couple goals. Even when they’re at their lowest, after they’re in mourning a loss and dealing with physical and mental pain they still are madly in love and more worried about the other one before themselves. I’m so in love with Logan and Ellie and as much as I loved their story, I’m sad it’s over.
I’m hoping Kathy is definitely writing Logan’s brothers stories bc those fine men desperately need HEA AS does Ellie’s best friend.
Me for one is thankful i finally have the conclusion to this trilogy. After the way that undone was left i was at the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen in Untwist. I will have you know that my heart was ripped from my chest and then was put back together and i am very thankful for that. To see what Ellie has gone through in her whole life to be brought to hell and back there is no stronger woman alive. the love that Logan and Ellie have is one of a kind and it was only fitting that they get there HEA. I don’t think there is anything that Logan would have done to get Ellie back. It was raw and intense and hard to put down. thank you for a GREAT trilogy I loved it
Untwist is the final book in the Unbound Trilogy. It is the perfect name for this book, but let me tell you, your heart, your soul, every fiber of your being it’s going to be twisted so tight you’re going to think it won’t ever “untwist.” Kathy Coopmans takes it to a whole new level of dark and depraved. Ellie is so strong and her sheer will and love for Logan get her through something I can’t even fathom. This is one epic conclusion to the unbound trilogy. It’s not for the faint of heart, so be warned, but it is a book you’ll never forget and won’t be sorry you read.
Untwist by Kathy Coopmans is the 3rd book in the Unbound Trilogy. OMG what a crazy , beautiful, sizzling, exciting, raw, romantic suspense, emotional, action-packed, plot-triffic read that Kathy Coopmans has written!!!
Book 3 picks up from book 2 epic cliffhanger and delves directly into book 3 and finding out if Ellie and Logan will ever get their HEA. The plot twists and turns with a brilliant and beautiful story that kept me hooked. There are so many twists and the turns at times are quite wicked and terrifying while otherwise it was delicious and brilliant. I loved reading Ellie and Logan’s final installment. This was quite the emotional rollercoaster trilogy and I enjoyed the reading experience. Without giving anything away, this book finishes quite electrifying . The HEA was so good!!
My Rating: 4.8 stars ********
I did not know if I was going to be able to wait for this one but I did. The emotions that she has wrenched out of us so far is to the point you think you will not be able to take anymore but she still achieves the impossible and pulls even deeper bring out more in the characters thus pushing more out of us. This ride is more than any ride at a amusement park that Logan and Ellie have us on. Oh if I could I would take out Shadow myself but we have to see what goes on through the eyes of these guys. I now have a few more silver hairs than when I started haha! This author is one of the few that can keep me in a trilogy. The intensity is more than even a Nora book trilogy which I adore. Have mercy on us and do not keep us long for whatever torture you have get ready for us next.
Of all the swoony men to fall for, you had to pick this one…
Logan Mitchell is without a doubt swoon central. This man has planned revenge for a woman he didn’t even know. He has plotted to destroy those that hurt her and tried to regain all that she lost. If that isnt romantic, than maybe you need to see how this twisted tale Untwist(s). We were Unbound, Unravel(ed), and now Untwist(ed). This trilogy is a wild ride between the action, the edge, and the love.
Untwist is an ending and yet I hope it’s just the beginning. We finally see what lurks in the Shadow. We finally see what we have craved since learning about that fateful day. I was downright gleeful reading about Seth’s particular brand of help. I was practically purring in satisfaction at Logan’s ability to flick his wrist so craftily. (Snickers)
I fully embrace the darkness that taints my soul and love that Ellie does as well. Untwist gives us the closure we desperately needed. It also starts a fire and need for more. I want more Mitchell brothers. I want friends and family editions…or do I mean additions. This greedy reader wants it all!
Oh and can we talk about these new covers…wow! (Bites knuckles) Just wow!
Reviewed for Sweet Spot Sisterhood
This is one of the best trilogies I’ve read. I don’t think I’ve ever rooted more for a fictional couple to find their happily ever after. I wasn’t sure it would happen for Ellie and Logan. They’ve been through so much, all I can say is well done, Kathy!
Holy fudging fudgesticks! Where oh where is that damn golden button! You know the one! The one we want to press so damn hard when we want to give way more than five stars!!!
Again, I am lying on a sun lounger in the Spanish sun, having my heart ripped to shreds, stapled roughly back together, only to have it shredded again!! Tears dripping down my face…..and maybe not for the reasons you think!
I also shouted! Ellie is so much stronger than people think and when it comes to fighting for her happiness and light, she will do all she can to overcome the dark.
She and Logan deserve all the light but darkness descends to try obliterate it. My composure, my very being was shot to pieces whilst reading this.
Kathy Coopmans does it every damn time! Stops my heart….and I would not have it any other way. Psshhh, breathing is over-rated! And today of all days, that line at the end of Chapter 15, I felt to the bottom of my soul.
I have been Unravelled, Undone and Untwisted!
5 UNTWIST STARS!! The ending of this trilogy is the icing on the cake. It was delicious with all the feels, I devoured every word as quickly as possible. Ellie is so strong and beautiful and Logan is her everything. This is one of the best trilogy I have ever read. If you have not started this trilogy, what are you waiting for…..it is called binge reading.
Such an intense trilogy! Yes, read them in order.
This ending is perfection. No spoilers so I won’t say any more than that. Just read it!
